Great way to move, just make sure if you want to keep the POD in your driveway it fits! I thought the POD would fit in the driveway, but when the driver went to the house it was too big so I had to put it on the street.

Scheduling for container p/u was difficult. Driver that picked up POD was great. Very easy to deal with...much appreciated! Our loaders were excellent. We need them again!

The $200 cost above is before storage and drop off fees. I'm not sure what those will be yet. I've always been a fan of PODS; have used them many times. This time around I underestimated the size. I got a 12ft based on the PODS website recommendation, but I really needed a 16ft. I don't think their website is inaccurate, I just did not take into account the size and bulkiness of my furniture. The drop off and pick up was routine and they were able to maneuver the POD into a parallel parking space outside my apartment. I definitely would recommend them to anyone!

All was perfect until delivery day. I needed a permit to park the POD on a deserted street per city rules. The permit people talked to the driver on the phone and I guaranteed I would pick it up (it took 15 min) but the driver would not leave my things causing me extra lodging expenses waiting for 2 more days to re-deliver and throwing off the unpackers schedule.

Have used PODS now 5 times . Has always been a good experience. Website could use a little work, mostly how details are posted, but the people have always been excellent.

The phone service is excellent with PODS. I have cancelled and changed the order many times. They are efficient and very helpful. They always try to get me the better deal.

PODs customer service was rude and slow. Every instance we needed to call we spent at minimum 15-30 min waiting on hold. Scheduling was just as bad and not reflective of the advertisement. Our move was at the end of month and POD's was trying to push our dates out almost a week even with advance notice. On our move out the driver for the day was sick and had to cancel our delivery which had to be rescheduled. We obviously escalated the issue but had similar experience once we determined our move in day. All escalations have to be routed to the location manager and they will not allow you to speak to the manager directly and the response is always done by customer service who will hah and hem about your issues and show no concern or empathy even though the issue is on there end. Side note, they claim they are really busy with work. If you are so busy why don't you hire more drivers? We chose POD's for convenience but would never recommend again. Your experience may very if you are not doing storage and completing a direct move but again I would keep your expectations low.

The actual mechanics of the process were fine. But when things went wrong--and they did-- with one exception, none of the customer service people seemed concerned enough to even try to fix the problem. Instead they just quoted rules and regulations why they couldn't do anything. This especially annoyed me since they required payments of everything up front at least five days before they performed any service. But when the service was not performed satisfactorily, it was just: "Oh, we're very sorry." Even though I still think the PODs model is a great idea, for this reason, I would not use them again.

I had a great experience with PODS. We used 2 PODS. We loaded the first ourselves (which allowed us to have more room in the house and garage for packing). We used a HireAHelper that they recommended to load the second and to unload in the new house. They were flexible in pick up and delivery time. Everything arrived on time and in good shape.

The drivers who delivered and picked up the POD were excellent. They had a professional attitude and were extremely helpful.

Studio Apartment fit inside the 7x7x8. Couch, dresser, coffee table, queen bed and box spring.

I had no idea that all my stuff could fit in the POD that I had selected! AND there was some (just a little) room left over :)

PODS followed up and went the extra mile to get my pod to my new home. This has been a great experience and the best one for me.

This is my second time using PODs. on time, reliable, easy to work with.

The drivers were considerate and on time dropping off and picking up. The second POD came in backwards, but we managed.

Pods was convenient, responsive, and aside from one poor customer service interaction I would recommend them. The one down side is price. If you have time, you may save by using a trucking company and renting a storage unit. Pods was pricey, but it was worth it given my life situation at the time.

They were great. They explained all costs up front. They delivered the POD on time and picked it up on time. They are communicating with me to understand delivery times to my new home. We pack it tight. Make sure you understand exactly what you are shipping. You may need more than one POD. Are's was 16x8.

PODS phone customer service is excellent. the Delivery driver in california had a very negative attitude, was careless, and did not pay attention to detail.

So far so good. Am currently in storage. Waiting on final delivery.

I would use PODs again, however, they were not consistent in sending notifications on when the POD would be dropped off or picked up.

Only completed first part as yet (pod delivery) but so far so good.

The truck that Umbrella Movers used was great, would have liked to have ordered one more, but I had already paid for two cool boxes before I hired the movers. If I had it all to do again I would just hire the Umbrella movers and use their trucks.

Will definitely use them again.

Professional all the way from the website to customer service to the drivers...changes I made were not a problem, a totally stressfree portion of the move

They showed up when they said they were going to and were picked up when they said they were going to. The only complaint is that I was under quoted space wise. We ended up having to store some of our things with the moving company and getting rid of others.

Good customer service however many of the tie downs were missing in the pod.

We are not done yet. Pod is still enroute to Florida. They really kept me up to date. Courteous

POD messed up original pickup for storage and then for delivery we couldn't schedule helpers to unload because driver schedules aren't made until after 6 p.m.

My move worked out very well and I am happy with the way it went.

PODS was very professional and always on time. I moved from Texas to SC into a house that needed about 3 weeks of updating, ...floors, etc so this system worked out perfectly for me. I was able to leave my furniture in the POD for 2 weeks after it arrived to get the floors done. Perfect otherwise I would have to load in Texas, move it all to SC, unload into a storage unit, the re-load and move it into my house. Recommend service.

Some things were broken, things shifted around.

The delivery & pick up of the POD was right on schedule. I received a call both times prior to delivery. Amazing how little time it took to load the POD onto the truck...podzilla is great. Would definitely use them again.

Process is just starting but has so far has been a positive experience.

originally hired mayflower, but there was an issue with the drop off and pick up aspect, so i needed a container quick. PODS was available when i needed it. they also turned out to be over $500 cheaper. everything went smooth. if i move cross country again, PODS will be the first i call, not the last

PODs was on time and kept me informed. It was as extremely well coordinated effort.

PODS provided accurate information over the phone, service was helpful, containers were delivered and pick up timely with notice before arriving. Would recommend.

The jury is still out on the PODS. One of the PODS has signs of water damage, so I'm hoping my stuff stays dry. I'll know when I go to get my stuff out.

THE POD GUY CAME AND IN FACT TOLD ME ABOUT MISSING EYES , WHAT DID I KNOW , I'M A GIRL SO WHEN THE PACKERS CAME THEY TOLD ME THEY NEEDED EYES TO TIE UP MY STUFF ,OHHHH THAT'S WHAT THE POD GUY MEANT, SO I HAD TO RUN AND BUY SOME... THE POD SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO MY HOME WITH MISSING PARTS NEEDED FOR MOVING , LET ALONE THE POD GUY POINTING THEM OUT!!!! OTHER THEN THAT IT WAS OK.
