3 Tim S, Little Rock AR reviewing Labor Ready 4/27/2012 The guys were on time and professional. However, be prepared to tell them exactly what needs to be done. I hired them to help me load my moving truck. They are not professional movers and had no idea how to load a truck. They were not properly equipped to move heavy furniture (however, I knew that in advanced). I would not hiread morere them again to help me move. However, I might hire them to do general work around the house. Again, if it's just muscle you're looking for these guys will do fine. But if you're hiring them to help you move be prepared to supervise how the truck is loaded. If you're not prepared to do that, hire professional movers. :-)
5 Joe P, Round Lake IL reviewing Labor Ready 3/31/2012 The workers were late, due to some unexpected circumstances. However, upon showing up, they did a spectacular job moving our household items. They showed up fully prepared and their service and attitudes were exceptional. Moreover, they were very delicate and responsible when handling our property. I would definitely use Laboread morer Ready again.
5 Judy E, Richland WA reviewing Labor Ready 3/30/2012 These men were here on time and worked very hard. They were friendly and respectful of our home. They were easy to talk with and did their job well. Would recommend them and use them again.
4 Richard W, Spokane WA reviewing Labor Ready 3/24/2012 Great job. Right on time and had absolutely no damage. Thank you.
1 Neil D, Columbia MO reviewing Labor Ready 3/24/2012 Didn't show.
5 Donald T, Parkesburg PA reviewing Labor Ready 3/23/2012 I would definitely recommend these two men, both hard working, efficient and careful.
5 Don T, Parkesburg PA reviewing Labor Ready 3/22/2012 Both men exceeded my expectations, which allowed me to depart exactly when I wanted to. Both were extremely courteous and professional, and I would highly recommend either or both of them for any kind of labor need.
5 Anna E, Yakima WA reviewing Labor Ready 3/3/2012 this is the first time i hired helpers and i was very satisfied with their work. the helpers were so polite. i did not hear any complaint. they were quick yet kept my stuff from being damaged.
2 Ashley H, North Charleston SC reviewing Labor Ready 2/29/2012 PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO CHOOSE THEM... The first two helpers to arrive were horrible. They called 3 hours prior to the time requested and told me that they were at the house. I was out picking up the rental truck and was going to be back at the time requested for service. I told them to come back at the time requeread morested. When we returned after picking up the rental truck they were there at our house. There was an older gentleman and a younger man. The both picked up the lightest items and consistently did not listen to us when we told them what we wanted in the truck first. The older man kept walking in and out of the house with no items wasting time. When they took the items out they just threw them in with no respect for our items. I called Hire a Helper and urgently requested new helpers after half an hour of their help. Those men were horrible and couldn't even lift a chair. New helpers arrived and they were decent. The one man kept saying lets do it this way after countless times telling them to listen to us. They broke our fridge after bouncing it down the stairs. They did work hard but kept taking smoking breaks after again countless times of us saying to move it or lose it! They threw our stuff in the truck after about 3 hours past and bent lamps and shelves and ruined our new mattress set after throwing it in the truck and dragging it on the ground. I contacted Hire a Helper about this crazy day of trying to get good helpers and they have no insurance to cover what these men broke and damaged. **** Do not go through this company if you are in a rush because what you request they ignore. Weeks before the move I told them what we wanted and needed and they ignored that and sent us old weak men! I read the reviews and thought, well maybe it was just a one time event and they had a good rate $$$. !!!!!!I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN EVER!!!!!!
5 Michael F, Durham NC reviewing Labor Ready 2/29/2012 Hirehelpers made it easy and fast for me to calculate my labor expense and plan my project. Everything was handled by text and email so I didn't have to do any phone calling. The laborer's were good and the price was right. I will use Hirehelpers again and I recomend the service. Mike Franke R-tron America Inc. Overland Paread morerk, Kansas
1 Richard P, Odessa TX reviewing Labor Ready 2/27/2012 I lined them up a week in advance. They were suppose to arrive between 9-10am. No one showed up. They did not even call to let me know. When I called they said they would get right back with me. Two hours later they were still making excuses. I canceled them and got someone else who showed up immediately and did a great joread moreb.
4 John C, Surfside Beach SC reviewing Labor Ready 2/25/2012 They arrived called 30 minutes early and came to work EARLY!!! (loved it). One of the guys was a little older and I was concerned but he made it OK.
5 Marissa S, Savannah GA reviewing Labor Ready 2/11/2012 Great job!!!!
1 Bob H, Mc Calla AL reviewing Labor Ready 2/3/2012 Workers showed up late and left one hour early. Complained thru out the stay and failed to provide the service that was requested. They were contracted to unload and set-up funiture but stated that they were only informed to unload. When they were advised to set up bedroom the response was that they didn't know how!

