Large enough truck for 2 bedrooms and living room.

Truck died, left me stranded for hours. got nitpicky over all the little details returning it. Somehow returned the truck with less miles then it went out with. but they did their best to correct it at the end

Reserved the truck and car carrier 2 months before the move and got there at 9am on pick up day to find they had no truck or car carrier in stock. Had to drive to another location to get the truck then but was told that there was no car carrier available anywhere. 2 stars because they did work to get a mechanic to work on an out of service car carrier and got it fixed up for us before the end of the day, however when we got the carrier hooked up to the truck, we found out that the lights weren't working. We were still in the budget truck rentals parking and had to wait for roadside assistance to come and fix the lights. It was essentially a whole day ordeal just to get the truck and car carrier. This issue seemed to be a big inventory management miss on handling reservations while the site itself did what they could to get us what we needed. However when people are moving great distances, hearing "we don't have a truck or car carrier" is not what you want to hear the day before you are scheduled to move out.

Great truck that could take the mountains.

They did not have the size truck I needed available therefore I had to make multiple trips

The truck was not the newest but it ran the road well during the day and the evening. The only mishap was that the inside Dick light failed to stay on but we were able to complete our task.

They were very difficult to reach and confirm truck. The location for drop off had closed and I had to scramble to find another location. Truck ran great but communication or lack off was very frustrating.

NA just used them to move Budget truck was older but a great value and got us there!!

I used Budget in the past and they were very informative and on time and helpful but this experience in Baltimore was trash. I made the reservation 4 days ahead of time. Upon calling the day before to add a vehicle transport trailer I was told they were "expecting " the truck to arrive that evening or the next day early morning. ??? They said "we do not keep trucks here. They have to be sent" okay? To no avail, I called the pick day to let them know I was running behind and they informed me we do not have your truck. We dont have any. Sent me to customer service with budget. They wanted to call me back when they found something. I was not having it. I held on hold until they gave me a new pick place and to get there and the guy was not going to get me a truck. He eventually caved in and got me a truck. But someone else was going to be disappointed like me. Their whole system is crazy. I needa refund for multiple frustrations ??

Got us there in one piece

I rented a 12' truck with Budget 6 weeks in advance. The day before the move they called and told me they don't actually have that truck available for me. Offered to find a similar one. I called Penske and got what I'm sure was a newer and nicer truck in the size I needed.

The Citadel Mall Charleston Location didn't have enough moving blankets and the truck leaked letting in water when it rained overnight. Thankfully nothing was damaged, but it was stressful.

The price was decent. The truck was beat up, but fully functional. Some of the extra's we ordered were not available on pickup day (only 12 of the 24 moving blankets, no dolly). As such, I reduced the rating one star.

Pick Up in Tennessee and Drop Off in Florida were both Excellent. Truck and car carrier were both in great condition.

Truck had no radio, and no way to charge a phone so I could run GPS on the trip. It was given to me with no windshield washer fluid. Truck was older, and really struggled with hills along the expressway, unable in many cases to maintain even 55 miles an hour.

My transportation experience was seamless. I rented a 16' truck one way, and everything went smoothly from pickup to return. Refueling at Sam’s Club cost about $60, and the drop-off location was just 7 miles from my new place, which made things easy and stress-free. Couldn’t have asked for a better process.

Good price, truck was okay, check out and administration was very smooth. The back up camera wasn't functional and the interior of the cab was pretty dirty, but you don't expect luxury in a rental truck. Still, a little attention to maintenance would make this 5 stars instead of 3.

Damaged a surprising number of items, and I have extra-wide doors. Very much overcharging on travel and labor time

TERRIBLE!! They would not let me rent (I do not drive - I had my state ID and my driver had is license- I do this all the time) and said my driver would have to pay. Then the clerk didn't cancel the reservation even though I specifically asked him to and he said ok and I was charged a NO SHOW fee of $150! Never again!!!!

Great price, though the trucks have certainly seen some wear and tear. The truck I had flashed the change oil light constantly and the cab leaked a substantial amount of rainwater (did not leak into the box where the items were stored though) Customer service was good. This was for a one way move to a different state, so the price was very good in comparison with other companies. I would use again even in spite of some of the minuses.

