HireAHelper Orders
w/ Premium Coverage
HireAHelper fees are 29% on orders for ALL moving service providers on Standard/Elite/Movers + Truck Orders.

HireAHelper.com is a marketplace for movers where visitors view and compare your moving company reviews, prices and credentials, then book you for your service. We send you jobs, never leads.

We Only Get Paid When You Do

Inside your free Helper account, you can set your own rates, service radius, availability and service details. You accept order requests as they come in, then we'll send you notifications straight to your inbox or via text message, whichever you prefer.

After the job is complete, the funds are immediately transferred into your account, minus a prorated fee. It’s that simple!

Standard Order with Premium Coverage


Standard Orders with Premium Coverage is for companies who have HireAHelper assist with issues and damages on Standard Orders. This coverage level is the default setting on the HireAHelper marketplace.

You don't have to groan when a customer whips out their Amex card, ‘cause we process it for you and cover the fees.

Elite

Elite Order with Premium Coverage


Elite Orders require a higher level of service and have additional requirements. These are the next evolution of the orders that some of you receive now, which require background checked crews. If you qualify to offer Elite Services in the HireAHelper marketplace, you'll be able to charge more for these services. Check out the Elite tab in your account to see if you qualify.

Movers + Truck

Movers + Truck Order With Premium Coverage


Movers + Truck Orders require the highest level of service and thus have additional requirements.

Movers + Truck Orders will begin on HireAHelper starting January 2019. To qualify, all Movers + Truck Orders require background checked crews, bringing your own truck, providing furniture pads, and more.

If you qualify to offer Movers + Truck in the HireAHelper marketplace, you will be able to charge higher prices to adjust for these services. Check out the Movers + Truck tab in your account to see if you qualify and how to apply.

MORE COVERAGE

These babies come with the same protection as Elite Orders, with a higher level of service you'll need a higher level of protection.

Each has their own coverage limits and a predefined amount of coverage you'll contribute (think: insurance deductible).

Basic Coverage


Basic Coverage Assistance is for companies who have HireAHelper assist with issues and damages on Direct Book Orders.

1. HireAHelper Payment Guarantee

Chargeback assistance

If a customer attempts to chargeback a valid payment for services you completed then HireAHelper will work with you to contest it. Signed invoices, emails, phone records, and photos showing the services were rendered are often essential to prove your case. If their financial institution decides against you then you will have to return the funds, so make sure to protect yourself and keep your paperwork in order!

Chargeback coverage*

If you provide proof that the service was completed but the customer's financial institution decides against you and recalls the funds then HireAHelper will cover the chargeback for you.

Guaranteed cancellation fees*

If a customer refuses to pay a cancellation fee they owe and you provide proof that you contacted them when the order was placed and the day before their move then HAH will cover the cancellation fee.

Extra Hour Guarantee*

If your crew works past the pre-booked time but the customer refuses to pay you for that extra time then HireAHelper will cover up to one hour of what they owe. Documentation (i.e. calls, emails, text messages, time stamped photos) may be required.

*HireAHelper's coverage for chargebacks plus cancellation fees plus extra hours is capped at $1,000 per company per year.

2. Coverage Assistance

After service provider's initial $150 portion HireAHelper offers coverage assistance of up to $1,000 per order if household goods are damaged because of improper handling or loading. The service provider is responsible for any damages beyond that.

After service provider's initial $150 portion HireAHelper offers coverage assistance of up to up to $1,000 per order for damage to non household goods (floors, walls, etc.) The service provider is responsible for any damages beyond that.

HireAHelper's total combined coverage for standard & elite orders is capped at $10,000 per company per year. Once that limit is hit the service provider is responsible for all subsequent damages.

3. Service Provider co-coverage

Service provider is responsible to cover the first $150 in household good damages and the first $150 in other property damages per order. HireAHelper's $1,000 coverage assistance applies after that.

4. Schedule coverage

Once per year, HireAHelper will find a replacement (and cover the extra cost if needed) for a move you can't cover, or cover the cancellation fee you owe the customer. Min of 2 hrs notice required. We'll continue to do this on subsequent cancellations but standard fees apply

5. Additional insurance

When booking through HireAHelper your customers can purchase full value insurance from MovingInsurance.com. If damages occur as a result of improper handling or loading MovingInsurance.com can subrogate damages to you at $0.60/lb. (You still have recourse to HireAHelper's coverage to help cover subrogations.)

Premium Coverage


Premium Coverage Assistance is required and automatically included on all Standard, Elite, and Movers + Truck orders. HireAHelper will always help cover and resolve issues and damages that occur on these type of orders.
