What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We perform a Welcome Call to review all of the move details asap once a move is booked. On that Welcome Call, we confirm inventory, property logistics, and move readiness. We want you to have the smoothest move experience possible and we've found this Welcome Call helps to prepare both our clients and our move teams for all the specifics of a booked move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our clients receive an ETA text or call from their move captain, along with a bio that tells you a little about your move captain's background. When the move team arrives onsite, we will perform a walkthrough with the client to confirm inventory and address any concerns or challenges the client may have about their inventory. We communicate with our clients once en route to the destination and are available by phone throughout the move. We perform another walkthrough when the move has completed.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Move readiness is the biggest factor in estimate accuracy and clients who work diligently to be ready on move day have the best experience on both time spent moving and total move cost. All boxes should be packed, stacked, labeled, and staged near the best exit to the truck. The fewer loose, miscellaneous items there are on move day, the more efficiently the inventory can be safely moved. Disconnect all appliances prior to move day.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've performed both commercial and residential moves of all sizes, located from our southern California border all the way up to the Bay Area, and everything in between. We are prepared and experienced in every type of move large and small.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have a passion for easing the stress of moving for our clients. With our Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable, Service, the Hunks are well trained, expert movers, with a focus on a winning attitude to ensure a 5-star client experience every time.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We have extensive technical move training for all new hires and ongoing monthly training for the entire team. Our training focuses on execution of move skills, from furniture protection, to home protection, document presentation to our clients, and strategies for all move scenarios. We have packing/unpacking training, truck tiering and organization for safety, and driver training for our large move trucks.