The truck was great but I reserved moving blankets which I had to have and they did not provide. It was a Sunday so that limited my options. They said it was only a reservation. That really frazzled me and I ended up using every towel and blanket we owned. Now they are all taped up and I hope not ruined!

The truck was not in good working order and was returned. We ended up getting a U Haul truck that was excellent.

Will choose this over Uhaul or anyone else EVERY time. Super helpful and accoimdating

The drop was after hours. Although I filled the tank just minutes before the drop off there was a sign on the Elston site to include the gas receipt with my name on it. A pen was not much of a consideration when I went to drop off the keys. Then a charge was made larger than I expected (expected no additional charges). A rip off in my opinion.

I would advise anyone to check them out as an alternative to UHaul. We got everything we needed at a better total price.

Truck performed well and the 12" panel truck was more than enough for a one bedroom apartment - 7 pines of furniture (disassembled) and 50 or so small/medium boxes.

Truck was very much substandard, no sync to cell phone, cab was dirty, super loud inside the cab - so much we drove an hour after we lost the radio signal and did not notice the static until we stopped for gas.

Everything was in order! Competitive pricing!

A bit of a hassle due to corporate policy of going through the insurance waiver (had to call my insurance company at the rental counter and ask them specific questions to fill out a form from Budget), and the insurance would have been much higher than competitors if I would have had to take it, but the actual employees I interacted with at pick-up and drop-off were friendly and helpful. Also a bit more expensive than competitors (but at least they still had a truck available, which is why I went with Budget).

I used Budget instead of U-Haul this time because it was a lot cheaper for a move from Pompano Beach, FL across the state to Bradenton, FL. However, it was a terrible experience as they did not have the 16' truck we reserved and we had to drive a half hour to another Budget Rental place where we ended up with a 26' truck. The people at the first place did not care and though we called an hour before the scheduled pickup to say we were running late, they never told us they didn't have our truck! Thankfully, the folks in North Lauderdale were great and gave us the 26' truck for the same price as the 16'. We had to reschedule the movers who were unloading in Bradenton as we ended up being way behind schedule and it was very stressful.

The moving rental truck operated with no issues. We had no breakdowns or any problems during the entire time we drove the truck across country. I am totally satisfied with the condition and operation of the moving rental truck.

The rental moving truck functioned very well and we had no issues driving the truck across country. The fuel consumption was in line to what I expected for a moving truck.

I rented a 17 foot truck but they had a 12' truck. One of the tires was underinflated. They said that they put blankets in the truck but there were none.

16 foot truck was filthy in the cab. Had not been vacuumed in a long time. Grass remnants in seats and cup holders. Was basically a piece of junk. Cab was very loud and water leaked in on my back when driving in rain. It was a 1,000 mile one-way drive so probably wanted to get ride of it to another dealer.

I was very happy with the booking system and rates. However, the night before our move (a Friday just before 5pm) we received a call that a truck wasn't available - supposed to pick up at 10am the next morning. After multiple calls, we were told it would have to wait until Saturday morning to sort out. It was very stressful. Finally, at 8am on Saturday we called the location and they miscommunicated and did have our truck. It all worked out but the stress during an out of state move could have been prevented. Customer service at the truck pickup location was great.

Budget truck rental is a very poorly organized business. Not only did we "reserve" equipment that was not available, the equipment was not available anywhere within a 40-mile radius of us. I learned from the manager at the rental location that this was typical of Budget truck rental services.

I highly recommend Budget as their truck was dependable and staff, at both our pick-up and drop-off locations were super friendly and helpful.

Budget was affordable

Equipment in very bad condition but ease of pick up and drop off. They do not respond to requests to fix or exchange.

Truck was not ready when promised but it was due to the previous renter. Truck was great and rode nicely

Budget 16' Truck Rental worked out for one small and one large storage unit full of items.

Disappointed with overall Budget experience. Truck cab was absolutely rank and there was no way I was going to spend 30 hours in it without cleaning it myself, which I had to do. I was also given verbal information that contradicted the written contract that I signed and was caught in the middle of two Budget truck locations arguing with each other over what fuel and DEF levels I was to return the truck at. Small detail, but a real pain to deal with