5 John E, Mission TX reviewing Labor Ready 1/20/2012 Movers did a great job.
5 Clendon J, Oviedo FL reviewing Labor Ready 1/14/2012 The gentlemen lead by Pedro were there early and were completely aware of my need to work briskly. Througout the move those four move my items where requested and with care. I totally recommend this process as I felt assured of the safety of my family knowing they are bonded individuals and not just some off the street. I'm gladread more I made the choice to use this service. Thank you!!! C.Jordan Oviedo, FL
5 Rachel V, Salt Lake City UT reviewing Labor Ready 1/7/2012 Moving really does top my list of most hateful things to do! Honestly though, I was so impressed, and relieved, to have the two capable, professional, polite, but warm and personable men show up to help me. Seriously, I couldn't have done it without them, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing assistance wread moreith moving. Those two guys were absolutely indispensable. My sincerest thanks to them!
1 LAVERNA R, Midland TX reviewing Labor Ready 1/7/2012 Beginning to feel that Labor Ready is not ready to accept the responsibilities of their employees damaging a customers property. The 2 men showed up drunk and was throwing the boxes and furniture unloading a haul truck, then on top of this they did a dope deal in front of us. We asked them to leave. the mental anguish and the read moreheart ache of not being able to replace my grandmothers and mothers table is too much and then your property damage department will not return calls either, pacified through emails is not getting anything taken care of,the customer is the one who pays your salary, Labor Ready/True Blue/Hire a Help didn't hesitate getting there monies off my credit card. I HOPED this Would be resolved. I have taken the steps to get this resolved. Mr. Tony Brown said he was sending a check to cover the $950.00 worth of valuables that was damaged. but that was on 2/9/12 and the check as of today has not come in the mail yet and he will not answer my emails. 5 Mary H, Lehigh Acres FL reviewing Labor Ready 1/7/2012 Absolutely wonderful pair of movers. The arrived early for the job (a very welcome surprise) They were very professional and they worked the entire time. They carefully unloaded our moving truck. We would have been at a disadvantage without their help. They even helped us push our broken down truck into the garage. I will defread moreinitely use this service again for my next move. I can personally recommend them to anyone. As a mater of fact, I already gave Hire a Helper a referral to a coworker.
4 Mohammad A, Boise ID reviewing Labor Ready 1/7/2012 They are fast and careful on my stuff.
2 Jennifer G, Fort Pierce FL reviewing Labor Ready 1/6/2012 The movers didn't treat my belongings with care and actually broke a few things. One of the movers had a major attitude towards the last hour.
5 Diana L, Huntington WV reviewing Labor Ready 1/3/2012 I was very impressed with the labor, which consisted of a gentleman and lady. They were there on time and started to load immediately. They were very efficient and loaded the truck in such a way nothing fell during the trip to Virginia. Hire A Helper/Labor Ready made my move easier.
4 Premium Energy S, Catonsville MD reviewing Labor Ready 12/22/2011 Great Great Great. They were on time, Yes They were prepared for the job, yes They really worked hard They were very respectful of property and googs I WILL definately use them again.
4 Gary R, Bend OR reviewing Labor Ready 12/22/2011 They were on time they worked hard the whole time they were there and were very respectful of my property and home.
3 Valeria Y, Stuart FL reviewing Labor Ready 12/6/2011 The people they sent did a good job, however, I don't believe that they had much moving experience and since we specifically requested people whom are ready and able and experienced with moving, I was disappointed because items were not loaded into my moving truck very well and things got damaged and as much as we tried to superread morevise and direct, it was a challenge since we were dealing with people who had the strength but not the know how and we had a lot of stuff. They could do a better job of screening their helpers to assign them to appropriate type of working environment. The offices were cordial and professional and they guys worked hard and long.
5 Joe B, Republic MO reviewing Labor Ready 12/3/2011 Helper was on time and prepared for the job. He worked hard and was respectful of our property and family. I'd use them again.
5 Andrew L, Le Mars IA reviewing Labor Ready 12/2/2011 The help showed up early, and they worked hard for the entire time I had them. I definitely and already recommend them to my friends for moving.
5 GALEN S, Saint Paul MN reviewing Labor Ready 12/2/2011 The workers were great. They were hard working and they did a good job packing the truck and making sure that we got as much stuff in as possible. Thanks!
5 Lisa R, Victoria TX reviewing Labor Ready 11/29/2011 On time, called me before I called them! Professional and courteous! No damages!!! Great job I will certainly use them again! Thanks and happy holidays!
3 Connie H, Benton AR reviewing Labor Ready 11/28/2011 They showed up on time and were ready to work. The only problem i had was they did not understand that the truck needed to be loaded front to back top to bottom...we had a lot of wasted space on the truck They were friendly and respectful of our property I would use the service again and moniter the loading of the truck mread moreore closely
5 Susan K, Lexington SC reviewing Labor Ready 11/28/2011 Workers were great!!!! Hard working, quick and very careful with our belonging!!! 100% recommend.
5 Shirley C, Saratoga Springs NY reviewing Labor Ready 11/25/2011 We used Labor Ready to help us move three hours away to another state. They arrived on time and got right to work. The quality of the work was excellent. Very happy with the work performed. Yes, I would use them again.
2 Jeffrey R, Columbus OH reviewing Labor Ready 11/25/2011 We hired two helpers from Labor Ready for four hours to help us with our move last weekend, and we were very disappointed to discover that the workers we hired did not know anything about moving. Although both men were kind and polite, they just didn't seem to know what they were doing or want to work very hard. One of theread more men was hard to motivate and did not seem interested in working--especially not quickly. We had to keep asking him to carry boxes and not just stand around shifting boxes from one end of the truck to the other. I had to remind him more than a couple of times that we needed him to move the boxes that were stacked up in our apartment. The other man was more helpful, though neither of them were what I expected. We ended up having to destroy our couch because your guys got the couch stuck in the hallway and after repeated attempts, could neither move the couch forwards nor backwards. In the process, they put several large gouges in the wall, which we will have to repair. They dropped and scraped our file cabinet and washing machine, leaving very large marks on our belongings, and tried to drag our recliner chair through grass and mud. We could have done a better job ourselves, and will never ever hire anyone through your company again. Our friends who helped us move were just as unimpressed, and I am quite certain that they would never hire anyone through your company, based on the service we received.
4 Barry E, Buford GA reviewing Labor Ready 11/19/2011 Arrived a few minutes early ready to work. Did a good job and performed as requested. Kept them over and no complaints. Will definitley use the service and the workers again next week.
5 Richard B, Lillian AL reviewing Labor Ready 11/19/2011 excellent workers who kept at it even though it rained for the entire 4 hrs of moving.
4 Jeanne H, Mount Pleasant SC reviewing Labor Ready 11/18/2011 The guys were waiting for me when I arrived with the rented truck. They really weren't in shape to move furniture up and down stairs and on and offload the truck but they persevered and got the job done. I will use HireAHelper again but I will be specific about the qualifications I need.
1 Robin H, Madison AL reviewing Labor Ready 11/14/2011 I hired 2 men from this I was assured they had. Moved furniture before into a moving truck, needless to say the first 2 men came half an hour late , as we where waiting for truck to be parked where they could load it they just sat there smoking cigerettes the older gentleman took 3 smoke breaks in 30 minitues , I called the 800read more number to see what I could do , the told me to send the older man home and there would b a replacement, 2.5 hrs later after I helped move stuff for over an hour in the truck the other helper came, they complained the whole time they where moving my stuff, saying how heavy it was smoking as they moved my couch , broke the door of my front loader washing machine , beat half my walls up then broke the leg off my couch, after awhile me and my daughter ( which is 12) was watching them put are stuff in the truck they where literally just throwing it , it looked like a Childs room u just told to clean up everything tittering , I ask them to stop my daughter was in tears I told the men everything me and my daughter own was on that truck and it was getting all beat up , they replied I have seen worse they didn't pit half my stuff on the truck because everything was pitched in lik it was a dumpster me and my daughter stayed up half the night taking the stuff out and fixing it so we could get are other belonging in the truck . I have never been so disappointed in my life I wouldn't recommend this company for anything they obioviusly don't screen there workers.
1 John J, Tacoma WA reviewing Labor Ready 11/12/2011 Hired 2 workers for 3 hours. The job was to start at 10am. No show for first crew. I even got a call the day before ensuring someone was coming. By 12:15pm 2 more guys showed up. They were ready to work, but not experienced movers. By the first loaded truck, 1.5 hours later, it was let's talk football and cell phone time. A read moregood hour wasted on repeat phone calls and thinking on ways to load furniture. When damage to stair rails and furniture occurred comments like "it's not that bad" and "they will get over it" were stated. I will hire real professional next time. I ended up havind to rent a truck the next day and move the rest with friends...
5 Lisa S, Fargo ND reviewing Labor Ready 11/12/2011 They were on time, prepared, worked very hard and did no damage to any items. I would use them again. They were better than the last few times when I used a moving company.
5 Lisa S, Grand Forks ND reviewing Labor Ready 11/12/2011 They were on time, prepared, worked very hard and did no damage to any items. I would use them again. They were better than the last few times when I used a moving company.
5 Penny B, Louisville KY reviewing Labor Ready 11/8/2011 On time. Followed directions very well. Respectful. Would use again.
5 Phillip H, Charleston SC reviewing Labor Ready 11/3/2011 they were very nice and good workers.
5 Michelle C, Waterloo IA reviewing Labor Ready 10/30/2011 They were actually early to make sure they were on time. They were really good at lifting everything needed to go in the truck. There was one guy that was very hard working and the other was just not ready to come to work that day. The one guy worked very hard and I would recommend him anywhere and everywhere to be used. The othread moreer not so much.
2 Michael C, Madison TN reviewing Labor Ready 10/24/2011 They were ready and waiting when the truck arrived. A huge plus. Both men were very nice and polite. We soon discovered, we had only one man who knew how to move most things. The other man was totally lost and confused thru half of the time they were here. He did try very hard. However he had apprently never been trained how toread more lift and carry items. I knew more about moving things at the age of 12. Then this young man did. When they were moving my dresser and china cabinet I could not bear watch them. They almost dropped both items several times. I rented a two wheeler for them to use but it never was used. A shame because I know it would have helped them get everything unloaded. My fiance had to give them advice several times. He was a mover in Chicago when he was younger. The older man worked very hard but he took way to many cigerette breaks for a 4 hr period. Yes I am a smoker. The biggest problem that both of them had was neither of them knew how to stack boxes. They would place a 12" square box between 2 - 18" by 2' large boxes. Putting the the light weight ones under the heavy ones. I was constintly going behind them and restacking the boxes. I repeatedly warned them that I had glass items in the boxes and that they were very expensive. I have only gone through about a dozen boxes and found 6 pieces broken. One of the items was a tea pot of my grandmothers. It was one of a few things that were passed down to me of hers and is impossible to ever replace. I dread openning the rest of the boxes. While I would rehire them if I was moving a business that had only paper, metal cabinets and metal desks. I will never rehire them to move my home again. Also if you are going to send a trainie out. You should not count him as one of the workers sent out to do the job. Especially when they are clueless. I don't think this one has even moved his own dresser accross the room. You offer a great service to the public. At very reasonable prices. Your employees need to be evaluated better so you know what they can do and more importantly can't do.
5 Joseph A, Bossier City LA reviewing Labor Ready 10/17/2011 On time and able to pack out some fragile furniture with no damage at the end of trip. Thanks
5 Gerald W. J, Chattanooga TN reviewing Labor Ready 10/15/2011 Arrived on time and ready to work.Worked very hard and took great care of our property. Will use them again if the occasion arises.
5 Bruce O, Tulsa OK reviewing Labor Ready 10/14/2011 DId a great job....Im afraid we were the ones that were disorganized :)
2 Thomas M, Andover KS reviewing Labor Ready 10/12/2011 I hired two folks to unload a uHaul into a storage unit. One guy was fantastic, a very hard worker and was able to think on his feet. The other showed up with an injured hand hand - obviously a problem carrying boxes! Since it was a two hour job, no time to call and get a sub. So we forged ahead though I had to do more lifting tread morehat I wanted because the one guy was not of much use. (I threw my back out as a result.) Called Labor Ready, the apologized but didn't offer to compensate me. Call HireAHaleper and they were able to intervene. Should have been on Labor Ready to make the proactive solution.
3 Thomas H, Cumberland Foreside ME reviewing Labor Ready 10/12/2011 These guys were just OK. They needed a lot of direction to move my air conditioners into the cellar thru an outside access way. You certainly could not just leave them alone to do the work
5 Priscilla K, Franklin TN reviewing Labor Ready 10/12/2011 I hired two people from Labor Ready to do some landscaping work. They arrived on time, were polite, worked the entire time and got the job done. I am very happy with their work and would use Labor Ready again if I needed work done.
5 Charles B, Chattanooga TN reviewing Labor Ready 10/4/2011 Great crew. All 4 guys worked hard and quickly. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others. Thanks!
3 Roger G, Melbourne/West Viera FL reviewing Labor Ready 9/28/2011 I hired two guys for 4 hours to unload a moving POD that contained furniture and household goods. One of the guys was outstanding and really hustled and was very professional. The other guy was lazy, couldn't hustle if his life depended on it, and although not a requirement, had ZERO personality, which made me feel bad for himread more. Then low and behold, Mr. Personality put my "As seen on TV" furniture moving pads/sliders in his pocket and left. To their credit, they called me to let me know they had accidently taken my equipment. Then a call from Labor Ready ensured that I would get them back right away...here we are over a week later, my equipment is still missing. They did "OK"...if I would have had two of the good guy they would have done awesome. I guess it's hit and miss with these folks. You never know what you're going to get. I used them once before and had two great guys that worked very hard and were very pleasant and professional. Good Luck!
2 Christine A K, Salt Lake City UT reviewing Labor Ready 9/26/2011 I had read that if they had to disassemble anything, that I would have to provide the tools. I didn't know they would show up without even a dolly. They were very slow and spent a lot of time on smoking breaks. I would not use them again.
3 Ryan H, Peoria IL reviewing Labor Ready 9/24/2011 One guy work fine but the other guy was lazy
2 Saronna L, Chattanooga TN reviewing Labor Ready 9/24/2011 The helpers were at least 30 minutes late getting to the job. The would disappear for long periods of time with absolutely no communication with me as to why. They were unprepared for moving furniture. Did not bring any tools to do the job. Now I get a charge for an extra hour of work, which they did not do. I will never usread moree Labor Ready again!!!
4 Linda B, Bakersfield CA reviewing Labor Ready 9/22/2011 They did not introduce themselves to me, so I do not have names to go with this review. However, they arrived on time and unloaded at one home and loaded at another in a timely manner. They were always careful with my things and they packed in an efficient way to get the most items loaded. I would use this company again.
5 David P, Grand Forks ND reviewing Labor Ready 9/19/2011 Great couple of guys who were on time and had great knowledge of the easiest way to get the job done. Hard workers who took of my property and certainly would recommend them to anyone in the area.
5 Megan M, Tomball TX reviewing Labor Ready 9/17/2011 Very professional, actually showed up early, and got the job done very efficiently. Would definitely recommend to others.
2 Fred R, Haymarket VA reviewing Labor Ready 9/16/2011 They showed up a few minutes late. One person could not speak or understand English. The younger person worked hard and was helpful. I would not use them again.
4 Jeffrey K, Middle River MD reviewing Labor Ready 9/10/2011 Thankfully these guys were sent as plan b when the first company absolutely failed. They did a good job assisting with the move and they were nice guys. No wonder why this company costs more because you do certainly get what you pay for.
5 Brendan S, Hamden CT reviewing Labor Ready 9/9/2011 Both Leon and Dana were terrific. They arrived ahead of time ready to go, and worked straight through till the job was done. They even tried to take items away from me, arguing that it was their job to do the move, not mine! They were respectful of my things, and knew how to load a truck efficiently. They also never objectedread more or complained even though the project was actually two different jobs and wnet an hour over the expected time frame. I'd love to use them again in a heartbeat!
5 Eric S, Chicago IL reviewing Labor Ready 9/4/2011 Robert & Kenny showed up on time. We went over the scope of work and they were eager to take direction and get started. Their work was careful and efficient. By days end it became apparaent that we could not complete all in one day. They agreed to come back the next day (a holiday). Nice people and great workers. Highly recomread moreended!
4 Charlie G, Johnson City TN reviewing Labor Ready 9/3/2011 The guys showed up on time, ready to work. Nothing was damaged other than one of the worker's hand that got cut on a nail. It was a good job done by these guys. I will use this service again when needed.
5 Michele K, Fargo ND reviewing Labor Ready 9/3/2011 The guys were on time. They worked hard and they were very careful with our furniture and boxes. I will use them again when it's time to move again.
5 Sande W, Covington GA reviewing Labor Ready 9/2/2011 Gerald & Bobby were par excellence! They were on time, ready to jump right in & work hard. Beyond the hard work, they were personable & kind men. I would use them again in a heartbeat. I appreciate your company!
3 Harry N, Birmingham AL reviewing Labor Ready 9/1/2011 They did not perform as much of the work as was expected. One worker (Kevin) was a good worker, the other (Cecil) was not, and slacked off alot. Cecil bumped into my windows a couple of times and I had to admonish him. The Company's managers were good to work with. I believe if they had other workers on the job, I would have hadread more more work done and would have been satisfied with the total effort.
1 Danielle C, Stamford CT reviewing Labor Ready 8/31/2011 I worked harder than they did. I will never use them again. Their name should be LABOR NOT READY!!!!!!
4 Paul D, Pittsburgh PA reviewing Labor Ready 8/30/2011 I hired two helpers for four hours. One of them was outstanding (Nate), but the other was late, didn't seem to know how to move boxes on a utility dolly, and had to be closely supervised. Fortunately Nate picked up on that and I didn't have to worry. I'd use them again (they were cheap), but with the knowledge that the help I geread moret may be hit or miss.
4 Jan M, Tyler TX reviewing Labor Ready 8/27/2011 The two young men that helped me move were very helpful! I could not have done it without them!
4 Bettye G, Chesapeake VA reviewing Labor Ready 8/26/2011 The service was great!
4 Cecilia M, Lake Charles LA reviewing Labor Ready 8/24/2011 They showed up before the time. It was hot that day and the storage unit was not as air conditioned as I thought it was and it was a slow go due to the heat. I would hire them again.
2 Ivette P, South Jordan UT reviewing Labor Ready 8/21/2011 When I filled out the information detailing what needed to be moved, I thought it was for the purpose of letting them know weight, size, and amount so they could send out the appropriate movers for the job. That is not what happened, I got movers that were ill prepared for the task at hand. One of the movers was physically unablread moree to complete the job. When I tried to cancel, the movers advised me they were already on the job so it was too late to cancel. When I called Hire A Helper they informed me that I could have canceled the job! I had to hire other movers to complete the job that Labor Ready was unable to complete. I was however satisfied with how Hire A Helper resolved the problem.
1 Timothy T, Oklahoma City OK reviewing Labor Ready 8/18/2011 Very pleasant workers, but took 12 hours to move my two bedroom apt. I do not recommend Labor Ready. Go with Hire a Helper or another professional moving company.
1 Timothy T, Oklahoma City OK reviewing Labor Ready 8/18/2011 Very pleasant workers, but took 12 hours to move my two-bedroom apt. I do not recommend Labor Ready. Go with Hire a Helper or another professional moving company.
5 Heather B, Birmingham AL reviewing Labor Ready 8/14/2011 The guys who came were great. They even hauled some stuff away for us. I wish that I had written down their names so i could personally send them a thank you card.
5 Candy D, Midlothian VA reviewing Labor Ready 8/11/2011 These two gentlemen wer God sends. They were both very professional and cordial throughout the entire move in process. They are very dedicated and detail oriented. Their excellent work ethics were demonstrated with the care and attention they provided for our belongings. I can not say enough about the service and these two mread moreen. I would not only recommend them but not think twice to welcome them back. They arrived early and worked hard, no complaints were ever spoken about the stairs and weight of the boxes. I want to say thank you to both of them and the company that provided them. Thank You!!!!! Sincerely, Candy Dunavan
1 Karen M, Charleston WV reviewing Labor Ready 8/4/2011 I hired this service to pack a moving truck because I did not want to have to touch anything. They sent me a female, who was actually great, but stood about 5ft tall, and a male who was much taller then the female, had to be told exactly what to do, and simply stood around if he was not being told what to move next. I had been tread moreold that if I was not satisfied with the help that was sent to me I could call and have replacements. When I called I was told tthat they did not know if they had someone else to send. I had a rental truck and was on a time line so changing plans was not a possibility! I pretty much loaded the truck! Would not recommend this company for anything!! Ya get what ya pay for and even though I paid high dollar, they pay the help very little.
4 Keith R, Blue Springs MO reviewing Labor Ready 8/1/2011 We had two Labor Ready helpers to load a 26' moving van. One helper was young and had little experience with this type of work. He was a willing, hard worker but required a lot of direction. The other gentleman was much older and had a difficult time lifting heavy items and was in poor physical condition for this kind of manuread moreal labor. When I made the request I informed Labor Ready of the type of work to be performed.
5 Jonathan M, El Paso TX reviewing Labor Ready 8/1/2011 The two laborers were great and worked hard. Labor ready kept good track of our progress. Overall I was very pleased
5 Dottie W, Lexington SC reviewing Labor Ready 7/31/2011 Marcus and William were extremely professional and very hard working. We moved in 100 degree weather and they never complained or stopped for too long of a time. They carefully planned out how to fit everything into the truck and even left room available for our last minute things to add. They were both awesome, and we will dread moreefinitely use Hire a Helper again!!
5 Mohammad M, College Station TX reviewing Labor Ready 7/30/2011 Although there was a glitch at the beginning, but evrything went smoothly. The workers were on time, and they worked very hard and were very careful with my furniture. I would definitely use them again in the future.
5 Ron N, Cedar Falls IA reviewing Labor Ready 7/30/2011 We had an excellent experience with HireAHelper and Labor Ready. They were hard, hard workers, didn't even want to take breaks and it was over 90 degrees. They were cheerful and didn't complain and we just had a great experience with the whole move.
5 Ben T, Waukesha WI reviewing Labor Ready 7/29/2011 I was a little concerned when the two gentleman from Labor Ready showed up to load our moving truck. They were both a little older then someone you would expect to be doing manual labor. I have to say though, they were two of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. They showed up on time and got the job done in less time then wread moree thought it would take. I will absolutely use HireAHelper again they next time we need help moving.
5 Matt T, Greenwood IN reviewing Labor Ready 7/29/2011 Awesome help! I was very impressed with the speed of the movers. They were on time. I thought I had a lot of heavy stuff, yet they moved it carefully and quickly. I highly suggest them!!
5 Karla G, Tuscaloosa AL reviewing Labor Ready 7/27/2011 Arrived on time. ( I was late!). They both worked hard and finished my move on time. Would definitely use again. Nice job.
3 Nova C, Auburn AL reviewing Labor Ready 7/25/2011 Helper was very nice but had not really been informed about what the job was and wasn't really prepared for the labor. It was a last minute thing since apparently my order had not been put through to the local company until I called that morning wondering where my help was.
5 Patty J, Bakersfield CA reviewing Labor Ready 7/23/2011 Rodger Areyano, He was early to his shift, willing to help anyone anywhere, self motivated, self starter, beyond our expectations, He was curtious, polite, well mannered, very friendly. Rodger was very prepared for his tasks and even went beyond. I would diffinently want him back but I hope you can find him a full time job, hread moree well deserves it. Patti Jewell - Branch Manager
5 Steven K, Blackstone MA reviewing Labor Ready 7/23/2011 The two guys showed up on time ready for work, and did a great job of it despite the near 100-degree weather. Both were kind, courteous, and very friendly, and showed great care in handling the items to be loaded and unloaded. Highly recommended!
5 James L, Alameda CA reviewing Labor Ready 7/23/2011 Great job overall -- showed up on time, worked hard. Thanks again!
5 Karyn C, Muskego WI reviewing Labor Ready 7/23/2011 The two young men you sent to help unload my moving van arrived promptly and worked non stop. They were very careful and quite capable. There was no damage and they finished a full hour before I expected them to. I would highly recommend them on future jobs. They helped make a very stressful move much easier. Thank you.
3 Ralph F, Front Royal VA reviewing Labor Ready 7/21/2011 I hired one worker for 4 hours to help me move furniture. Pro = The worker arrived on time (in fact he was early), worked diligently, and followed instructions. He was pleasant enough. Con = He was sometimes careless and seemed to lack common sense. He broke a desk, and didn't even apologize or express regret. He trieread mored to pick it up by himself (instead of waiting a few seconds for me to get the other end of it), dropped it, and it broke. He stacked things in such a way that they were sure to fall over. He couldn't seem to work very long before needing a "smoke break." Overall, he was a nice enough fellow, and arrived on time. But he wasn't careful, and I still have a broken desk.
5 Paul K, Townsend MA reviewing Labor Ready 7/19/2011 The crew showed up on time & worked like crazy to move all of the items. They were also very polite. We were very happy with the service.
1 Rachel S, Indianapolis IN reviewing Labor Ready 7/16/2011 We had an absolutely awful experience! We used 4 men from Labor Ready to help us move and they literally destroyed our walls and furniture. They had no respect whatsoever for our things and caused serious damage to our house. One man left for over an hour and another man smelled of alcohol. I would absolutely not recommend Lread moreabor Ready.
5 Nina B, North Providence RI reviewing Labor Ready 7/16/2011 The men who helped me move were a great help. They were early, worked hard, and made the move super easy. I would recommend them to others.
5 Will M, League City TX reviewing Labor Ready 7/13/2011 They did a good job
1 Kathy B, Boynton Beach FL reviewing Labor Ready 7/9/2011 Easy process with HireAHelper.com. But very dissatisfied with the workers from Labor Ready, the one worker was upset because we asked him to work, he cursed under his breath, was on the phone, kept asking to give him free stuff because we were moving. I made them go home 1 hour earlier because he really made me upset with his atread moretitude!!
5 Lisa B, Mount Dora FL reviewing Labor Ready 7/9/2011 I arranged for 2 strong men to unload a moving truck and bring very heavy boxes and furniture to an upstairs apartment. They were on time, however, one of the men could barely move himself much less anything else. He sat down for about half the time. In turn I had to use two other men to help. I contacted Labor Ready to inforead morerm them of the problem. They were extremely professional and refunded me for part of the time. I would use them again even with the problem we had with one of the workers.
5 Lisa B, Rochester NY reviewing Labor Ready 7/5/2011 I arranged for 2 helpers (in Rochester, NY) to load very heavy boxes and furniture for an out of state move. These guys were on time and worked non-stop for the entire time. I was very impressed with them and would use them again.
3 Nick B, Greenville SC reviewing Labor Ready 7/1/2011 Was on time a very helpful. Just one of the Helpers was not careful with my stuff and few things was damaged.
5 Inga M, Hattiesburg MS reviewing Labor Ready 7/1/2011 We hired 2 movers for 4 hours. The men showed up promptly at 8. They were AWESOME. I will use this company again as we have to move our son to college in the fall. Both men were very professional and careful with our furniture. I cannot say enough good things about them.
5 Ksena S, Rochester NY reviewing Labor Ready 7/1/2011 We had to reschedule the move several time during the day due to our truck being delayed at the border - we've been accommodated every time. The helper did not disappoint either - fast, efficient. We will definitively hire your guys again for our future projects.

