They were polite and helpful, but not very efficient and moved pretty slowly - ended up taking longer (and costing more) than it should have. They also did not bring a dolly and the company seemed fairly disorganized.

Mover's response:
This review is ridiculous. We clearly talked afterwards. You did not request a dolly so you have yourself to blame for us not bringing one. We are responsible for multiple jobs a day. If you don’t request one there is no guarantee you will get one. Paying for labor is exactly that just labor. When you book us through this platform there is an option to request handtrucks, Dollie’s and handtools for assembly. Your saying we moved inefficiently but failed to mention they had to walk “through a garage parking lot, up a hill and around the corner” to get to the truck and that before we get to your hallways. We provided exactly what you requested a 2man crew. You also failed to mention how you had a bed(20 pieces, 40-50 screws) we disassembled. You also failed to mention you were still packing upon arrival, that you instructed our crew to take pieces out specifically in the order that you requested instead of allowing us to flow freely. We also didn’t even charge you the full time as you tried to text me they were done while you kept asking them to move stuff. Peter and Jaquan are responsible for multiple 5 star reviews. We’ll also add we only loaded your items so based on your comments it’s safe for us to assume we packed effectively and didn’t cause any damage to your items.

They communicated well before arriving. They were prepared and started right. Very proactive in loading the truck. Great positive attitude and answered all my questioned. They were very respectful of my property. I would recommend them.

On one hand, the movers that showed up to load my truck were punctual and just good people all around and the owner was communicative and coordinated the return of a key fob that was accidentally taken after one of the movers left....on the other hand, it didn't seem like the 2 guys that showed up had any experience and it made the day very difficult for me.
I had a one-bedroom condo with plenty of room left in the 26-foot moving truck left after loading up my storage unit the day prior so I was surprised when they had only loaded roughly half of my belongings and said the truck was full. When I looked in, nothing was stacked. They just placed whatever item they brought down on empty floor space and when they ran out of floor space, they said it was full. I ended up stacking as many items as I could while they were there and the owner offered to send another individual to help, but I didn't have a lot of trust in this company to send someone that would help me get out on time. I ended up rushing to get out of there on time and just throwing things in all of the empty space to fit my stuff and get out before the loading dock closed.
The 3 stars seem adequate because, as I said, they were punctual, kind, and communicative, but the effectiveness of the job was definitely lacking and forced a lot of work on my end.

RESPONSE: I'll try to address your brash response clearly, but I'll start by addressing your misguided understanding of my original review; I never said that Quentin and Robert were bad people. In fact, their politeness and promptness were the only reasons that you're company didn't get 1 star. It was the effectiveness of the job that warranted the lower rating.

1. I addressed in my original review why I didn't want someone else from your company to replace him.
2. I did voice my disappointment with them after I noticed what they were doing. That's why I got into the truck, moved stuff out of the way, and started stacking stuff for them while they were still there. However, this caused a lot of rework which is why the job ended up taking so long. They didn't "maximize the efficiency of the space". I had to do that. That's my whole point. Overall, it took me over 6 hours to load a 1 bedroom condo with your company helping for 2 of those hours. That is indicative of inefficiencies which I have addressed.
3. The reason the review is "late" is for a few reasons. First, you never closed out the job. I couldn't start a review until HireAHelper called me to verify that the job was done a week later. Second....I just moved. Writing a review was not high on my priority list.

Your unprofessional response should indicate to future potential clients that you are either unwilling or incapable of receiving constructive criticism and improving your business. Either way, I wouldn't think that it's worth the risk of having to deal with you and that others should take advantage of one of the many other companies out there.

SECOND RESPONSE: You call me a liar but fail to identify a single lie so let me address things yet again.

