I regret the need to submit a negative review on Roblas Service. When I booked the services, they texted me and said to call if I had any questions. I contacted the owner a week ahead of the scheduled service. He was too busy to talk and that's okay. He's running a business. But, he also boasted that his company could move us across country much cheaper than 1-800-Pack-Rat. I said I would consider it and asked him to send me a quote. I never heard back and that lack of follow-through was consistent with Roblas.
Next, I called Hire-A-Helper who acted as our liaison with Roblas. With the help of Hire-A-Helper, I pre-paid for a roll of shrink-wrap, 100 feet, as well as several rolls of tape. I arranged for supplies in advance because Roblas' service does not provide any supplies, except a handcart. (Side note, the crew I hired 3 weeks earlier thru Hire-A-Helper did provide shrink wrap and tape. But, that company did not move heavy objects like the refrigerator or safe, so we could not hire them for this job.)
When Roblas' crew arrived they had no supplies even though I had already been charged $30. Hire-A-Helper suggested I go to the store and buy supplies. I refused to leave the workers unsupervised. The Roblas crew leader said he'd go buy the supplies, saying the place was only 5 minutes away. During his 30 minute absence, the productivity of the unsupervised crew members declined noticeably.
Hire-A-Helper removed the $30 charge for supplies. The crew gave us extra time for the lost half hour. At the conclusion, we ran out of tape and shrink wrap (I paid for a 100 foot roll but he bought a 25 foot roll). The crew packed our things efficiently but NOT carefully. We know they damaged the freezer door of our new refrigerator. What we don't know is whether the freezer door will seal properly enough and keep food frozen. At best, we're facing repairs when we unpack the refrigerator in our new home. At worst, we'll have to replace a very expensive ($4,000) top-of-the-line refrigerator.
I would not recommend Roblas and I would never consider hiring them again.
We are sorry for any inconvenience. We never said we will move you cross country and we never spoke about giving you and estimate since we do not compare prices with any container company. We take responsibility for the wrap since the guys forgot to bring them but we went and we paid the wrap ourselves as well as the tape.

The team from Roblas Services, did an outstanding job. They came on time as promised and were professional and hardworking throughout the process. I had a big home with a lot of square footage, and it took longer than expected to complete the move; however the young men where up to the task, and did not complain at anytime that I'm aware of about the project. My wife and I were completely satisfied with the entire experience.

I think everyone including myself was surprised with all that the Lord has provided us. Two crews of two guys for total of 4 hours got us packed almost completely into a 22’ Penske. Great job guys! I really got my moneys worth. I would definitely recommend you to others in the San Antonio area looking to move!