2 Sandra D, Clifton VA reviewing Labor Ready 6/27/2011 very poor service, damage has been done to my customer house, the workers look like they came from the streets and customer service never get back to mje about this and my card was been charge for the very poor service.
4 Michael D, Centreville VA reviewing Labor Ready 6/27/2011 It was nice to get someone within 24 hours to come and work for us. The only issue was that the person did not have any experience with gardening, which is what we needed. I know if we had asked with time the company may have provided someone with this type of experience. But we r grateful for their help on such short notice.
4 Anita C, Fort Wayne IN reviewing Labor Ready 6/27/2011 Prompt cheerful helpers. Thank you!
5 Keith W, Cary NC reviewing Labor Ready 6/26/2011 Cory and Mike were hard workers. The job was done quickly. These two joked and laughed while working through the challenges of our job unloading a twenty-four foot truck full of boxes and some furniture in five hours! We will use this service again.
3 Derek C, Park Ridge IL reviewing Labor Ready 6/25/2011 It was obvious that Labor Ready just hires contract guys at random. It seemed like the three guys who unloaded my truck had never met before. They got the job done, but it was slow and uncoordinated. Not terrible, but not great either.
5 Frederik S, Derry NH reviewing Labor Ready 6/24/2011 Nice guys. Fast, efficient, and most importantly affordable. Unloaded a whole 26ft truck stuffed to the brim in under 4 hours. Thanks.
5 Blake P, Elko New Market AL reviewing Labor Ready 6/23/2011 Top notch!
3 Mark M, Arlington WA reviewing Labor Ready 6/22/2011 One of the two workers seemed genuinely interested in working the other less so. Tended to think any time he wasn't given a specific task meant it was time to stand and talk. This was the same individual who came to me after a work day and asked for gas money.....The second worker was a good worker and I would hire him again. Soread more my rating would be @ 50%

