Our experience was bad! The guys you sent are not movers, they are skinny, not meant to be movers, they were very very slow, it took them so much time to lift one piece, in fact they were taking tremendous amount of time moving around. My husband showed them what needs to be moved. But instead they disconnected the dryer and brought it downstairs, then they had to take it back. Which was a waste of time. At the end they didn't close the truck properly. The doors opened when driving, a huge piece of furniture fell out and broke down. They didn't arrive to the house we moved for another 30 minutes after my husband did, meanwhile the time was counting. They went to eat somewhere. When they finally came, they ended up scratching my front door ( brand new house ). Worst experience ever. Don't recommend it to anyone!!

I hired 3 helpers from Pete's Moving Services to unload a 26' moving truck and deliver the items to a third floor apartment. I have never hire moving labor help and did not know what to expect. I read a number reviews for other companies and came across some horror stories where a bunch of inexperienced ex-cons/drug-addicts showed up and threw around their boxes and stole their belongings. I was pleasantly surprised. Pete kept in touch and called to let me know when the guys would arrive. They arrived on time and the guys were friendly, clean-cut, and good spirited. The guys worked hard and managed to complete the job ~30 mins early. All the items made it to the apartment without issue. This was my first time hiring moving labor help, but I would definitely hire them again for any future moves.

Contracted Pete's Moving to show up between Noon and 1pm. Movers did not show up until 5:30pm. Was on the phone numerous times with Pete's Moving and HigherAHelper to find out what was going on. Pete's Moving kept telling us that the movers were "running late on another job". The actual movers themselves were awesome and efficient. When we asked them what other job took them so long, they responded that the issue was they were just never told about my job and had they known, they would have shown up on time. This is CLEARLY a poor management problem and Pete's Moving was not honest and upfront about whey they had nobody to show up on time.

This is the second time I've used Pete's Moving Services, and I was very pleased with their work both times. They were very careful and polite, worked hard, and completed the jobs on time. My only issue is that they were an hour late each time due to earlier moves. I would opt for the earliest morning appointment if you're pressed for time.

The movers were a little late arriving, but they had an earlier job that overran its time. But the two guys worked hard and quickly and got my entire house loaded onto a truck in less than three hours. It was amazing how well Jeff fit everything into every square inch of that truck. Truly awesome. They used the straps and plenty of furniture throws to protect the furniture, so I'm hoping nothing got broken or scratched. I won't know for another month, though, when I actually unload everything.
