Uhaul saved the day when Budget did not have a truck available anywhere near me even know it had been reserved for six weeks.

Staff was courteous and very professional. Everything was in order when we picked up the truck in VA. This was a one-way trip to NC. No problems dropping off the truck in NC.

18 hours before I was supposed to pick up a 20 foot truck for a one-way rental, they informed me I would have to drive 135 miles to get the truck. I quickly changed to Penske, who had a truck for me just 2 miles from my home and rented it to me at the last minute.

10 ft truck for a local move - not sure if this truck has cruise control for a longer drive. No cruise control would have been a problem for a long drive.

Initially charged me for fuel, even though I filled it back to where it was when I picked it up. I to call a few places before they took care of it. They did fix the error. Thank you

We reserved a U-Haul truck through Jam Pac, on Broad River Road in Irmo, SC, for transport. Horrible experience. Arrived early to pick up truck and no one was in the store front. Waited 2 hours; called repeatedly but only got the voice mail; and no one has contacted me to explain why the store was locked up during working hours and why no one was there to handle our reservation. I even talked with the woman who was to assist us, on the morning of the move, and she said she would be at the store by 12:30 PM. Did not happen and we had to scramble to borrow a really small truck so that we didn't lose any of our HireAHelper time. Very stressful and really, really unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone for U-Haul needs.

Uhaul always a good choice

The truck company was good, however the people that we rented the truck from was not so good. We rented from State Line Auto in North Augusta, South Carolina. Had the truck scheduled between 9-10. We’ll come to find out they don’t open till 10. When I made the reservation the lady said nothing about opening at 10. They said oh the time is on the web site, I did not go to the web site. I don’t think I will be using them again.

Cost effective using U-haul for a couple hour move.

Excellent service truck do not hire a helper at all!

We paid around $1400 for the 26' truck with insurance and 20 moving blankets. We have it for 5 days and are driving 600 miles.

Very easy to do business with. Not picky. Told me what to do and how to do it - when and where. everything went very smoothly from start to finish.

Only issue was that I reserved one truck class and got upgraded to a truck 3 times larger than the one I had reserved - the fuel costs were a bit high

Uhaul helped us find a truck that we needed even when they were high demand. We were very happy with the service we received. The truck was clean and we didn't experience a single issue with the truck's operation!

I've only completed the loading so far, but the process of reserving and picking up the U-Haul truck went very smoothly. The truck is well designed, with a nice loading ramp, and a deck that is not too high. They will provide moving blankets, hand trucks, etc. for a reasonable fee.

I was never called, emailed or texted that my truck was changed to a different location than what I booked for. When I arrived the place was not even open I had to wait an hour when the owners showed up the wife was very rude when I was trying to make sure I was at the right place and explain that I had done my order for a different location. I had to wait another hour for them to open and get the truck ready. When I returned the truck I was charged for not folding the blankets when I was trying to explain it was pouring down rain and I was too short to climb up in the back of the truck so I could fold them she didn’t care.

Uhaul of greece were excellent. The truck was clean and ready for me at the pickup time. They went through everything with me, and when I turned it in, it was fast and easy.

The Uhaul location had given our rental to someone else the night before and only discovered that when I showed up and no other 26 foot truck was available. Since Uhaul had changed my rental location the day before I called my preferred (larger) location and someone had just returned a 26 foot one way truck so I was able to get that truck. That Uhaul location was very helpful and had the truck ready to go by the time we arrived. That Uhaul location would get 5 stars. The truck was in good shape and relatively new. The only issue for me was that a previous renter had apparently chain smoked in the cab. I drove for 600 miles with the window down for fresh air. So this Uhaul rental was a mixed bag; some really good, some not so good and one near catastrophe of being without a truck when I had to move out that day.

The process of renting and return of the truck was somewhat tedious.

Overall the experience was good, but the mobile app truck pickup was awful. I got stuck in a loop and ended up losing time while a team member recreated the rental at the counter traditionally.

There was some confusion at first about where we could pick up the truck but it all worked out perfectly and the location where we got it was great to work with.

The moving unit initially looked a lot smaller than expected when it arrived...my uncle rented it and drove it to our home. However, all of our items fit inside and things worked out perfectly.

Uhaul is the worst. And this move was the worst experience with them yet. I need to find another company and stop using them; I'm frustrated, disappointed, angry, and incredibly inconvenienced every time (on top of the stressors of moving).

stay away from Garner U-HAUL

Great in all ways. Easy return of truck. Wished the clerk at the truck rental in PA had asked if I needed a padlock. Never gave it a thought.

Easy to use. They charged for things they said they would not. However, Uhaul is reasonably priced and easy to rent from.

I did not had any issues with U-haul.