5 Dave G, Colorado Springs CO reviewing Labor Ready 6/17/2011 Both Jason and Greg showed up on time. They tackled a very difficult task on what became a hot day, and we got it all done. Jason was always looking for ways to help, find a way to get something done and just in general a great attitude.
4 John F, Ridgeland MS reviewing Labor Ready 6/17/2011 David and Joel did a good job in helping unload our truck. Despite the high temp and humidity they worked well comp0leting the job in under 2.5 hours, beating my expectations
5 Kelly B, Fallston MD reviewing Labor Ready 6/15/2011 I would highly suggest using Hire a Helper, they were great. Wonderful Customer Service, nice helpers and willing to do anything. They also were very appreciate to be able to work. One suggestion is to call Hire a helper prior to confirm as one day there was a mix up. Even with the mix up they got someone out the next day and alread morel was great.
1 Raj N, Potomac MD reviewing Labor Ready 6/12/2011 The person sent was not suited for the job. The weeding was poor and the work itself twice as much as it should have. The person was a nice gentleman.
2 Srini D, Grayson GA reviewing Labor Ready 6/11/2011 One person could barely walk by the time unloading began at the new address. He was dragging boxes around and left dents and scratches in walls and furniture that he handled. The other two had to make up for this person. I had hired 3 people so it would be done efficiently, but the damage done around the house and to the read morefurniture was substantial. I will not use this service again. I would have been better served using two different teams for loading and unloading. The cost ended up being nearly the same, atleast a fresh set of hands would have prevented damage around the house and to the furniture. Srini

5 Mark M, Campbell CA reviewing Labor Ready 6/11/2011 Cody was superb! A tireless worker, great attitude! Would definitely use him again!
2 Holly W, Cuyahoga Falls OH reviewing Labor Ready 6/10/2011 Labor ready showed up two hours late. Which was the offices' fault because they mis-scheduled my service for 6 hours later than it was supposed to be, so they sent four guys instead of the 2 I had originally scheduled for the 2 hours I had left before I had to pull out with my truck. The guys were nice and super helpful, BUT wread morehen I got to my desitnation I found that had not used but 4 of the 24 furinture pads I had rented so ALL of my furniture was dirty, scratched, ripped, or had to be replaced. I called Labor Ready and their resposne was "Well, you know we are not professional movers." and told me to call hire-a-helper.com, who refunded me half of my cost, but that won't even replace one piece of furniture and I have to replace/refinish almost all of it.

