I realized I needed one extra POD at the last minute and they were able to accommodate my needs. The drivers were respectful and helpful.

I was so not happy. They picked my things up on a Tuesday which was the day after Memorial Day (May 29) said my container would arrive to my new location on June 4. Well we didn’t receive our container until June 7. So they had my things for a week and a half. When they called to say it would be delayed they offered no explanation as to why. The delay meant we had to push everything else back as far as getting our new home in order (cable internet security and everything else). We were here for four days with nothing. Not to mention we ordered the biggest container they had and we had (professional pack it) it was NOT big enough for our things 2 bedrooms, living room and boxes. So we had to spend another $2000 dollars on a rental truck that’s on top of $3000 we paid for the PODS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING PODS. It’s best to just hire a moving company and let them do the work at least you’ll have your things the same day you arrive. PODS may be good for storage but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them for long distance move. LESSON LEARNED HERE

used Pods the containers arrived as planned in Wi were shipped to Bristal CT . Yes I would use them again . Pick up of the pods after they were emtpy was a little mixed up but all in all everything went well .

Used PODS to load a bunch of things from a 3 bedroom house while also using a truck separately for belongings in more immediate need of; used a 16' Pod here and had about 2 bedrooms-worth of our things. Pod as advertised, but did have some issues moving it off property after loading it up due to rain and it being placed close to grass -- mover who took pod to final destination tore up the grass pretty good trying to get it onto the truck when using the Podzilla. Noticed a small area where water pooled (about a 1x1 foot area) in the back left corner of pod when loading -- dried it off, but found some very slight water damage to a headboard upon final delivery, so assume there was a tiny leak somewhere that got to our stuff, despite wrapping it up to prevent any damage. Website and customer service were great and helped make the process easy. Would more than likely use again given price and ease of the whole process, but given challenges with weather and grassy areas, may reconsider, depending on how long we would need pod.

We would definitely recommend both PODS as a company and pod containers as a moving alternative. The container was clean and well maintained. The method of loading and unloading the container onto their truck was something to behold, too complicated to relate here. The important point was that the POD was kept stable and level during the process. No dangling or swinging. No damage to our belongings. Good communications. On time. Walked us through the process. Price as quoted. One note: The statistics are a bit misleading. We moved into a two bedroom unit, but it was already mostly furnished so less than the expected amount of stuff. Move was one 7' POD, mostly boxes. We packed.

I would have rated them higher except that they didn't send enough PODS which resulted in me having to try to get another one ASAP. I was put on hold for a long time and then told I wouldn't be able to get another one for 6 days. I had to try to get Uhaul and a storage unit. PODs did come through at the end but I was a mess.

The fort myers manager was helpful, promptly delivered the container and arranged for a quick pick up when empty. Delivery drivers were on time and very professional. The staff from the Fort Myers facility were excellent.

This was a great way to move all of our stuff and as stress free as possible. We used 2 PODS to move and the first one was an older model with a plywood floor that initially we were concerned about until we realized how they were constructed and the reinforcements under the POD. The second one was a newer fiberglass POD with a composite floor that held most of heavy furniture including a 1000lb safe. The delivery and pick was excellent and the customer service we received over the phone from booking to completion was some of the best we have ever had. The people were knowledgable, courteous, helpful, and just a delight to talk with. They were available to answer all of questions no matter what time it was so very efficient with their work. We would definitely use them again if we ever had to move long distance again.

Everything was fine - delivery, service - except orientation: I requested door orientation to the driveway - they changed it in paper work to facing the house without telling anything. Thanks to driver wno ,turned it door to the street and we worked it out.

Some items feel kinda blocked door

PODs is great for the convenience. Unfortunately, my experience this time around has been less than stellar. Any time I have to call customer service, I'm on hold for 10-15 minutes, and I have to call because we are dealing with a long distance move. We were on a tight turn around, so it was pertinent our PODs got picked up on time. They assured myself and the new owners of the home the containers would be gone by 4pm. I received a phone call at 8pm that neither of the two were picked up, and there wasn't any way they could go get them. And, it was a holiday weekend, so they'd have to remain for an additional two days. The new owners were very upset. They had to figure out how to move into their new home with our containers in their way. I also ordered locks which they didn't have in stock, which is not a big deal except I was charged for them. I love the convenience of PODs, and in our particular situation, we had to go with them, but I am disappointed in our experience this time around.

It was great! Getting the PODS container was the BEST decision ever. It was easy, convenient and helped relieve so much stress that comes with moving. What I loved the most is that the container gets delivered, you take your time loading your belongings, at your own pace, your own schedule and then they picked it up and store it! Its great! I will never rent a U-Haul again or rent a storage unit. I highly recommend a PODs Storage Unit.
