The Thunderhorse Moving crew did a great job unloading boxes (many of them filled with books and quite heavy) and furniture and moving it into my condo, managing stairs, difficult angles and tight quarters with ease and working efficiently to get the job done, They were also on time, courteous, and friendly. They definitely made this final leg of my recent move much easier on me than I'd expected it to be. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone planning a move.

I called and complained that I had a lot damaged items, the lady I spoke with from your company offered me 1 hour free labor. Are you kidding me? My office desk was destroyed, my sofa which was less than 1 month old was ruined, my bar has damage and I've literally lost over $1000.00 worth of crystal glasses. I got so aggravated that I just said nothing more. However it's unfair for me to have my stuff damaged without being replaced by your company. I will await a phone call to see how honorable hire a helper is as I have used your company many many times all over the country I would consider myself a very loyal customer and I'm not happy with what took place.

The 3 gentleman who arrivwd were courtesy and respectful. The move all the furniture, boxes and other items in record time. The packed the PODS container to perfection. Jose and Eduardo were wonderful. They did a fantastic job loading the uhaul truck for me in the pouring rain. They were expert at using every available space, and made sure fragile items were well protected. I definitely recommend them and would use them again.

ThunderHorse Moving Co was extremely professional from the confirmation phone call from Jorge Salinas to the timely arrival of the movers, all the way to the completion of the job. I needed a 12' POD container filled so I hired 2 movers for 2 hours. I was pleasantly surprised when a foreman, Steven, came along to do the heavy lifting as well as oversee that the job was done perfectly. With the 3 of them working non-stop, the POD was loaded in 1.5hrs! I am definitely going to use them to unload when our renovation is completed.

Huge disappointment. I hired this company to pack my belongs into a POD 6 months ago. The workers they they sent to UNpack my things, were not the same. They were terrible. 1. Respectful of my goods? NO. Unless you call leaving an oily drill on the mattress they just unwrapped respectful. They were childish and immature, did not bring the proper equipment to move a treadmill. (It was listed on the order. ) so they placed it on a very small square of wood with wheels. And, as they couldn't get it to move straight (the equipment was obviously not correct for the job) they constantly turned it. Which, ended up in one of the "boys" running in circles around it, giggling and laughing. I was waiting for it to fall.... One felt the fridge would fit thru one door, the other the other door. NEITHER had a tape measure. So I had to get mine. They were reluctant to unwrap and put some things back together, with an attitude of "oh, oh, alright". They didn't even dress appropriately one stood there, shivering and rubbing his hands together "it's cold" instead of helping the other worker. Immature. Not respectful. Poor work ethic. When I pay over 200 dollars an hour, I EXPECT PROFESSIONALS. If I wanted boys, I would have hired the neighbor kids for 10 dollars an hour. NO I would not recommend them. Oh yes, the grease stains on the freshly painted walls.... Oh yes, and numerous reminders, not to drag my antique and collectable wood furniture across the floor of pod, or across the floor of house. I would cringe each time they'd just pull something towards the front of the pod. Hire the neighbor kids, save yourself a lot of money.

They showed up on time and we're friendly. They did NOT take good care of my household goods. They failed to wrap a wood leaf for my dining table and it is rubbed completely through the finish in two places. They failed to protect the base of a wooden mirrored cabinet and it is badly marred and dented. They offered to pack some expensive Bose stereo equipment for which I had saved the original box. I allowed them to pack it but asked them to use the box which was sitting next to the equipment, and said if they had any trouble figuring it out to ask me. They said it wouldn't be a problem, they could figure it out. What they did was to take out and tear up the specifically shaped Styrofoam packing, and jam the speakers all in together with a bunch of other equipment, and to raise the flaps up and sort of tape the flaps up over the top of the what looks like the very large sub-woofer from another system. The sub-woofer must be on top of the other speakers and who knows what else. I haven't been able to dig my way back to that box yet to find out what it looks like. (Of note, I had plenty of extra boxes and packing material. There was NO need to scrimp.) I haven't had time to unwrap all of the furniture they did wrap yet so I don't know all of the results yet. They at first said the truck I rented was plenty big, and then right at the end of the day said they couldn't fit it all in and I'd have to leave some things behind. I'm going back this weekend to get the rest of the stuff, and making the 11 hour drive again. Finally, during the day-before-the-move phone call, Jorge talked me into a fourth person, whom I paid for separately, saying this guy really needed the work. I think the fourth person had zero experience and while he worked hard, did not understand what was going on. He is the one who "packed" the speakers and destroyed the box. I would not hire Thunderhorse, nor will I likely use Hire-a-Helper again.
