Relocation with Helpful Movers
After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. We cover anywhere from Seattle to Olympia to Bremerton. We offer out of state moves and we can also supply a company truck for in state moves if needed, please call for pricing. Jason and Robert were an excellent team - professional, thorough, and knowledgeable about moving furniture. They showed up early and finished on time. They helped by pointing out several issues with broken furniture that I didn't even realize so was appreciative. And they offered to put together my desk (complicated glass desk which is quite heavy and awkward) in record time. They didn't have to do that. I definitely recommend this team and would use them again.

We had an internal office move to replace carpet in several offices and they did a great job. We had some additional requests to re-configure a couple of offices and they worked with us to get everything just the way we wanted it. They were patient as we talked through the changes and figured out how we wanted the furniture placed. They were a couple of minutes late one day and called to let us know they were stuck in traffic. We have an additional space that will be getting new carpet and I will be calling them again. Great job!

This was a last-minute job - literally. We were moving furniture for holiday guests the day before and my husband injured himself. I called Helpful Movers and even though they were in Tacoma and I'm in Bellevue the owner found two great guys to help me on the same day. Those two guys arrived when promised, were extremely helpful, very pleasant, took excellent care with moving from upstairs to downstairs with no damage to the furniture or the walls, and were very respectful of my home and to me personally. I would recommend them with no hesitation, and will hire them again after the holidays to help me move things back.

Even though HireAHelper gave the movers a 4 hour window, they insisted on calling and setting up an 9 am arrival. So of course that's what I expected. After multiple calls on the day of the move because of "navigation issues" among other things, they didn't show up until 11:30. The movers were fine, could have worked a little quicker and paid more attention to the Fragile label on my boxes, but overall the job was done.

Would have been Five star service! Movers showed up on time, were very courteous, and carefully packed my POD container with more than we thought would fit. Unfortunately, they pushed a dresser across a hardwood floor and left 20-foot-long railroad track scratches that will cost me more than the loading fee to get fixed...Oh well.

The movers Anthony and David were outstanding. They were extremely polite and courteous, very hard working and easy to get along with. They loaded a truck for us and unloaded it as well. We ended up having to alter our timing last minute, and they were so understanding and very accommodating! They did a great job when it came to fitting everything in the moving truck and unloading it efficiently. They were so respectful of our time, and keeping the move within the scheduled time so we wouldn't go over. Wonderful help, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a mover. We couldn't have been more pleased with their service.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
