The helpers were on time, respectful and worked very hard. I felt bad for them because they were not provided the proper equipment to help make moving the furniture easier for them. I've had other helpers show up properly equipped. As a result of not having the proper equipment my wood floors have a few scratches as does my desk. Please let me know how I go about arranging for you to fix the scratches.

Alta Moving would have earned 5 stars from me except for two things: 1) They called the day before to move their time back and hour, and then were 20 minutes late on top of that. 2) They did not have respect for my work, which I told them prior that I could not answer the phone and that my contractor would tell them what to do. I also told the guy who called earlier that I would release the funds when I got home later that evening after making sure everything was okay. Still, he kept calling and calling. I teach, so I could not answer. It was rude of him to keep calling when I had already told him my time line. When I got home, I saw that they did a great job and I released the funds, just as I said I would. I would use Alta Moving again, but I'd have to be on site because the money was the focus, not the customer service.

Arrived one & one half hours late, didn't bring the shrink wrap for the furniture as asked. The two older men did work hard, my son needed to assist with heavy furniture.

The only thing that was not positive is the communication between the movers and whoever does the scheduling. We were told the helpers would get here between 2:00 and 5:00 so we were planning for that time. When they arrived at 10:30 or so, we were not ready and we could not provide the space they needed to put things when they carried things in. Very personable and cooperative team of Jesus and Ronnie. Thank you!
