Relocation with Helpful Movers
After 7 years in business, our goal at Helpful Movers has always been to make your move as stress free as it can be, all of our crews are courteous, polite, and helpful with anything needing to be done. We always treat your items with the utmost care just like they were our own. We disassemble/reassemble furniture except reassembly of cribs and bunkbeds due to safety. I needed Helpful Movers for a two part moving task. It involved no driving but a good deal of moving heavy or bulky items from the garage into the house as well as moving items from a 16 foot storage pod into the garage,
I walk with the aid of a prothesis so my heavy moving is limited. I needed the services of a good moving company, and the two employees from Helpful Movers who arrived at the house were extraordinarily helpful movers.
First off, they arrived on time. When they entered the house, they introduced themselves, and I showed them the rooms in which the garage furniture was to be placed. They were very accommodating, and they listened. They asked questions when they didn’t understand how I wanted something placed and their manner was always extremely pleasant.
We then went into the garage and things started to change location. Both men worked continuously until the furniture was moved and positioned in the house and then they immediately went to work on the pod and moved those boxes and furniture into the garage.
Both were extremely respectful of the furniture and other items and I can confidently say that not a mark was put on any of it.
These two employees made my day as well as the move back into the house infinitely easier. My brother and his wife have a move coming in a couple of months and Helpful Movers absolutely will have that job!
I can not say enough nice things about Helpful Movers and the people they hire. I give them the highest rating of any company I have ever hired to help me move.

The movers showed up on time, and worked hard. But they went 2 hours over, broke one of our dressers. Damaged our coffee table. Bent our bed when we asked them not to. The way we had things set up for them, and the amount of stuff I personally moved that morning before they showed up, they should have been done in 2 hours instead of the 5 they took. They took everything apart that wasn't even necessary. So extra trips were needed to get everything to the truck. The truck was poorly loaded. I had to call a friend to help unload so I could return the truck on time! I wouldn't recommend this company unless you've got a small amount to move.

Mover showed up on time, was very helpful in terms of knowing how to load items to make them fit in the truck, was strong enough to do the job, had knowledge of how to use an appliance dolly, was very respectful! This is the second time I have used this service and 2nd time I am very pleased with the worker sent.

Justin was great, however I thought I was paying for 2 movers. Assisting him were a 120 lb high school kid and another slightly built young man with severe carpal tunnel syndrome. My 50 year old wife hauled the same item up the driveway that they did in half the time. No kidding! If I had 2 Justin's the service would have been worth it, but sadly I felt that I was assisting Justin babysit for a day. Do not recommend, really disappointed!

They were flexible when U-Haul cancelled my truck and help me out by providing their truck for the cost of gas and seem to enjoy their job. Would absolutely hire these guys again.

One showed up on time, other was 30+ minutes later. Seemed okay at first, but once we arrived to our destination we discovered how haphazard they placed items. Ruined my dresser leaving the drawers in empty, with nothing supporting inside, placed heavy boxes on top so it collapsed in the middle. Also ruined one of our TVs, which we boxed in a $20 padded TV box. It was laying diagonal after falling and having a living room chair they stacked to the ceiling(WTF???) Fall on it. Find a different mover or just hire tweakers from the corner cause that's pretty much what they are.

The workers treated my belongings with care, worked very hard and were pleasant overall. They really knew how to maximize space in filing the POD I had ordered. I didn't think they could fit as much as they did. I was vey pleased with their work and the results.

The guys arrived on time and did a fantastic job! They were very polite and managed the tricky stairs to the third floor expertly. They unloaded 6 Uboxes in 3 hours. I am so glad we hired them!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We will give you a call as soon as possible to get all of the details for your move confirmed and also go through your move with you to discuss any additional information that may happen for your move. Also we will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Once we arrive onsite we will do a brief walk through and then we will get started by prepping any furniture for loading and proceed to loading your Pod, Truck or Trailer.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best way to prepare for your move is always organization, having walkways cleared for the movers so as not to trip over anything. If we are unloading a great time saver is to take post it notes label each room #1,#2 etc then as we are bring boxes in you can say that goes to room # this makes it much easier for you and saves you time and money!
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled every move there is, we do in-state, residential, commercial, industrial, out of state, in home, remodels, we also do staging as well!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
By far we love doing everything we can to take the stress out of your move, we know moving is a very stressful thing to do, so we want to do everything we can to make whatever part we are taking in it to be stress free.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our employees go through training on jobs as an extra crew member to learn everything they need to know before being sent out. It is imperative that they learn how to handle your belongings properly before they are put on as a full time member of our company.
