Pods have rebuilt containers, they are terrible. You lose valuable space when packing

While PODS delivered my container on time, my overall experience with their customer service and technical support was extremely disappointing. When I encountered a serious issue with the container door not opening, I reached out to their support team and was assured I would be treated as a priority. Unfortunately, that promise was not kept—there were no follow-up calls, no technician visit, and no real effort to resolve the issue. PODS seems to outsource everything—from the call center to the drivers—which makes it difficult to get consistent or accountable service. I ended up having to use a crowbar to force the door open, risking damage to the unit and my belongings. That should never happen with a professional storage company. This experience was frustrating, and it made an already stressful moving process worse. If you need reliable post-delivery support or quick issue resolution, PODS may not be the best choice

the pods were dropped off and picked up as they promised. once on their way the pods network became a total failure.

there is always a delay, an issue or problem with pods. the people were all nice, but nothing was done as they said. Cost me double for everything due to so many issues. this has been a nightmare, and I doubt I would go this route again. Promises made, not kept. Always delays, and delays. Then on this end they do not work every day, then tried to have me wait another week to get pod picked up. Was promised all would be done by a certain day. sadly, they delayed again. The local manager has tried to do all he could, but still pods seems to fail.

Excellent and on time positioning of the 8 x 16 POD. This size POD was adequate for moving the large furniture I had. I could have used another midsized POD but elected to move the rest of my goods with a follow on Uhaul truck a week later. Both methods of transportation will arrive within one day of each other. I would definitely use PODS again knowing what I have to move.

POD was delivered on time in NY, driver polite and gave me some advice on loading and locking. It was picked up on time. Delivery was also on time. Currently waiting for pick up.

We stored out belongings for over a year while our new house was being built and I was very pleased that everything came out without any damage. The pod delivery men were very good at parking and picking up both the 8’ and 16’ pods.

Definitely most cost effective renting two pods for our move from CA to TN rather than a moving company. Our pods were delivered as requested with all of our furniture just as it was packed. No regrets and would use them again.

They neglected to provide moving blankets as requested and paid for. PODS also missed a delivery and did not call to explain. Fortunately, I was able to reschedule with our unloading company without penalty. PODS is about selling their services but not great with follow-up. I will say that all the container drivers were friendly and professional.

They were very good other than i asked for an late delivery and paid extra and they dropped it off at 1pm

I was disappointed that the time promised for drop off was changed and I had to rearrange the movers that I had hired. I chose PODS due to knowing that they did long distance moves. I don't know that I would use them again. I think I would check around to see about other companies and their cost.

Pickup and delivery were as promised and nothing got tossed around inside either of the two PODS. No shifting or breaking of cargo.

Ni ace, new container with side hooks and hanging rods plus a transparent roof allowing light to illuminate the interior. Telephone reminders and questions answered. Dropped off and picked up with accurate windows then a 10 minute notice from nearby was given.

As a first time customer of PODS, I was impressed with the time spent and detail provided on each aspect of POD delivery, pick-up and storage. Follow-up emails from PODs are frequent and great for tracking each step of the process.

We needed three big containers. The first container was clean and in good shape. It had lots of tie down points available. The second container was dirty, it had sand all in it and even on the walls. It also had a wooden 4 x 4 beam support structure inside. There were a handful of eye bolts in no particular order. I was definitely not prepared to have to install or move around eye bolts. Still waiting to receive container number 3.

Communication was very good. Showed up on time. Managing everything on their APP was easy and is something I would recommend.

When we opened the door to the pod at our new location the contents were against the door and some items were broken. You really have to use their tips for loading and securing. Everything had shifted, but they rescheduled me several times upon request and were very courteous. They were on time picking up and dropping off the containers.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Coordination Unfortunately, our experience with PODS was frustrating and stressful. The customer service team seemed poorly trained and often didn’t have accurate information about their own services. We faced several last-minute schedule changes, and when we needed support, the responses were vague and unhelpful. Worst of all, our packers ended up waiting the entire day for the final container to arrive due to poor coordination. We expected better from a company of this size and reputation. Disappointed and unlikely to use their service again.

Sizing on PODS is not even close to accurate. They market the large POD as handling 3-4 bedroom moves. We do not have a lot of stuff and needed a full second moving truck for 2 bedroom city apartment.

container shifted items. a couch was keeping the door from opening and got 2 rips on the arms of my couch. the container had a latch that was half fallen off and a hole in it was covered by just tape

This was a great way to move our stuff however getting in touch with a Live person to ask questions was really hard. They do have an FAQ page but there were things that page didn't answer.

Don't really know. It should now be in the storage facility waiting for us to schedule delivery. Transportation fees were a lot - 1 POD - over $2400.