4 Sue V, Fargo ND reviewing Labor Ready 6/4/2011 Clear, concrete instructions are needed for every room, as you go. Giving comprehensive overall instructions will not work. She got the job done and I did offer to take her to the nearest bus stop. No car. It was no problem for me, and she did not ask me. The closest one was at least 2 miles. Overall I was pleased.
4 Rob L, Puyallup WA reviewing Labor Ready 6/3/2011 Louisville, KY Help: Two helpers were hired to assist me loading a 3 bed rtoom apartment. 5 Teri O, Bakersfield CA reviewing Labor Ready 5/20/2011 Ivan, my helper, was the absolute best. Some people walk and act like they're ready to be there and get to work. He was definitely one of those people. I was a bit apprehensive I must admit because I didn't know what kind of a helper I'd get. Very efficient, very helpful, very productive and very polite. A wonderful "walkinread moreg advertisement" for Labor Ready. Also, I think it should be noted, when we were finished, I pulled a $20 bill out of my pocket to give him a tip for being so helpful to me. (I didn't know that wasn't appropriate). He told me he was unable to accept it, and he didn't. A straight arrow all the way.

Robert Shaw is an intread moreelligent, thoughtful, considerate man who provided calm, patient support as well as tireless physical help for a monumental sorting and packing job. Thank goodness for all of his valuable help. Thank you to Labor Ready. We could NOT have managed this job without you.
1 Era C, Benton AR reviewing Labor Ready 4/16/2011 Labor Ready had the worst possible service that a company could give. My husband's mother had passed away and we had only a few hours to move her belongings out of her room. I told Labor Ready when we needed the help and they agreed that they would have them there. The time came for the help to show up......no one showed. I read morewaited for 30 minutes before I called them and I got an answering service who said they would call me back shortly. They didn't call back, so I called the answering service again. This time I received a call and was told the help was on the way. An hour later, there was still no help. Finally, two hours and fifteen minutes later, just as I was calling the cancel the job, some help arrived. The helpers were courteous and helped to finish loading and unloading the truck. I have no complaints sbout them, but Labor Ready was neither competent nor professional.

5 David Z, Verona NJ reviewing Labor Ready 3/31/2011 Absolutely tremendous. Someone I would ask for again if the need arose.
3 Ralph F, Windsor Mill MD reviewing Labor Ready 3/29/2011 the two were good, they worked right away, they were hesitant to use the hand trucks but was abke to do the job, there were scratches in my furniture and one was broken but it was a cheap one so it did not matter, they were able to handle some of the expensive furniture with care, the only thing that got me mad was management waread mores charging me for an extra hour when we finished up the job within three hours only, they just charged you an extra hour without verifiying with you so be warry about this company, dont give them your credit card and its much better to get in touch with hireahelper.com since they were the ones who helped me retrieve the money i lost. in short: use them only if you have cheap furniture and make sure you asked them some paper work to sign when job is done, they wont tell you actually so they just leave when its done and charge you an extra hour if they want to without verifying with you. management here sucks, the guys who came to help me were okay... if you dont want the headache use another company that is trustworthy...
4 Anthony C, Salinas CA reviewing Labor Ready 3/29/2011 Workers showed up early and worked hard to pack the truck. They were efficient, though not the most experienced loaders as far as how to fully pack a truck and get everything in it.
5 Amy D, Imperial PA reviewing Labor Ready 3/28/2011 We were in a pinch to find an extra hand to help load our moving truck. Labor Ready was there to help. The experience was a good one. Our goal was met, we had a helping hand, and got everything loaded!
1 Lindsay P, Jacksonville Beach FL reviewing Labor Ready 3/28/2011 - I changed and confirmed our move date with the company. They never processed it through the right channels and I had to call on the morning of our move to remind them to send someone. The guys that they sent were barely capable of moving any of our furniture out of our 3 story home. I spent hours fixing and cleaning the walread morels after they were finished. They were not moving men. They were two guys who just needed something to do. One of the men was about 60.... I understand I could have called the company and they would have sent different people, but they were already 1 hour late and we were on a time crunch.
5 Drew M, East Grand Forks MN reviewing Labor Ready 3/27/2011 Labor Ready and the two employees that were sent to help us with our daughter's move were outstanding. Our story is a long one, but I'll cut to the chase. We thought everything was in place after contacting an Hire A Helper. com. Our contract was accepted, but low and behold workers that the company contacted didn't think read morethey could get us labor to help move the furniture and boxes. It was Friday when this fell through, Labor Ready was contacted by Hire A Helper. com. We had two very hard-working men at our door 10AM Sunday from Labor Ready. By noon, the U-Haul was loaded and ready for departure. These two men were very careful with the items they moved. They worked well together and talked about about what needed to go where and what should be moved next. What started as a very stressful move, became a calm and carefully articulated move because Labor Ready was contacted and they chose two excellent employees to work with us/for us that day. HireAHelper came through because at that late date they negotiated and found another work source for us. They honored their commitment to us and we highly recommend them to others. D. & M. Myer
5 Thomas L, Bonita Springs FL reviewing Labor Ready 3/26/2011 Extremely professional. was polite, worked hard, and took direction well this one is a "keeper" tom
5 James H, Lexington SC reviewing Labor Ready 3/19/2011 Workers were on time and ready to work. Their work was very productive and professional.
2 James H, Saratoga Springs NY reviewing Labor Ready 3/17/2011 If you in dire need, do not use HireAHelper. We ordered and paid in full two weeks ahead of our move, confirmed everything with "Brian" who assured us we could request experienced movers - HA. Not only was Brian conveniently out ill on the morning of our move, his replacement called to say he was still looking for two workers foread morer us. They showed up eventually, an hour late, and only after a highly stressed call was placed. For 3 of the 4 hours they worked as slow as possible, "analyzing" how items should go in the moving truck while my husband carried boxes in and out of the house. Finally when I came home and saw we had an hour left, and half the house to still load, I asked them to step it up, which they did do - FINALLY. Amazingly, they finished packing the truck in just over 4 hours, but the whole experience dealing with Labor Ready from start to finish was very disappointing. The workers had never packed a moving truck before. I will say they were courteous, but by no means professional or on time.
4 Kathy F, Bend OR reviewing Labor Ready 3/16/2011 Don Wise and Don Haynes unloaded our moving trailer on Tuesday, March 15th.
4 Nanette M, Shreveport LA reviewing Labor Ready 3/10/2011 Only issue is that Labor Ready did not pick up and deliver the workers to me on time. I had to call them and remind them that they were late. Labor Ready got my workers to me almost an hour late. The workers were awesome! Once they arrived they got straight to work and did not stop until the job was completed. I wouldread more hire these same 3 workers again!
5 Forrest S, Inwood WV reviewing Labor Ready 3/9/2011 I hired 4 men to move furniture and housing items into a 3 story townhome. Some of the furniture items were very heavy and bulky. The guys did great!! No complaints, they worked hard and did very little wall damage to our very narrow steps. The service cost was low and I will rehire if and when needed again.
4 Nelson E, Charlotte NC reviewing Labor Ready 3/5/2011 It has been long enough that I have forgotten his name. However he was a steady worker, who blended in nicely with my volunteer help (mostly family).
5 Robin V, Huntersville NC reviewing Labor Ready 3/5/2011 I needed two helpers to load a moving truck. I filled out an application and within minutes I had a response. My two helpers showed up 15 minutes early and properly dressed for the work. They were hard working and not once did I have to "find" them. This was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend HireAHelperread more.com to anyone needing temporary help.
4 Nelson E, Charlotte NC reviewing Labor Ready 3/4/2011 Same as previous review.
5 Karin P, Tucson AZ reviewing Labor Ready 3/3/2011 The two laborers were on time, very helpful and had a good work ethic. We got a lot done. I would recommend HireaHelper to my friends and family. sincerely, Karin Phifer
5 Ohlen H, Mansfield MA reviewing Labor Ready 2/26/2011 The two workers were on time and ready to work. they were extremely helpful and careful with everything they moved. Great job!
5 Lisa C, Gautier MS reviewing Labor Ready 2/24/2011 They arrived early, worked hard, and were very courteous!
5 Susan D, Tucson AZ reviewing Labor Ready 2/22/2011 Both men were great; willing and able-bodied and professional and on time. I felt very safe and that they really cared about my move.
5 Amanda M, Midland TX reviewing Labor Ready 2/19/2011 JR was fantastic. Ethical, hard working and very capable. I appreciated the professionalism of Labor Ready as well, with call confirmations and the works. Thanks!
5 Ora O, Fresno CA reviewing Labor Ready 2/15/2011 Good job, good service. I would hire them again.
2 Ta-Nisha E, Prattville AL reviewing Labor Ready 2/12/2011 I was not that impressed but let me start off by saying they got the job done. But they were far from professional I believe one was drunk still from the other night and he was an older man I and asked for movers so needless to say he didnt move much. The other man was making and taking personal phone calls while on the job, in read moreall might have wasted 45 mins. They were always arguing this is something I couldnt understand. so honestly no I would not use this service again I could have just paid family to do the move and wouldnt have had to deal with all of this.
4 Bonnie W, Carpinteria CA reviewing Labor Ready 2/9/2011 This is a challenging review to write because I was extremely satisfied with part of the service and very dissatisfied with the other part of the service. Let me start with the people who actually showed up and did the work: they were GREAT! One was an experienced mover and did an excellent job of guiding the other guy and securread moreely packing the truck and generally taking good care of my belongings. I could not be happier with the quality of the individuals Labor Ready sent. My dissatisfaction is with the administrative staff at Labor Ready. Even though I booked the job 2 - 3 weeks in advance and was contacted the day after I booked the job online, when I called at 3pm the day before to confirm they said I was not listed on the schedule for the following day. When I specified who had initially called me I was told, "she's gone home for the day but will be in early tomorrow." Frankly, I was shocked at the unwillingness to contact their staff to determine the details for a job that was set to begin between 8 - 9 the following morning, despite the fact that I told them I had a truck rented and a schedule I needed to keep. About 9am I received a call that they would definitely have people at my home but they were going to be late. The workers arrived at 9:40am. Thankfully, I had planned some extra time in my schedule. My advice is, if you choose Labor Ready, confirm the job with their office TWO DAYS in advance so they have time to resolve any accidental oversights. The helpers did an excellent job once they arrived and I would definitely hire them again.
5 Krista B, Jefferson LA reviewing Labor Ready 2/8/2011 Our helpers did a great job for us at the end of a long cross-country move. We'll definitely work with them again next time we move!
5 Thomas V, Providence RI reviewing Labor Ready 1/21/2011 The two helpers were timely and courteous. They completed the job on time and I recommend.
5 Kevin W, Bossier City LA reviewing Labor Ready 1/18/2011 This is my first experience with HireAHelper.com and I was very pleased. Both men had the knowledge and experience I needed for the move. They were both on-time, professional and very courteous. Best of all, they took care of everything without wasting time. I would certainly use HireAHelper.com again. Thanks
1 Deepak K, Mayfield Heights OH reviewing Labor Ready 1/16/2011 I requested two labors for moving heavy furnitre from one building to another since I moved into a new bigger size apartment and needed extra hands to move the heavy items which I alone can not do. I was expecting them at 12:00pm. At 12:30ish pm I got a call from the labor asking about the address. and he lost his way. When I caread morelled him back to follow up in between while he was trying to find his way to my home, he seemed to be very less attentive to my instructions to find the route as if he was doing something else on the way and just pretending that he lost his way. Well I did not mind until then. The elevators were booked in the building for certain duration in both the buildings and it is winter of January (toward the end of month). I requested them to arrive at 12:00pm expecting this move to finish before evening. After one hour around at 1pm the labor arrived and when I asked about the second labor, he showed a surprised face to me telling that he should have arrived at 12pm. He then told me that he has been calling the office but no one was picking the phone to help him with the address or anything. So then I started calling the laborready office and then came to know that the second labor informed the office two days before that he would not be able to do this assignment but office missed his message and did not assign anyone else. Well then the manager of the labor ready tried to do a firedrill action and found some guy who works in the RiteAids and brought him to my office by 3pm. That was great. The first guy guy kept waiting till then since the work was for two guys only as I explained in the work order itself. Since the move was between two buildings, I had to give one key to these folks. The guy who works in the RiteAid told me all of a sudden that he gave that key back and apparantly I lost the key. This is the key to the new apartment. I am baffled since I never had the key (felt it as very ominous and insecure to work with these folks alone with two kids and wife in the silence of winter night). Then all of a sudden after one hour he told me that it was his mistake that he did not check all his pockets and he got the key back. (You can imagine how much thankful I was to the Lord). As expected, I started running short of the time so I asked them if they can stay back a little more. The guy from RiteAid refused saying that his wife works late night shift and he has to do baby sitting. So I can not say anything else. The other guys was wiling to stay back. But I can not lift heavy furniture with him due to some medical conditions. The next day I had to take help from other local people by paying extra to get the remaining work done. All that was fine... not that bad. The height was surpassed when I got a call from HireAHelper confirming if the labors worked for more than 4 hours since the laborready is asking for 3 hour extra for the first labor (who apparantly was waiting). And this was claimed by the manager who brought the second missing guy at 3pm. When the manager arrived at my home, she asked the first guy if he did anything in front of me and he told her not. Then she chimed the clock at 3pm and started the time. Still she billed for 3 hours extra. Even the work order that I signed after the work got over had this clearly mentioned that they worked only for 4 hours. It seems that she did not even refer to the work order that was signed by me. Well I would call it as very bad overall experience. But for such a cheap price, I should not have expected professionalism. However, it is not just the professionalism, I felt very insecure for a brief while working with their men. I really wish if laborready can improve on the professionalism front by keeping the same price structure, then the labor ready can be the best. I would prefer to pay more for a prefessional company which can provide peace of mind.
1 Brendan R, Miami Beach FL reviewing Labor Ready 1/14/2011 This was the worst service and moving experience I have ever had. 1. The workers showed up late, and were lazy. 2. They required constant supervision and kept trying to sneak smoke breaks. 3. Most of my furniture they moved was damaged or scratched. 4. They broke the magnetic seal on my condo building's fread moreront door that almost resulted in me forfeiting my deposit. Fortunately the door was still under warranty and I did not lose my deposit but it was a huge hassle negotiating with the committee. 5. While promising to return with a vehicle they left without finishing the job. Thankfully I was able to contact a manager at 1030 at night to explain that the laborers had lied and left without finishing the job. She apologized and made arrangements for other workers to come back 3 days later to finish the job. Show Response

