The two men who unpacked two PODS and transferred all items into one 26' Penske moving truck were excellent, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient!

Overall, it was what you expect with movers here in Charlotte. Nothing excellent whatsoever. Three movers total were hired to load/unload a U-Haul truck I rented. One of the workers was pretty good, one was average, and one was downright awful. One was so out of shape, he couldn't hardly walk, let alone move. The three guys were slow going to put it best and it added to the cost of the move. What was really frustrating was the lack of care in putting a nice desk in the truck. One of the movers placed metal bed frames onto the wood desk without any padding or protectors. When we arrived at the storage unit, the desk was completely damaged. This damage was unnecessary and as a result of carelessness. While I did not ask for a credit, I took time to address my concerns with the overall quality. I will not be using their service again. That's for sure. Despite my unhappiness, I paid $60 tip per person and bought them lunch. I would consider another company in the future. All-in-all: 1) They arrived late; 2) They were overall moderate to slow; 3) They were average with respect to protecting and caring for my belongings; and 4) I will not use them again.

the 2 helpers that showed up clearly had no prior moving experience or are simply negligent. within the first 15 minutes, they put a hole in the drywall by trying to move a bookshelf down a fight of stairs. $175 went missing from my son's wallet - damage to several pieces of furniture-called the owner to complain and no response -would not recommend this company to anyone

This was our second time using hire a helper and our first time using mobile moving. Our first experience with hire a helper was a positive one, this one was not. They arrived on time, but never returned my call the day before to confirm that they were coming so I wasn't confident until they arrived. Upon arrival they told us they were in a hurry to get to their next job. They were not careful or considerate with our things at all. A refrigerator was dropped and a nightstand surface was ruined. They didn't have the organization that our previous moves guys had and it showed. We planned to use some of our time to have help organizing our things in short term storage but with their level of care we felt better with unused time and doing it alone. I would not use them again.

They arrived on time and worked nonstop throughout the time they were there. The only downside was that they rushed a little bit and slung several things around that werent meant to be rolled, turned, carried sideways, etc. Other than that they were fantastic to work with.
