These movers were among the best I've ever hired. They arrived on time, and were very careful with all of my things, as well as taking care not to damage or nick walls or woodwork. They were amazing at moving my large, heavy pieces, some of which had to go up two narrow flights of stairs. I was impressed, too, by how efficient and prepared they were. For example, my front door had to be taken off in order to move some of my furniture in, and they did the job in no time.
In the past, I've hired movers who assured me that they "could move anything," only to be disappointed to find that they didn't have the knowledge required to move certain pieces, or were unprepared in other ways. Not these guys...They definitely know what they're doing.
If you want hard-working, experienced movers who respect your belongings and know how to move them properly, call Independent Movers. If I move again, I will definitely be calling them again.

Our helpers were wonderful! The very quickly loaded an unloaded our truck. While they were loading, they carefully packed the moving truck so that nothing would shift in transport. We were very happy and would recommend them!

We were moving our two bedroom apartment from Coolidge Corner to Denver. We had a 16ft Penske truck. Our items included several large pieces of furniture, including a sofa that barely fit through the door when we came in and a solid wood buffet table. These two guys were absolutely outstanding. They made quick work of the furniture that took us so long to move in. We were nervous about the size of the truck and our ability to get everything in, but they packed it so efficiently that we had room to spare in the end. They actually finished packing the truck 1 hr and 30 mins into our appointment. They were very prompt, arriving when they said they would. Ventsislav was excellent about communicating via email prior to the appointment. I would absolutely recommend them again to any of my friends or family. Best decision we made during the move thus far.

Independent movers were easy to communicate with, arrived on time, and were efficient at packing our pod for a cross country move. We have already recommended them for some of our close friends and we would definitely use them again.

I went with independent movers and they were amazing. Arrived right on time and helped me bring 50+ lb boxes down 3 flights of stairs and walked them to the post office and storage area on my campus ( both about 200 meters away from my building). Both were polite and efficient. I'd definitely use them again!

Ventislav and Matt were fantastic. They showed up a few minutes early and got to work immediately. They stacked the truck incredibly well and tied everything down with the rope I provided. The finished my entire first floor 1+ bedroom apartment 30 minutes faster than I hired them for. There is a 2 hour minimum so I paid for the 30 minutes they didn't have to work, but it was worth every penny. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
