U-Haul® Reviews
Great truck. Only complaint is the lack of electric windows. I had flies and a moth riding with me the entire time and couldn't get the windows down to blow them out. The position of the window roll-up was very poorly located by Ford near my shin and was inaccessible. The irritation I had with bugs keeps me from giving this an excellent rating.
The Lake Oswego U-Haul needs to hire people who know what they're doing, not sitting around looking at their phones all day. It was a headache dealing with them for a week and made me not want to deal with UHaul. Thankfully there were a few people who valued their jobs and were good at it but I would still avoid using them in the future. Also, they didn't have the truck size I reserved so I ended up with a size smaller (20 ft) which was like driving a 4 cylinder and we had to leave stuff behind that wouldn't fit. It was not pleasant. I would not recommend using a full 20ft UHaul truck and pulling your car on the back, especially if you will be driving through mountainous terrain. Enjoy creeping up the hills behind the slowest semi trucks with the heat on or run the risk of overheating.
Not the best experience. They changed my pickup location just 20 minutes before my reservation began. I went from being to drive 2 miles to having to drive 20 to get my truck. They've got to find a way to account for trucks not being returned on time, so that the next customer isn't left hanging. This threw a pretty big wrench in my move day to say the least. They did comp part of my rental so that I'd come out paying close to what I was originally supposed to. Without that, I would have ended up paying over $100 for my rental including gas.
U-Haul has one corporate office in Everett, WA. You have to be very careful with them. 1. You have to find your own most logical local pick-up / drop off location, i.e., closest to your location. 2. You have to know more about their U-Box size than they do. 3. I ordered a 10 ft truck. 4. U-Haul Office "thought" 1 U-Box would handle the 10 ft truck content. 5. I learned otherwise. 6. They even have a corporate job aid showing a 10 ft truck = TWO U-Boxes. 7. Luckily, I'm an excellent Project Manager, i.e., I follow-up on everything to verify accuracy. 8. I literally had to Project Manage U-Haul & their process.

The Company was able to send a two man team at the last minute, due to another company's emergency cancelation. The two men were very pleasant and courteous to work with, informative and Extremely efficient in the way they worked together and with us, they loaded my U-Haul perfectly. This was a Great Crew to have for this and I recommend EZ Move to any and everyone that is looking for moving help. I give the crew and the company 5 Stars.
I reserved 2 months in advance for an out of state move. The day before my move they called telling me they didn't have the truck size I reserved and also changed the location of my truck pick up which was another 15 minutes in the opposite direction. The did give me extra miles and an extra day seeing that I was getting a smaller truck and needed to make 2 trips. The day of my move I was called 3 hours before I was to pick up the truck and was told I would have to drive an hour away (to another state) to pick up the truck. The day I returned the truck to the location that I agreed to in my reservation I was told at drop off that I was a day late and at the wrong location. At some point they changed my dropoff location another hour away. I walked away and left the truck at the location I agreed to in the first place. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I'd never use Uhaul again.
Rented a 15' truck and vehicle trailer to pull a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. Moving from a ~1400sqft 3br/2ba house into a 1150sqft 2br/2ba 2nd floor apartment. Ended up upgrading to a 20' truck - probably could have made the 15' work, but it would have been a tight squeeze. Pickup/dropoff went smoothly, and the agent at my departure location was a total bro and added on an extra few days of truck rental for no charge.
Truck worked fine. My reservation was converted to a 24/7 Truck Share rental even though I requested a counter pickup. The checkout/checkin process for Truck Share is a little fussy, and despite the "24/7" in the name, I found that when I attempted a late-evening return, I couldn't access the parking lot where I was told to leave the truck (the gate was locked). I had to leave the truck in another area instead.
