Workers expected between 2 and 4 PM but arrived at 9:30 PM.
Order was placed at 8: AM, so not too bad considering the short notice. Workers dis a fine job with the task.

The two young men who provided service to us were polite, respectful and prepared for the job.
However, they seemed to spend a fair amount of time hanging out and talking about how things would be moved, or with one telling the other to move an item.
Their energy and effort was significantly less than what we saw with the providers on the other end of our journey.
We will be moving the remainder of our furniture sometime in the future. If I use them again, I will be clearer on my expectations of them. If I use them again, my hope is that the review will be better.

My only complaint was that they were very unreliable on the time of service. I never received confirmation from the company that they would be available to move me on the designated day. I called multiple times to make sure they would be, never heard back until the day of the actual move. Called them early in the morning, they said they had some jobs to do that morning and they would call me once they were finished. They then called me back and said that there was another move that they had forgotten and pushed me back even more. Long story short they did not get to my apartment until about 8:45 pm. The move was done by 11 pm. On their defense, it was a very busy week in Boston- all apartments generally open Sept. 1st for new tenants. Other than the fact that they were very unreliable with time, they took very good care of my belongings and were especially patient with my larger items- I only had a tiny elevator that could fit boxes, and a very narrow stair case that they had to bring things up to the fifth floor in. They also did not charge me for the extra hour (over the scheduled 2). I would use them again, just be prepared to have patience.

These guys were awesome, and on top of it they had a great sense of humor.
Moving in on Boston's peak day and with them having a few other moves to do, these guys did awesome. nothing dropped or screeched or anything like that.

The team was on site early and ready to work. I showed them the items to be moved and where the locations in the house where they were going. They started immediately and followed directions completely. The task was finished ahead of time with no damage to any walls in the house or to any furniture or items. I would definitely use AAMT again and recommend them to our friends. Thank you AAMT!