3 Linda S, Dubuque IA reviewing Labor Ready 12/27/2010 I had contracted the movers to help a set amount of time they said they could not work to that time. I said I would call who I hired them through. They said no don't I paid them way over their going rate each in cash for the extra hour. They took a long time to unload the truck. I had help twice in WI for the same load/size read moreof truck and it took half the time. No I would not use these workers again. They then went back and said they were not paid.
5 Francesco C, San Diego CA reviewing Labor Ready 12/23/2010 Jose and Raymond were excellent. I gave very little direction and they took care of the rest. Went above and beyond my expectations. thank you Happy New Year. Francesco

5 Roxann E, Cambria Heights NY reviewing Labor Ready 12/11/2010 We needed help filling a 30yd dumpster of an entire houses inventory. The task seemed daunting, but Hire-A-Helper provided reasonable pricing for able workers. We estimated that 3 would do the job in 4 hours with basic direction for myself. The helpers were on time and ready to work. They readily found among themselves the leaderead morer and each completed tasks quickly and efficiently. They worked well together and finished the entire job on-time. I would use this service again. It's a great resource for any project that requires able bodies.
5 Bobbi H, Cary NC reviewing Labor Ready 12/10/2010 The guys worked very fast and they were very helpful. I highky recoomend them! However, one guy used the bathroom and stunk it up!!! That wasn't cool at all!
5 Michelle R, Washington DC reviewing Labor Ready 12/10/2010 We have used Labor Ready a couple of times and are always pleased. The helpers are on time, courteous, and hard working!

5 Mike T, Lexington SC reviewing Labor Ready 12/7/2010 I don't know if the problem was with Hire a Helper or Labor Ready, but I ordered the three helpers for 7 AM and they arrived at 10:45. Once they arrived they performed the task well. The time was confirmed by a dispatcher before the date of work...
4 Morgan B, Omaha NE reviewing Labor Ready 12/6/2010 Showed up and worked at tasks was needed
4 Amir A, Gilroy CA reviewing Labor Ready 12/4/2010 Billy was fantastic, he did 80% of the work by himself... Julian was lazy, slow and all he wanted to do is talk.
5 Tiby M, Rochester MI reviewing Labor Ready 12/4/2010 The hired help was very nice and professional and I would recommend it to any future clients.
5 Elke B, Stephens City VA reviewing Labor Ready 12/4/2010 Leo and David, where outstanding, they came on time, they where carefull with our items, they came saw an conquered and they even made my family laugh, through out the whole move. I will never never move without labor ready on my side.
5 Sarah W, New Braunfels TX reviewing Labor Ready 12/2/2010 Workers were on time-even a little early. They worked hard for 4 hours, spreading rock. On their own (after asking me) they put some walking stones down so I could get to my gate easier . It was a great idea they had. They were very polite.
4 Martha N, Escondido CA reviewing Labor Ready 11/29/2010 The team of three (1 female, 2 males) were on time, dressed appropriately, polite. Although my request was the trios first working together, they seemed organized, did what was asked of them, and worked well together.
5 Eric E, Las Cruces NM reviewing Labor Ready 11/29/2010 The 2 gentlemen that helped with our move were experienced movers. Eric Las Cruces, NM
5 Bill C, Panama City FL reviewing Labor Ready 11/27/2010 Two "excellent" guys were hired. A great experience, on time and willing to work.
5 Jennifer K, Minnetrista MN reviewing Labor Ready 11/27/2010 This move was not a desired one, and many things went wrong with it...except for the gentlemen from HireAHelper that helped us move. From the moment the got to the house they worked every bit as hard as my husband and our friend. Stopped long enough to eat and was right back to work even before we were. I would most definitely hread moreire them again, and I would tell friends about your facility as well.
5 Kathleen M, Tujunga CA reviewing Labor Ready 11/25/2010 Julie was on time, she was helpful and hard-working. I was very pleased.
3 Robert E, Pacific Grove CA reviewing Labor Ready 11/19/2010 The workers showed up on time and worked very quickly and efficiently to help me load my moving truck. However, I was not happy with the care with which they handled my furniture. I recognize that they were not professional movers, but they dropped one piece of furniture, scratching the front of it and other pieces had more miread morenor dings. Nothing was destroyed, but I felt that they were careless at times in handling the furniture.
3 Cory K, North Canton OH reviewing Labor Ready 11/15/2010 We hired 2 guys to help us move since we already had a truck available. One was very thorough and careful with our furniture. The other guy dinged up numerous walls to the point of drywall chipping off and scratched up several pieces of furniture. They did show up early and stayed until everything was done which ended up being aread moren extra two hours which was appreciated. Just don't think I would use them for such an intensive job.
5 Dennis F, Cape Coral FL reviewing Labor Ready 11/3/2010 these guys were great.....early arrival...no bs, just steady hard work.....hope to use them again on my next trip down

