I was not impressed with Efficient Helper. We hired them to move from a one bedroom apartment in our building, to another unit in the same building.

The booking process was fine, and they confirmed the timing by text and by call, which was good and they did show up on time. So everything was fine in that regard.

Two men showed up, Isaac and someone else (I forgot his name). It was clear that Isaac knew what he was doing and had every intention of getting the job done well. Unfortunately, the guy he brought with him was very slow and lazy; coincidentally, it was the same guy who was bad when we hired Dyson Movers 2 years ago through hire-a-helper. We hired these guys so that they could move our boxes, furniture, and other heavy items. Isaac's helper would grab things like sofa cushions, a chair, and other easy/light items. It seemed like even Isaac was frustrated with his assistant. We only moved out of a one bedroom apartment, so there wasn't a huge amount of work to be done, and yet by the end of the 2 hours, many of our boxes remained in the old apartment, and my whole body was in pain from moving so much of the apartment on my own.

I will not use Efficient Helper again. We specifically hired this company because they weren't the same company we had a negative experience with in the past (Dyson Movers) via Hire-a-Helper, and yet ended up with the same person moving us, so we probably won't use hire-a-helper again. It's too bad, because the website makes the process of hiring labor really easy.

The movers kept me well informed about their arrival at the appointment time. The guys hung in there and stayed busy moving until the last piece was off the truck. Very easy to work with. Great manners.

These guys did a great job. We hired 4 movers for two hours. The guys were about 15 minutes later than when we were expecting them but Isaac had fantastic communication via text to keep us informed. When his team arrived, they worked hard and fast. They worked fast, were professional, and got way more done than we had thought they would get done. They brought there own dollies to take out a bunch of furniture and this worked very well. I would recommend Isaac and his team to anyone looking to hire movers.

The helpers that we hired were a little delayed due to a previous job going longer than expected. However, they communicated their delay and it was still within the window we originally signed up for. They were prepared to work hard and were respectful of our property. They packed our rental truck well and nothing was harmed as we traveled to another state. I would definitely use them again. Great value for the price!

I needed movers to fill a pod on 24 hours notice. Isaac showed up with hid guy and got the job done! It was a relief, otherwise it would never have happened. They didn't move crazy fast, but it was also raining off and on and very wet. They waited out the downpour in their car and started charging me when they came in. I am very grateful for their work.
