Curtis and Jason did a great job of loading our U-Haul efficiently and utilizing the space available to fit everything. However, we had a few concerns (one of which was serious) which would prevent us from using Movers R Us in the future.
My wife did a detailed job of separating boxes of fragile items from the rest of the boxes and specifically asked them to leave those boxes so that we could take care of them (load them into a personal vehicle). There was miscommunication on the part of the two movers, because they ended up moving all of our boxes including the specifically separated fragile boxes.
I had requested that the furniture be wrapped in furniture blankets, but a soft leather office chair was not wrapped in a furniture blanket. As a result, it received two major scuff marks which deter from its looks and roughened the feel of the leather. The most serious damage which occurred was another result of miscommunication within the team of 2 movers. My wife asked that they take special care of our antique octagonal table which had been handed down across 3 generations of our family. Unfortunately, it fell from the furniture dolly while descending a flight of stairs and crashed down each step until it was a pile of parts and pieces at the bottom of the stairs.
Chunks of wood are missing from another of our chairs, and various scratches were caused to other pieces of furniture. While the packing job was completed quickly and it all fitted in our 26' U-Haul, my wife and I were disappointed to see an antique table broken into parts and pieces, and several furniture pieces damaged.
The two movers did a great job overall, but because of the number of items damaged after specific instructions were given, we would not recommend Movers R Us nor utilize their services in the future.

All customers should expect a Call the day before your schedule move, and also a call before they are in route to the location the day of the schedule move .

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The best part about being a Mover is being able to satisfy the Customers and play Tetris with all of their items. Our motto is if it can't move, it can't break.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide a 2-week paid training Monday - Friday. Training class is a hour and a half long.
