This is my second review for John. Overall, I am very impressed with John's knowledge of what it takes to do the job well as well as the care he takes to ensure that your furniture is moved safely.
After a move from TX to NJ, my expensive Tempurpedic mattress developed several bumps. I thought that it got spoiled during the transportation. John opened the mattress and removed all the bumps...the other movers that I worked with previously never showed this much interest in making sure that my stuff is taken care of.
I would gladly use Sutton & Co again in the future and would highly recommend it to others. Make sure you ask for John.

Was disappointed when 2nd mover did not show up. 1st was early but could do no real moving till 2nd came. I would say that I was happy that the Mgr did personally come with a 2nd move and started them off well. The 2 men worked hard and were very courteous. The delay unfortunately did not allow for a 2nt trip to our storage unit which impacted us. Eventhough, I would try this company again as the Mgr did respond professionally and the men did work hard. Just timing hurt. Thx

After reading all the great reviews we were a little dissapointed. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication in general. The one mover who showed up, Carlos, was amazing. He carried all of our stuff up 4 flights alone, as our designated second mover came an hour and 45 min. late. Several attempts to get a second, different person were made but failed. We kept being told someone was 15 minutes away when they clearly were not. The company gave us a partial refund (40% being a liberal estimate). Carlos gets 5 stars - the headache of the situation gets 3.

My helpers were an hour and 45 minutes late and I had only booked them for a two hour time slot. By the time they arrived my UHaul had to be returned, so I had no choice other than to leave my belongings on the street. Both Helpers were professional and made the last few trips into my apt very easy. If only they had been there on time so the move (as planned) could have gone smoother!

After a disasterous moving experience with VIP Relocation (never use them if you know what's good for you) we were completely overwhelmed, surrounded with our belongings, two small wailing children, and no light at the end of a very long nightmarish tunnel. Along came John and his guys on their white horses (actually a silver SUV to be precise) and proceeded to do more in one hour than the jokers/movers had done in 6. They moved the king size mattress upstairs, which the movers said couldn't be done. They put all the furniture where we wanted it, and they even dug through boxes and assembled things, basically they put our broken lives back together in a few hours. John, thanks to you and your guys, we got back our sanity!

We moved a 2 bedroom apartment and hired two guys from Sutton & Co to help us. They arrived 30 minutes early and worked nonstop. They did a great job maneuvering all of the heavy items and did not damage anything. We would definitely use them again Thank you

The guys were very patient, even though we were...2 hours late to meet them, and it was cold out. Keep in mind, if you go overtime, you must pay in cash. Very helpful and friendly, and always able to reach someone via cell phone.
