i was really disappointed in the scheduling aspect of PODS. Because of availability, I had to take possession of the POD more than 10 days before I wanted it. Then there was a week delay from the time I called to have the full POD picked up until it actually was picked up. Then from that point I had to wait 13 days to receive my POD. I only moved 250 miles away! Other than the scheduling issues, I loved working with PODS.

PODS is great. No problems. Great communication.

Pods was the perfect choice for my situation. I had a local storage unit that was filled. Loading over 20 years of memories into a large pod, then relocating it to my current home the same day. After sorting for weeks, I added furniture and appliances for a final move to my new home. All this took 2 months to accomplish, but was well worth it in the end. Thanks pods

This was my first time using PODS and I am totally satisfied with the entire experience, from the agents on the phone to each of the drivers during pick-up and drop-off. It couldn't have been any more convenient and I would definitely use them again.

Great PODS experience. Nice customer service, driver was a good guy who helped the movers out a bit.

Always called me the night before delivery or removal of the PODS container; posted on my online account where the container was at all times. Showed up on time, were careful not to run over my grass. All of my belongings were safe and dry when finally unloaded after the PODS was almost 3 months in a locked storage facility. Billed me exactly as they said they would. I chose PODS because I needed to store my belongings and live in a short term, furnished rental while I looked for a new house. I didn't want to move and unpack my belongings twice in a short period of a few months. It worked out very well.

We went with PODS for our move from San Francisco to San Diego. A leading "turn-key" mover quoted us $14,800 to pack, store (30 days) and un-pack the house. That sounded crazy so we opted to POD-it. The three 16 foot PODS we rented came to $6200 door-to-door, however the mover-labor in San Francisco was expensive at $3K to pack. Unloading in San Diego was well under $1K, so in all it was $10K for PODS vs. nearly $15K for a leading mover. It was still a lot of work and navigating your PODS pick up and delivery when using 3 containers is complex. You just need to be sure the POD you order will fit where you need it, as some cities (San Diego) don't allow them on the street and the POD crane they use to place your POD won't fit under a carport. PODS personnel were very professional and helpful on both ends of the move. Again, you just need to be sure your POD will fit where you need it, legally. Most complaints are from people who failed to find this out until it was time for delivery.

The Pods arrived in very good clean condition. They were careful dropping off, and picking the Pod up.

Johnny called ahead to verify arrival. He asked us first where we want the POD placed before offload from the large hydraulic equipped truck. Johnny placed the POD Unit exactly where we wanted it allowing a great place to load our furniture. This is the first time we have used a POD. WONDERFUL service and caring Customer Service oriented staff.

Cost effective and easy to work with. Had one glitch with my initial pickup of the POD but everything was worked out. I love how there were no hidden costs -- everything was stated upfront.

I was very satisfied with the gentlemen at PODs. They arrived when they said they would and were very professional. I would definitely use PODs again.

Kept us informed, arrived timely, and did their very best to avoid damage to our lawn, driveway and goods in storage.

The space was very tight that he had to back into and he just missed the top of the gas line.

Super shady company. Hidden charges if you want same-day pick up of the unit, even when they tell you that your booking includes drop off/pick up of the unit and return to the storage unit (I booked to store the unit at their facility for one month, which they charged me for but then didn't arrange for). My bed frame also got broken in the move of the unit.

Somewhat difficult-to-use website and invoicing (not easy to understand/decipher); talking with someone doesn't help (they use the same system). Delivery driver was terrific. Not yet picked up or transported, so review is limited to period from order to delivery of empty PODS.

Container size worked well. Excellent customer service during scheduling and pick-up and deliveries. I would definitely use them again.

Came a little later than expected. Pod was clean and size they recommended was adequate.

The pod holds more than I thought, delivery and pick up was on time, still waiting for the unit on the other end, I expect everything will go smoothly and as expected.

On the Santa Fe end, I need to make an Excellent rating. It was on the Spokane end of the move where I was left without any idea where to find my POD and there was a lack of professional courtesy involved.

Great service - my only issue was that I could never schedule online - it might have been a glitch with the site. Everyone very helpful and friendly.

Everything went exactly as planned. I had sensitive HOA's to deal with and there service was professional and courteous.

Ok company but their truck "broke down" the day they were to pick up my container ans so it delayed my entire move by 1 to 3 days. Likely won't use again.

I had 2 PODS. ALL 4 drivers were very nice and accommodating.

Great. Pricey but I cannot get the same outcome with a moving company.

This was a pack, store, and redeliver. Everything came back in the pod just like it was when it left. No damages. Very happy.

delivery was a hassle and they almost did not deliver it til a week after it was scheduled - they do not inform you of the fact that although they advertise for it to go in the street it is not allowed in the street and delivery guys will not put it there. - i ordered 3 blankets received one. When they delivered it to the new home instead of take the time to adjust the direction of the container due to the landscape they just dropped it down - causing us to take an hour to open the door.

Pod was delivered timely - has not yet been transported to storage facility.

The containers were clean, the drivers who delivered them to our home were efficient and courteous, and our furniture arrived in excellent condition.

Very easy and affordable way to move across the country

This was an easy process and affordable. It is smart to have the pod delivered one day and have the movers come the next day, so you don' t have to worry about coordinating.

So far very satisfied, not finished yet but have used previously and we were very happy with service.
