The Uhaul location had given our rental to someone else the night before and only discovered that when I showed up and no other 26 foot truck was available. Since Uhaul had changed my rental location the day before I called my preferred (larger) location and someone had just returned a 26 foot one way truck so I was able to get that truck. That Uhaul location was very helpful and had the truck ready to go by the time we arrived. That Uhaul location would get 5 stars. The truck was in good shape and relatively new. The only issue for me was that a previous renter had apparently chain smoked in the cab. I drove for 600 miles with the window down for fresh air. So this Uhaul rental was a mixed bag; some really good, some not so good and one near catastrophe of being without a truck when I had to move out that day.

The process of renting and return of the truck was somewhat tedious.

On time, courteous, and did not waste time.

Overall the experience was good, but the mobile app truck pickup was awful. I got stuck in a loop and ended up losing time while a team member recreated the rental at the counter traditionally.

There was some confusion at first about where we could pick up the truck but it all worked out perfectly and the location where we got it was great to work with.

The moving unit initially looked a lot smaller than expected when it arrived...my uncle rented it and drove it to our home. However, all of our items fit inside and things worked out perfectly.

Using the app to pickup and drop off was straightforward and easy. Truck was clean and ran well

Uhaul is the worst. And this move was the worst experience with them yet. I need to find another company and stop using them; I'm frustrated, disappointed, angry, and incredibly inconvenienced every time (on top of the stressors of moving).

stay away from Garner U-HAUL

Great in all ways. Easy return of truck. Wished the clerk at the truck rental in PA had asked if I needed a padlock. Never gave it a thought.

Easy to use. They charged for things they said they would not. However, Uhaul is reasonably priced and easy to rent from.

I did not had any issues with U-haul.

Broke a piece of furniture

Truck was clean and worked fine. Reservation was for 1 PM but the office for the storage place was closed for lunch till 1:30 (even though we had made the reservation for 1 PM and not told that time was not available). We had to make an extra trip. Fortunately, I had allowed some lag time before the movers arrived, so i didn't have movers sitting around waiting for the truck.

Almost new 26' Ford van rode like a truck, even when fully loaded. Cabin interior, being HD, not exactly cushy. We drove non-stop, so resting at truck stops and rest areas was difficult. Problem with wiring harness on auto transport caused problem on truck, delayed about 2 hours while UHaul did repairs. I blame this on a previous idiot user who did not report damage on transporter. Generous allowance for miles and days. Pick-up dealer was good, drop-off dealer charged me for extra miles I didn't use, but Uhaul remedied this later. I chose Uhaul because they offer an auto transport. Have used Uhaul several times, and will probably do so again.

We had one issue with one of the trucks on the way and Uhaul addressed it and got us going in quickly!

The truck was just the right size and handled well. The pick-up was a hassle but that was more the pickup location's fault than UHaul's.

Everything arrived safe and sound and the dispatch on both ends of our service were excellent and super helpful.

I rented a 6x12' trailer and it was a perfect fit for what I needed. I always use them for moving myself.

truck drove nicely, but used a lot of fuel, 20 foot truck

Uhaul in Lawrence was great. The drop off location was good also.

Great people at the UHaul on Memorial in Avondale Estates. Plenty of places to park while using one of the trucks.

The truck drove very well.

Professional and flexible. Used a 20' truck to move our 2 bedroom apartment across the country. Made amendments to our reservation on short notice and were helpful in accommodating issues that arose during moving.

The self-check-in made everything very fast. I skipped the line and got my key and left. I would recommend using the self-check-in option.

Standard UHaul. Got the truck, loaded it, unloaded it, returned it.

I have worked with the UHaul franchise in Vacaville for years and am pleased with their level of service. Other franchises not-so-good.

Smooth rental and return. We rented in Valparaiso, IN and returned the truck to Lakeland, FL.

Truck was filthy inside the cab and truck. The blankets I needed were strewn all over the truck, no bag was there and the blankets were wet. The UHAUL in Windsor (Goo Rooz) has bad reviews to begin with, but they were the only location with the truck size I needed. I ordered a dolly and it wasn't in the truck. I had to stop by another UHAUL Dealer prior to this rental and they warned me about renting a truck from Goo Rooz. It was too late to make other arrangements. Reconsider another UHAUL dealer if Goo Rooz comes up in your rental!

Very easy to coordinate.

I had a terrible experience with this move. Uhaul's app for no contact pickup bugged out on me and after an hour of sitting at the pickup location, trying to get it to work (I even tried converting to standard pickup because of the issues, but that failed, too), I finally canceled the reservation and just went inside to do it manually with a new order. It was ridiculous. Just choose the standard pickup if you want to avoid problems.

I rented a U-Haul truck from Baltimore, MD to Chicago. Smooth ride. When I arrived at my destination, the weather was bad and the U-Haul drop off said to leave the truck in the parking lot and they would be happy to come and get it. Talk about great service!

The truck was in a good condition but it was a bit noisy to drive. Uhaul pick-up using mobile was not very friendly. But the truck did save me a lot of money. Movers would have charged $200-$300 bucks but I got it done in less than $70.

Kind of hard to screw up a truck rental, but U-Haul found a way to do it. Will not be using them again.

Service was as expected. The truck I rented broke down on the interstate 2x in one day. This was a problem and it ended up costing me a TV due to having these problems. I'll probably go with a Penske next time. Everytime I use UHaul I have problems.

It was great. They came on time and got everything in one stop. They put everything down where I needed it and were really fast.

On time, clean, easy on-line check-in and check-out. Couldn't have been better.
