PODS is conveniently set up for scheduling online, or by phone. The site is easy to navigate, and the reps are very helpful. I've ordered three PODS at three different locations, and all of the delivery times and pick-up schedules went like clock-work. The first POD, was to move my son's things across the country. He was moving in between apartments, and it was very convenient to be able to store the POD while he looked for a new place. The second POD went from my home to an apartment, which was handy, and the third, from an apartment into storage, for an indefinite period of time; also helpful. The drivers are skilled at "landing" the PODS, as well as being accommodating. (It's an interesting process to watch!) I also like the fact that PODS emails and calls to let you know what the arrival window is, and the driver contacts you to say he's on his way. I chose PODS because it's very well known, and they've had years of experience. I'm glad I did!
These guys were fabulous! I was in a crisis, facing an improperly loaded container, with more furniture and boxes sitting in my garage. Highly recommend Washington Moving Labor Services; by the time I returned from taking a load of trash to the dump, they had partially unloaded, then re-loaded the remaining items into the PODS container. These guys saved my life!!
They answered questions and didn't push when I needed to coordinate with COOP Bd before setting dates. They worked with Super with drop-off and pick-up and things went smoothly. The driver contacted me by phone when he was 30 minutes out. The only problem was in booking; I couldn't book pick-up and drop off on same call. I needed to call back. Since I needed to provide all the moving supplies, including blankets, ropes, etc., it was too stressful to have to worry about making that second scheduling call. Yes, I would definitely use them again.
They promised me My delivery in 9 days and could not deliver. Their logistics department does not care at all about the customer. Their customers service is great and take all the complaints for the logistics department that can't even leave their name or direct number. For the price I paid, I expect much more. Don't use PODS!
Using PODS was easy, the container was very clean when it arrived. The customer service on the phone and in person was excellent, everyone was very courteous and helpful. They notified of arrival time and the drivers called me on route to let me know as well. They were helpful with tips about packing the POD. Overall very cost effective and would definitely use them again if needed
The backend of Pods in customer service made multiple mistakes in scheduling the long distance delivery of my two 16 ft. Containers. The Service Representatives that assisted me in scheduling and re-scheduling my delivery date did not schedule the correct date and when my Closing got moved up they were able to bring my delivery date forward, but only applied the date change to one pod! I constantly double checked any changes online to ensure the reps did their updates correctly. Conversely, the drivers/operators were awesome. They communicated effectively and were superbly proficient at their jobs!
When I placed the order, they said they could deliver the POD and locate the it across my lawn to near my front door and then after it was filled -- move it to another location on grass at the back of my property. The delivery man said they never should have said that. He refused to do what had been arranged with POD and placed the pod on a stone driveway about 80 feet away from my door. I had to make arrangements to have it storred elsware at considerable additional cost. I think the delivery man was correct his "podZilla" mover machine could not have handled my lawn when empty let alone full" The people who made the reservation should talk to the people who deliver the PODS,
