Ben and Malik were great. We ended up getting to the new place to unload early, and when they checked in to confirm the appointment, they agreed to come early. The new place is an apartment on the 3rd floor with exterior stairs. They were both great. Very professional, friendly and did a great job. I highly recommend them.

Ronny was helpful and responsive with questions I had prior to move day. I was not able to be there on the day they loaded but my son was there for me. This was an 8 foot pod which only had leftovers that didn’t fit in a 16 foot pod. Pack Rat requires a minimum 2 hours to be paid as a minimum fee so that’s what we paid. My son estimated that they were done in well under one hour. The pod was delivered to our new location today and when I opened the door I was stunned. There was no organization of any of our items. It literally looked as if the items were just thrown in. We had left numerous tiedowns and way more cellophane wrap than would be needed. These weren’t even touched. They were just left unused in the pod. They didn’t wrap one thing. Not one single thing. Nor was anything tied down. Nothing. We had 4 folding side chairs that they didn’t bother to wrap together. We had 3 quality TV trays that were also not wrapped but just put randomly in the pod. They are now scraped and cut. The office desk was put against the side wall standing up. Two of the legs are barely hanging on. I’m not sure if they’re repairable or broken. No tiedowns were used to hold the desk in place. There were just random other boxes placed by it. So the desk would’ve been shaken and jarred each time the pod was moved. A box of very heavy books was placed on another box and so the bottom box was crushed. We paid for two hours. Since it was a very small job for them to do, it’s frustrating with the extra time they had, that they didn’t make sure that the proper items were tied down, that things weren’t thrown in randomly and that they didn’t take better care of our belongings. They made a good amount of money for a minimal amount of work and did not provide the proper care of our items.
First, I would like to thank you for your business. It is always disheartening though infrequent to hear stories like yours. We did have a good conversation concerning your relocation prior to loading and you mentioned you would not be present at loading, but your son would be there. After reading your review, I discussed your specific order with the crew that was assigned that day to load. They informed me the contents had already been stretched wrapped and there was no need to apply additional wrapping, as all items that needed wrap were already wrapped. NOTE: As for the straps (tie-downs), your shipment was minimal and could not/would not fill the container and there was no bulk-head supplied to hold items in place for transit. During circumstances as such, logistic companies worldwide are directed to place contents low to the ground (float items) and that is the procedure the crew used. Tie down (eye/hooks) in the contained were not located in a spot where it was not a viable option to secure. After loading, your son checked and confirmed the loading and gave it the Green-light as being good! Sorry to hear that your items did not arrive as expected, I can assure you that it was not due to the crew that loaded, but rather the container size and no bulkhead.

Ronnie was very accomodating when I needed to change the date of my move. His team made quick work of my truck, even moving a flat file that weighed a ton with just a dolley. Ronnie even sent an extra worker to make sure the job got done and didn't charge me for it. Nice guys, I'd recommend them anytime.

Will overcharge you and refuse to refund
You originally contracted for 2 men for 3 hrs. No problem! Later you requested a 3rd man for your job, which I supplied at a drastically reduced hourly rate. NOW, after the fact and after I supplied all that you requested, you leave an unsubstantiated untrue review. Grandmother warned me "No good deed goes unpunished"!
