I was in need of help in moving furniture to a storage unit from our home. I made my reservation with Bow Movers online the day before I needed the help and was delighted that it could actually happen on short notice. The two movers were available ahead of schedule on the date of the job so I was able to free up my day early. I used to move furniture for a living and can easily judge how to correctly move heavy furniture with techniques to make the furniture stable for the transport. The mover who led the job knew exactly what to do with each piece and I was extremely impressed by the care in which the furniture was moved. I would strongly recommend Bow Movers and will use their services in another moving job in the future.

Bow movers were great.
We had delay with getting the truck we rented and asked them to wait a half hour before arriving and they were very flexible.
We had them come primarily to move the heaviest items like an eliptical machine, two couches, dressers, etc. and they were great about it. Would use them again!

First, you should know that Bow Movers is the same company as Sweet Movers.
I had paid for Sweet Movers to show up at noon on a Sat. to load a piece of heavy furniture into a rental van and unload that piece and the rest of the van into a storage unit. A 2 hr. job.
Instead of calling me first thing in the morning and telling me they couldn't do it that day, I had to chase them down by phone and finally at 3:00 pm, Christa, one of the owners told me. It was too late to arrange for another mover to do the work that day, so I had to unload it (I'm disabled).
Then, I had to take a half-day off from work (losing income), and arranged for Bow Movers to only load/unload the 1 piece of furniture. They did disclose that they were the same company as Sweet Movers, so I gave them a 2nd chance. Larry, the other owner, said he was sorry, but didn't give me a break on price because of the problems they had caused. I ended up paying twice as much because of the 2 hr. minimum and it only took 40 minutes to do the job. Larry was happy to take the full payment as I was in a bind.

We needed help moving furniture inside our house. There were a number of bulky, heavy items to be moved up narrow staircases -- in one area of the house through freshly painted walls.
They arrived on time. They were careful of both the furnishings and the walls. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were courteous and respectful. We would use Bow Movers again in a heartbeat.

Bow Movers arrived 30 min. early. They brought needed supplies to do our job of unpacking a 26 foot Penske truck into storage. They were extremely respectful of our property.....treating it like their own and suggesting ways to keep our furniture from getting dirty or damaged during storage and final transfer to a new home. They worked hard. But most of all, they were FUN. They were kind, joking, happy, pleasant. They made a stressful day seem relaxed and easy. They also helped my husband hook our car trailer up to the Penske truck when they were through unloading it (a job my husband couldn't have done alone).

I highly recommend BOW Movers. They were timely, efficient, careful and professional. They were able to accommodate my request to do the job one day earlier than scheduled. All employees were hard-working and courteous, and were earnest about meeting my expectations. They finished the move in less time than I expected, with no damage.

First off, I was very pleased with the Hire a Helper process. I needed the help in three days, which is not very much lead time.
Bow Movers were responsive to my set-up call, when I specifically asked for pads and reiterated that the moving would be meeting at one place, getting stuff out of the basement, putting different stuff IN the basement, and then going with the moving truck to a storage unit to put all the remaining stuff in the unit. They arrived on time.
They did forget the pads, which was too bad.
They were average in their speed of working on the job, until my daughter said all they had to do was handle the moving at the one location and getting the stuff in the truck, then my daughter and her husband would handle the work at the storage unit. At that point, the speed picked up, and they were done by 2:15 (we had booked 1-3). Since our rental truck had to be returned by 3, we needed them to go fast - my daughter and her husband were able to unload the truck at the storage unit and get it back by 3, so everything worked out.

We had two men help load our Pod for two hours. They arrived on time and were very friendly. They even gave us some suggestions on how best to pack and protect our hutch. They worked quickly and loaded the Pod very efficiently. We'll be hiring movers again in a week to load a second Pod and we will definitely go with BOW movers again.
