The movers were flexible with their time- we actually called to ask them to come early and they were able to accommodate us. They were very well prepared for the task. They worked very hard and were super efficient, finishing the move well ahead of the projected schedule. They were respectful of our stuff and the house we were moving out of. I would recommend them and use them again if needed.

My husband and I were exceptionally pleased with all 4 loaders. They were very punctual and courteous. They were prepared for the job by bringing their wrapping blankets. They worked very hard and were extremely careful not to damage any walls. Matter of fact, I was so surprised that none of my chandeliers were broken since I have had them hung so low ( I was thinking of removing the crystals before they came but I had not time).
This was a very large move (entire 3,200 sq. foot home) moving from NY to SC and they were wonderful. This was the first time that I have used "Affordable Movers" and would definately use them in the future and have already relayed this message to all my friends and family members.
Matter of fact, the new owners of our home in NY were present after the closing on the home during this move, was so impressed with their careful attention to details, that right than and there he asked one of the loaders for their name and phone no because he will be using them for his move.
Finally, I would like to add that the price is extremely reasonable for such hard labor!

the two men who came to do the unloading did a great job- they worked hard, worked very well. The company, though, should have sent some kind of equipment or hand-truck to facilitate the job- I let the company know well in advance that the stuff would have to be carried a short distance up a small hill up the sidewalk to my building- the company should have sent some hand-trucks so the unloading would have been more efficient ...I know they're only supposed to provide labor, but, c'mon people...a moving company with no hand-trucks?? charging a fee of $270 for two hours and no hand-trucks?.but one of the helpers stopped along the way here and got a little dolly, which did help, and I paid the $10 for that. It all got done. The guys were right on time, very friendly and courteous.
This is a labor only website. We do not provide hand trucks, etc etc. I told you that the day i spoke to you. I did send the guys with a dolly though, but yes that does cost extra. So yes we did bring a dolly at your request. Thanks again.

I was to have 2 movers for 2 hours. Todd showed up on time - even a bit early. No one else showed but after several calls by Todd a second mover arrived about an hour later. In the mean time, Todd worked very hard inspite of some boxes being very heavy. He was very respectful and responsive to my needs. The 2nd mover was also very good. I would have given 5 stars but for a worker not showing and it taking an hour to get someone to fill in.

All in all --- everything was completed. I must say however... Getting ahold of the owner is near Impossible. Movers were young, around 22. Worked hard on a hot/muggy day. No complaints. Nothing broke. I had to rent my own truck tho.