5 Leone T, Pittsburgh PA reviewing Labor Ready 10/30/2010 Dan and Bo were fabulous...they worked hard, were on time and had a great attitude...both of them.
2 Ben W, Salisbury MD reviewing Labor Ready 10/26/2010 My experience this time was less than favorable. The helper arrived early (which was good), but then proceeded to pressure me to hire his friend that he brought with him for cash. I agreed, reluctantly, to give him $20 cash at the end of the job if he help. I felt this was very unprofessional. Most individuals with moving read moreexperience have the ability to load a truck so items are secure. That was not the case this time. The last complaint was that a small scratch was put in the customer's door tint as a piece of the equipment was brought it. The customer was not upset, but I was hoping for a more professional helper.
5 Adam C, Des Moines IA reviewing Labor Ready 10/24/2010 The workers were great. They were on time and ready to work with positive and friendly attitudes. I really appreciate all of their help!
5 Neil W, Mishawaka IN reviewing Labor Ready 10/23/2010 The helpers were on time, all good workers and friendly. We had them help load and unload a Uhaul for a local move and were very pleased by all 3 of the helpers that we had.
5 John B, Stratford CT reviewing Labor Ready 10/23/2010 The two workers did a great job. They were efficient and pleasant to work with. They were just what we needed to do the job. Thanks to you for sending them. Thanks to them for their efforts.
5 Valerie J, Fairfax VA reviewing Labor Ready 10/22/2010 Clarence Duckett was very helpful. Very hard worker. Mojibade O. Jibodu was very helpful as well. Very hard worker.
5 Derick M, Fayetteville NC reviewing Labor Ready 10/21/2010 Definitely quality service. Needed help packing and moving house onto a moving truck quickly. Help got the job done quickly and thouroghly... one even volunteered some of his personal time to help me unload the moving truck. They were very professional, and very last minute. I originally hired a different company fro Hire A Helpread moreer, but they were unable to assist me in such a short time frame. HaH linked me up with Labor Ready and they wre both prompt in their response and worked with me to get the best help without paying any more than I intended. They were very professional and did an excellent job.
1 Brent L, Crozet VA reviewing Labor Ready 10/9/2010 I cannot recommend them. Two days before the scheduled work date, I was called to confirm, without difficulty. One day before, I was called with the news that one of the laborers they had intended to send did not pass his background check, and they may only be able to send one. I agreed this was acceptable, as long as I wread moreas charged an appropriate rate. The day of the work order, noone came or contacted me. One hour after the scheduled start time, I called Labor Ready, and was informed that 1) the start time they had was an hour earlier than I desired (making this two hours behind schedule) and 2), apparently NO laborers for this date had a background check. The very polite and apologetic young lady dealing with me stated she attempted to contact the local and regional managers, and that they were trying to clear someone for the weekend. Five hours after the scheduled start time I was finally informed that no one would be available for me. Both the young lady at Labor Ready and Hire a Helper were very polite, and understandably limited in what assistance they could offer, but this is the second time I have had an aide from Hire a Helper no-show on the day of the order without prior warning. I cannot recommend nor will I use either service again.
5 Evelyn C, Greensburg PA reviewing Labor Ready 10/7/2010 David and Jonathan did an excellent job. They were very courteous, punctual and well-mannered. They took extra care of our belongings, making sure everything was well protected in the truck. I would definitely recommend these two young men to others.
5 Dorothea R, Isle Of Palms SC reviewing Labor Ready 10/2/2010 Helpers were on time, did a great job, glad we hired them!
5 Jack A, Broken Arrow OK reviewing Labor Ready 9/30/2010 I was extemely satisfied with the 2 laborers sent to load my moving truck. They arrived promptly and were polite, worked very hard and did a great job. The truck was loaded so well we had no shifting during our cross country move. They did such a good job used your service to hire laborers to help unload in Maryland. Tread morehose guys also did a great job. I highly recommend your services.
5 Stacey H, Marina CA reviewing Labor Ready 9/28/2010 I highly recommend this service. My two helpers, Oscar & Miguel were the best, fastest, and courtest helpers anyone could ask for. They arrived early and stayed 10 mins late to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction. I was really nervous about moving my belongings, but my helpers calmed my fears and took care of my things thread moree way I care for them. I would use this service again, but I'm unhappy that I know live in a different state and wouldn't be able to get the same two helpers. If you are looking for a stressless day of getting things done, this is the service for you. Thank you.
5 Beth S, Florence SC reviewing Labor Ready 9/25/2010 Steve and Chris were on time, polite and very neat in their appearance. They jumped right into the job and made a daunting task over quickly. I will never hestitate to use Hire a Helper for Labor Ready again! Beth Sullivan

5 Thomas P, Orange Park FL reviewing Labor Ready 9/23/2010 Carnell Smith is a very good worker and a nice man to be around. He is very punctual. He does not need proding to work, in fact he looks around to see what needs to be done and gets the task completed. I would hire him anytime.
5 Candy C, Leland NC reviewing Labor Ready 9/21/2010 It's really hard moving across the country but with HireAHelper it was made so much easier. I contacted them and my move was handled by Darlene who is the BEST in customer service I've dealt with in my life, and I'm 65. She went above and beyond to help me. How many people would call you on their day off to make sure the crread moreew was at your home to unload and let you know if there was any problem to call her. This was on a Sunday and she was even out of state at the time but took the time to make sure I was being taken care of. The crew was great and did all that I asked for and more. Being on time, courteous and professional in everyway. Happy with HireAHelper and would recommend to anyone who wants to have some of the hassle of moving taken off and know they will be taken care of!!!! Love Darlene, I'd hire her in a minute to work for me and I'm tough on my employees since I expect 100% and she gave 200%. Thank You C. Carson Leland, NC
4 Barry B, Lees Summit MO reviewing Labor Ready 9/20/2010 Jason (Stephen on the work order) was an OUTSTANDING worker; Michael not so much. Jason did most of the heavy lifting with little assistance from Mike. I've asked for Jason on two additional occasions but haven't been fortunate enough to get his help again. Both arrived before the required start time, and both were courteous.

1 Cheryl T, Moneta VA reviewing Labor Ready 8/23/2010 I would NOT recommend these two workers again. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with their service. One of the gentleman stayed on his cell phone for most of the three hours there either talking or texting. He used his cell so much he even asked if he could plug it in to charge. While talking on the phone he driopped several boxes anread mored ran the utility cart into some furniture that was sitting in the area.We had hired them to unload a Uhaul truck. When they got the truck unloaded (only three hours into the 4 hour s hired for) I had requested that they take some of the empty boxes up the driveway for the trash collection because both my husband and I are handicapped. They stated they would and took one load up. There was another load still sitting in the basement area and we were waiting for them to take them up as well when we did not see them for a few minutes it was discovered they had already left with an hour remaining on the time I paid for.
5 Cheryl T, Valdosta GA reviewing Labor Ready 8/20/2010 I was VERY please with the two gentleman that was sent to help load our storage unit. They were very professional and hard working. Would HIGHLY recommend these two gentlemaread moren again.

