EP Movers did an excellent job, they showed up on time, worked hard and we even got done earlier than expected. Handled everything with care, highly professional, kind, and courteous. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank y'all so much!

I felt unprepared w/just a truck and blankets. They had straps to secure what they moved. Scheduled between noon and one, they called @ about 11:30 w/ETA of 12:50. I'd use them again.

The two gentlemen were prompt and efficient with loading my moving truck. The truck was properly packed so that nothing shifted during travel. If I were to ever need services in the area I would definitely use EP Movers again!

I gave a great review for the first day. But, I was in the house and they were in the garage. So, now I am worried about what I missed.
1. I found a 1.5 x 1 inch chunk taken out of the paneling of my kitchen counter. It is noticeable and since it is paneling, I am not sure how I can fix it.
2. A flood light was broken and left in a box next to the POD. Broken glass was left on cement. I am upset because they didn’t have the courtesy to tell me, nor did they clean up the broken glass. Every time they went out the door to the POD they walked by a broom and a dust pan. Now, I am worried about how everything has been packed. The flood light was in a light weight cardboard box. It should not have even been out where it could be broken. It should have been packed in a heavier box. I am afraid they were putting it into the pile.
3. I had 6 heavy theater lights that had to be packed. I purchased boxes. I did not realize that in order to get them high enough, they were also very wide. So there was a lot of empty space in the boxes. This was unexpected and slowed up the whole process. I told them I would find stuff to fill up the space. I wasn’t able to fill them up fast enough. So one of them just started picking stuff up and putting it in the boxes. The boxes were like a junk pile of loose stuff. When I saw this, I stopped the person and pulled out the loose stuff. (I have not found my flashlight that I use every night when I take my dog out.). There was one box sealed. I didn’t open it, because it was already sealed and I thought, well, these guys are suppose to know what they are doing, maybe it will be ok. I was wrapping pictures with bubble wrap to put in these boxes. So, I asked the guy filling the big boxes to wrap the pictures and I would work on filling the boxes. I know this will sound crazy, but the first picture he had wrapped, I picked it up to put it in the big box and it stuck to the side of the box. The sticky part of the tape was sticking out not against the bubble wrap. I took him off the pictures and showed him books on a shelf that needed to be put in a smaller box. Rather than getting a smaller box that I could handle at home. He got a bigger box. I had found so many problems with things he had been doing, I just let it go. It was heavy enough, that when he came out of the room, he had to push it on the floor. I had spoken to both of them about how hard it was going to be for me to handle heavy boxes by myself. When I looked at the box, the top did not go down flat. He had tapped it, but an edge of a book was preventing the lid from sitting flat. I opened up the box to straighten out that book and it looked like the books had just been thrown in the box. I had to take all of them out and repack it.
4. Through out, I kept telling them I was worried about putting stuff on top of the big boxes that had the lights. They kept telling me the boxes that I had purchased were strong enough. At the end, they showed me the packing of the POD. It was stacked to the ceiling and only 1/2 full. I still have stuff to put in, but not that much. I am so worried about how they packed it. I would have much rather that they pack the POD so that there is not so much weight on top of the stuff on the bottom (the lights). In addition, I have a heavy duty dolly that I was going to use to finish up after they were gone. But, they packed it in with the rest of the stuff. I didn’t notice that until after they left . When I saw the dolly, I also saw 2 of the cases that had theater equipment (smaller light, microphone). The smaller case is on the bottom and the larger case is on the top. It is difficult to explain, but with the bigger case on top there is 7.5 in on one end that is not supported and 4 inches on one side not supported. I don’t get paid for packing, but I think the larger case should have been on the bottom.
•I am not a complainer. But, when I saw the damaged done to my kitchen counter, I am really upset! On top of that, I am furious with myself because I tipped each one of them $75, At the time, I knew there had been problems but didn’t know the extent of the problems. Now, I am really worried about the condition of everything when it is unloaded. In the past I have always used U-Haul and done things with help from friends. This has definitely not won me over.

Mover's response:
Donna, we apologize for the problems stated above. However, in our defense, there were many long periods of time when you would just have us standing around because you were unsure of what you wanted us to do. We didn’t have enough material nor items to fill every box, even considering the large amount of Nazi memorabilia, it still wasn’t enough to fill the boxes. At some point we realized we had wasted so much time that we just had to start putting stuff in boxes otherwise we’d be there all day waiting for you to get your thoughts in order and let us know what exactly what was going and what needed to be wrapped (as there were many exceptions).