1. Unfortunately, I can't add pictures to this review. I went ahead and uploaded a picture to my Google review that shows how inefficiently you utilized the space. I packed a storage unit the night before which is why I got the 26-foot truck which is said to be good for 5-7 rooms or a 3-5 bedroom house. I also mentioned this in my initial review so I urge you to read thoroughly before calling someone a liar.
2. You brought unrequested dollies and hand trucks....yes. I never denied that. I did have two dollies from Penske, one for each of your movers in case they didn't bring anything. Is it a lie that you didn't mention that?
3. "Overall, it took me over 6 hours to load a 1 bedroom condo with your company helping for 2 of those hours." Again, this is mentioned in my previous response. Is this difficult for you to understand? Why would I keep paying your company for more hours if the job they had done up to that point forced rework by having to move things further back and stacking in order to fit more in the truck?

I went ahead and lowered my rating by a star as this is a continued experience with your company. And I am fully aware that you have plenty of 5-star reviews; that's why I hired your company. I am also aware that this review is a drop in the bucket. However, I have to be honest with my experience which I have done throughout. I'm glad that others have had a 5-star experience with your company. That's just not even close to the experience I have had.

Mover's response:
This review is insane and disrespectful. A crew member left the job early because they had a family emergency. You were immediately called and asked if you’d like a new crew member to replace him.(This is the reason the key fob needed to be returned because he left in such a rush to pick up his sick sister, the fob was returned within 2 hours). You answered with no and your reason was it’s almost done and there isn’t much left. It is completely irresponsible to illustrate a lack of trust when we showed up on time with unrequested moving equipment(floor Dollies and a handtruck), packed/moved all items with efficiency/care and communicated professionally. Not once did you complain about things being done improperly or our guys being inexperienced. This job was on 8/9 and you just wrote a review on 8/25. Quinton and Robert are experienced movers with plenty of 5 star reviews to show for it. No work was forced upon you as you volunteered yourself to do work when you declined the option to have a new crew member come out. We reject this review in every way possible. Il also add you had packed the truck before we got there. Some of our time was spent rearranging your unorganized packing. To all future clients please don’t start packing. Let’s us pack from beginning to end as we will maximize the efficiency of the space. Last but not least Robert stayed an extra 30 mins (Quinton left 1hr30min into the job). OUR SECOND RESPONSE. Sir you again failed to mention how you prepacked the truck, we didn’t pack the truck from beginning to end. It didn’t take you 6 hours with us as Quinton stayed for 1hr30min while Robert stayed for 2hr30min. We bought unrequested dollies and handtrucks, which means we’re moving multiple items at once or heavy items with ease, yet you say we moved inefficiently. It’s your own fault your job took as long as it did. You started before we arrived and didn’t even allow us to stay and finish the job. As we stated in our first response we reject this review. I would also like to add clients can close out tickets on their own. No one has to wait for us as to close out a ticket, plenty of clients have done so. We can take criticism but we will not accept you lying. Our future clients will see this lone 3 star review suffocated by plenty of 5 star reviews. So you decided to be petty and change your review. Once again not taking any responsibility for your own actions. Your insane sir. Petty enough to ruin our 100% 5 star reviews on Google. Once again your lone review will be surrounded by 5 stars sir.

I had a fantastic experience with the movers. Prior to the move and the day off, they were easily reachable and super communicative. They were both efficient and friendly, getting everything done quickly. They were also really careful with my belongings, which I appreciated a lot.

A crew that shows up on time with energy to work. Our crew members love what we do.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

It’s best if everything is already packed away and to empty any dressers. The drawers in the dressers should be tapped down so they don’t open if not wrapped. Once we arrive sit back and relax.

What types of moves have you handled?

We’ve done all types from local to out of state. From jobs that require one item being moved to jobs that have taking 8hours. We don’t stop until it’s done.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Seeing the smiles we put on people’s’ faces. A lot of our customers are impressed with our packing ability & continuous efforts to stay moving. Nothing better than knowing we made someone life a lot easier & less stressful.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We teach all members our basic packing strategies & moving techniques. Each new member goes on jobs with a certified mover until they themselves become certified mover.