5 Mike N, Charlottesville VA reviewing Labor Ready 8/15/2010 Both workers did a great job. The weather was hot but they kept working, taking only reasonable breaks to stay hydrated. 5 Daniel O, Roanoke VA reviewing Labor Ready 8/14/2010 Unloading only took 2 of the minimum 4 hours, but Labor Ready was worth every penny. The guys were professional, friendly and hard-working. 5 John T, Metairie LA reviewing Labor Ready 8/13/2010 Very professional. 5 Rebecca or Tom H, Alexander AR reviewing Labor Ready 7/13/2010 I am so grateful to the people who moved us, my husband is a disabled veteran and without the help we received we would not have been able to move as he can no longer (after six surgeries and a heart attack) move furniture any more. We needed to move to a place where they have a V.A. hospital and I was very concerned how I was gread moreoing to be able to do it. Our help got there early and were very professional and polite and seemed to really care about doing a good job for us and did. They finished early, and everything was packed in the truck so that we had no damage. I am not sure any professional movers could do that. Finances was also a consideration since we live on a fixed income. We could not have gotten better help at any price. Thank you Hire-A-Helper and Labor Ready in Abilene, you were a life saver, literally !!!
5 Rebecca or Tom H, Abilene TX reviewing Labor Ready 7/11/2010 The helpers got here early and finished early. They were very polite and professional and fun to work with. It was the middle of summer and they did not complain a bit, and kept right on working. They did a great job, were very careful with everything and actually took a sincere interest in the work. We were running late on ourread more trip when we were on our way here and had to make a last minute change. The Labor Ready people in Arkansas made the change and had the guys here the next day without missing a beat. We were amazed at getting such good help at such a good price. My husband is a disabled veteran and cannot move furniture any more, and I was truly concerned how I was going to be able to move closer to a V.A. hospital and afford it. 4 Christopher S, Columbia SC reviewing Labor Ready 7/5/2010 Both helpers showed up on time. One of the two helps was extremely helpful He worked hard and faithfully the entire time. He constantly looked for what needed done. He did not shy away from the hard parts of the job. (more labor intensive) The other helper was an average worker. He took several smoke breaks includiread moreng one right outside my front door making my house smell like smoke. This helper also tried a few times to look for easier jobs and required much more supervision. 4 Out of 5 stars overall. 5 out of 5 for one of the helpers and 3 out of 5 for the other.
5 Traian D, Ellicott City MD reviewing Labor Ready 7/3/2010 The helper I hired for moving furniture was very courteous and a nice person overall. He always picked up the heaviest items. 3 Laura S, Hershey PA reviewing Labor Ready 6/26/2010 canceled on me
1 Cathy S, Manlius NY reviewing Labor Ready 6/26/2010 I was very disapointed in the Helpers that were sent to us. One of the guys showed up sick. They damaged the wall when they dropped a piece of furniture. We spent most of the time unloading the truck while they were carrying in 1 box at a time. At one point they were just sitting in lawn chairs in the garage. I felt like I paidread more these guys for very little work. We had a 70 year old man, 2 women over 50 and 29 year old man recovery form stomach surgery who worked circles around these two guys.
5 Marlys S, North Liberty IA reviewing Labor Ready 6/26/2010 The 2 men that helped unload our truck did a wonderful job! We were very happy with them, and we had them move items around in the apartment and they didn't mind at all! The only trouble was that they did not receive the address, only the town, from whoever organizes that. They had to drive around until they found us, and so we read morewondered if they were coming. They were upset that they did not receive the address. They were professional & courteous!!

4 Lisa C, Destin FL reviewing Labor Ready 6/24/2010 I feel the helpers provided by Labor Ready were efficient. They showed up a few minutes early. I hired three men to help move. One did an excellent job and worked hard. One was probably too old to be doing that kind of work and it showed. The third worked hard, but complained a bit. The office staff that I dealt with priorread more to the move was very friendly.
1 Lyn C, Omaha NE reviewing Labor Ready 6/22/2010 We had an in town move. The mover we chose cancelled the night before we were to move. HireAHelper found a replacement quickly, but it was Labor Ready. We requested four movers and we received one able bodied person and three marginal people. None of them had moving experience. It turned a five hour process into eleven hourread mores. AND, we had to rent a truck for an additional day because we didn't have time to make a second trip on our own, as we had planned. They had alcohol on their breath and three of the four were dragging from the moment they got there. One of them commented "Why did they send the oldest people for a moving job?" My question also. They were courteous and on time. They followed instructions, but we were the ones giving direction! We got it done, but my husband and I had to work as hard as they did. AND it ended up costing us money - six additional hours.
5 Peggy C, Newcastle CA reviewing Labor Ready 6/19/2010 did a fine job

4 Farsad A, Minneapolis MN reviewing Labor Ready 6/11/2010 I am satisfied with the help I got in Minneapolis. They were professional, courteous and on time. They did the job fast and professionally. However the work in Ann Arbor was less satisfactory. More specifically, they were slow, tired and had to leave in between to boost their energy. They were also less careful with difficulty tread moreo figure out a safe way of unloading the packages.

4 Ronald S, Aiken SC reviewing Labor Ready 5/29/2010 Not professional as movers, several items were damaged - minor damage that was easily repaired but, still damage. Walls were scratched and dented. But, what can you expect from non-professional movers. They were very policy, very prompt, and did what was asked of them without complaint and as efficiently as they could.
5 Christine C, Simpsonville SC reviewing Labor Ready 5/28/2010 We hired two people to help load furniture from our house into a rental truck. They arrived on time and were very clean and courteous. They worked nonstop to get the furniture and boxes into the truck and they were done before the 4 hour time period was up. 5 Paula R, Pittsburgh PA reviewing Labor Ready 5/20/2010 They were early to the house and were extremely fast and helpful with moving my stuff.
5 Christina B, Akron OH reviewing Labor Ready 5/14/2010 The two gentlemen you sent were nothing but professional. We used them to assist us in unpacking a truck load of house items since we were moving from Maine. We were going to have to change our plans of which room to make the master bedroom because there was no way we could get the box spring up the stairs but one of them (I donread more't remember his name but he was the African American one) came up with a brilliant idea and because of his ingenuity, we have the master bedroom we desired. We had to insist that they take a break or they wouldn't have stopped. I was very impressed with both of them. If I start another business, I would consider myself lucky to have either of them in my employ.
5 Lisa W, Philadelphia PA reviewing Labor Ready 5/14/2010 The helpers that we hired were extremely professional. We hired them to help us with the moving process. They had a great work ethic and worked hard to finish the job in the time alloted. They arrived slightly early and they were extremely polite and respectful throughout the move. We would definitely hire these helpers agaread morein.
5 Mike K, Fort Mill SC reviewing Labor Ready 5/6/2010 Couteous, quick response and very thorough.
4 Karen L, Tracy CA reviewing Labor Ready 5/1/2010 There were two workers - an older while male and younger black male. The older male showed up on time and was extremely helpful. In my book, he should get an outstanding rating. The younger male was 20 minutes late and was finally accompanied by his father -- who was trying to teach him the value of work. He younger man stooread mored around - we would need to enlist his help. A couple of times he was not around - I finally found him on his cell phone. He should not get the good rating that the older man gets.
5 Neal B, Absecon NJ reviewing Labor Ready 4/29/2010 The service was outstanding!!! The worker provided me with more than what I expected. This made things easy for us.
5 Stephane C, Rochester MN reviewing Labor Ready 4/25/2010 I would highly recommend these people. They all turned up in plenty of time. We were moving furniture in to a 3rd floor apartment and every single person performed excellently. I would have no hesitation in hiring them again.

Whread moreen I had a concern Labor Ready management was right there to help.
3 Leslie M, Verona WI reviewing Labor Ready 4/23/2010 They had a little bit of trouble getting to my new apartment. I live on a street that has not been added to google maps or mapquest yet. However, I gave them directions that morning and would have appreciated a call as soon as they got lost, rather than after they were 30 minutes late. The helpers were great once they arriveread mored. Quick and efficient and finished everything I needed them to do before my 4 hours were up. They didn't stop working for even a moment until they had finished everything. I was also frustrated that you had to book for at least 4 hours. I only needed them for 2 hours and would have appreciated paying for what I actually needed.
5 Karen Jean U, Hebron OH reviewing Labor Ready 4/16/2010 The workers were prompt, courteous, followed directions, didn't socialize between themselves, and completed the tasks safely. They only took breaks when I asked them to. They were appreciative for having the work.
4 Dianne D, Pembroke Pines FL reviewing Labor Ready 4/15/2010 Thank you for sending Charles to do my garden project. He was very courteous, on time and did a good job of transplanting my scrubs.
5 Andre L, Spring TX reviewing Labor Ready 4/10/2010 Ben arrived on time and was very professional. His work ethic was great.
3 Neal S, Killeen TX reviewing Labor Ready 4/1/2010 The helpers were professional and courteous on time. But we asked for laborers who could move material. And the laborers we got was like 2 for 1 it took 2 people to do what normally what 1 person to do. A little over priced.
5 Rick M, Wendell NC reviewing Labor Ready 3/31/2010 The two hired helpers were extremely courteous and assisted with our every need. Thank you!
1 Alison P, Pipersville PA reviewing Labor Ready 3/30/2010 I've used other helpers through this site, and Labor Ready was the worst. It took several phone calls with the regional office to confirm if they could fulfill the needs of my move request, even though Labor Ready confirmed the job online. The movers arrived 30 minutes late, had no knowledge of what they were hired to do, and fread moreor the most part had a negative attitude, took lots of smoke breaks and weren't very productive. They didn't want to help put furniture together, even though I specified that it was part of what I needed on the job request and had to call their local office to confirm this before they assisted.
