The movers were very good. They were prepared for the job. They worked very hard, never hesitated to move anything no matter how heavy or awkward. They were careful around obstacles and respectful of our property. The only issue was that they were 20 minutes late. I would definitely use them again.

I requested three members for two hours from BT Integrity. The team was 1.5 hrs late arriving to the house. They did work hard upon arrival and told me there would be a 15% discount for their tardiness. I have yet to get a call back from the company.

Original agreement was to arrive at our home between
7-8am - was told that they would bring equip. requested, which would double the with ours and make things go faster and easier. On the day of the load, we were told that we would not have BT but a local co. that they obviously sub-contract with. This information should have…read more been from the start when we talked with BT - which we were told were proved experts in loading a POD.
The 2 young men that arrived finally @ 9:15am were very nice, hard workers and took instruction well. However, they were not experts at loading a POD, in fact they told us ours was the first one they had seen, and
the first one they would load. Now that is not what a client wants to hear when we have very nice things, and are retired, and limited to what they can do. However, these two young men were gracious and hard working.
We told their employeer (via telephone) to be sure to pay them for the full 3 hrs (even tho we let them go 15mins. early.) Now, the question is"would we use Hire-a-Helper again - yes - the premise is good, and we need help to unload the POD when the time comes.

To say there were problems is a major understatement! Absolutely do NOT ever use them!!
At 1:45PM, 15 minutes prior to their expected arrival time, Brad (owner) calls to say they had a family emergency that morning and therefore would arrive at 3:30PM. Very upset, and a strong sense I was being lied to about the reason, I …read morereminded him I had a truck rental due back by 6:30PM to avoid another $240 day of rental....they'd better be there. (Why didn't they call me in the morning, at the time of the alleged family emergency? If it was legitimate, it at least would have allowed me time to make other arrangements.)
At 3:45 I called him and he assured me they were very close, maybe 20 minutes more. At 4:30PM I called again and he assured me I would see them in 20 minutes and he would call me right back. At 5:30PM he refused to answer his phone (now knowing my number on his caller ID) and his voice mail box was full. No one EVER showed up! No one ever called me again.
The name of his business, BT Integrity, is a joke!
Generally, I am not a litigious type of person but I considered it in this case. Thankfully, Hireahelper made sure I paid $0 to BT and overall was beyond professional in THEIR interactions with me so I have no beef with them.

I used BT Integrity to unload a trailer when I arrived in Washington on an interstate move. They were very flexible, careful, thorough and efficient. When I wasn't sure what time I would arrive, they kept in contact with me and were able to adjust their schedule to meet my needs. I'd like to go 3.5 stars, but there's no option for that. They were better than okay, but not quite a level higher.
WHAT THEY DID RIGHT:
They got everything from one place to the other without breaking or damaging anything. That part was fine.
They were an hour late, but they called ahead to let me know they were ru…read morenning late and to make sure that was okay (it was), so I didn't hold that against them.
WHAT WAS SOMEWHAT WRONG:
In addition, apparently they showed up thinking they were only loading the truck (rather than also unloading it at the new place), because of a miscommunication from the company. They also were unaware that my new place was a third-floor apartment, which the leader said would have been cause for him to bring a third worker if he had known.
WHAT WAS REALLY WRONG:
My main objection, however, was that the workers seemed to be stuck in one gear, and it was LOW. There were two guys, and I didn't have that much stuff (as I had moved all the boxes to the new place ahead of time, so I had just 31 items of furniture/decor to go on my truck. I had paid for two hours up front, and had anticipated that we could finish the whole job in that time (as we were going only 5 miles). I even collected all the one-person items (lamps, small chairs, small tables) in my garage next to the truck, so they didn't have to waste time carrying it down stairs. In other words, it was as ready as could be for a quick load.
There just didn't seem to be any sense of urgency, even though I explained the entire situation as soon as they arrived. At the half-hour point, they had loaded only 9 items on the truck, when I had anticipated the whole loading process taking 45 minutes. I was amazed that people could seem so sluggish about a task when there was time pressure on (especially when they have an incentive to finish quickly, as I had explained that their tip would be calculated in part on whether we got done in two hours).
They were nice guys, and they did the job well. They were just slow. They ended up taking 2.5 hours to do the job, and I had them leave all the one-person items on the ground floor at the new place and I carried them up myself after the movers were gone to save it from going even longer.

On time: not on time-they were an hour late
Job Preparation:
No. They did not have the essential tools. I had to buy a pressure wash from home depot that day and still they could not do the pressure wash due to lack of labor distribution..e.g. who does what at certain time periods and exceeding agreed time period....job…read more became prohibitively expensive.
Hard work:
Yes, I think each person worked their hardest.
Respect for Property/Goods:
Yes they were respectful.
On overall quality of service:
They finished only the essentials in a very clean, thorough and complete manner however it was done OVER the agreed amount of time and therefore I had to pay more...$80.00 more even if there were already 4 people simultaneously doing the job.
Whether I'll use them again:
I have to think it over and look at how others view their improvement level of promptness and ability to stick to agreed services. 'Also need to look at level of preparation to perform certain services from customer testimonials.

Could you ask for better movers? My answer is no way.
These guys were AMAZING. I'm sure people are going to think my enthusiastic response is some kind of paid promotion, but Travis and Brad were just really THAT wonderful to work with.
They arrived early (before us, even!), and helped us get our 16' truck backed into the…read more loading dock. They didn't complain about us being a bit late because of traffic, and they were extremely patient with the ridiculously long hallways between the freight elevator and our apartment.
They were friendly, but didn't slack off to sit around and talk. They were exceptionally careful with all of our furniture and our walls. We ran over our paid time (we paid them the excess at the end), and they were extremely cooperative with staying an extra hour and a half to get all of our stuff moved in.
I really can't recommend them enough. When we move out, I know who I'm calling for help. =)

I hired BT for some cleaning and painting. They cleaned but I was not pleased with the painting. They did come all the way from Tacoma to Redmond but got there 50 minutes late. They showed up over an hour late. I had to keep calling to see where they were. And after all that, it turns out they "accidently" took two of our handtrucks and left us one of theirs that was much older than ours. I definitely would not recommend using them.

We are very sorry about being an hour late, Map Quest gave us the wrong instructions in which we did stay 1 1/2 later at no charge. WE did return the handtrucks in which we did not recive ours back.

The two young people who showed-up to help with a final house clean were on-time and they were pleasant and agreeable. Unfortunately, after they left (about 15 minutes early by the way), I inspected their work and found several incompleted areas. The toilet bowl rims were not cleaned, mirrors needed windexing, floors still had…read more areas that were not well cleaned, and the glassed-in shower in the master was not cleaned at all . These were two young people who, while cooperative, seemed to lack experience. One of them with a more senior, experienced person supervising and checking them would have yielded a better result.

The people we sent were new on our team it was their first job through us, for at any time you need help with anything we would be happy to do it FREE of charge!

We thought the three (3) guys who helped us unload our huge U-Haul were terrific. They completed the move in record time, were extremely conscientious and offered suggestions as to furniture placement.
