Initial delivery and destination pick went trouble free. Thought I'd get more into the 16' long Pod since most boxes were already moved to new location. Had to put some furnishings in personal van.

Using PODS was very interesting but good.

Working with PODS was easy and convenient. I was contacted by Keith Martin in special services due to the moving restrictions in New York City. It was helpful to have a personal contact throughout the process. They worked with me to arrive during alternate side parking to maximize the chance of getting a spot right in front of my apartment building. The driver arrived early and was able to park directly in front of my building. The POD was clean and the lock and furniture blankets I ordered arrived with the POD. The only hiccup was that the rope I had ordered did not arrive and there was some miscommunication somewhere along the line, as I did not receive it in the mail as I should have -- though I did not know until the day of my move that the rope was supposed to have been shipped to me -- I was expecting it would arrive with the other supplies I ordered. The driver of the truck, Nina, was fabulous. She stood outside the container and kept an eye on all of my belongings while the POD was being loaded. Overall, it was a great experience. Hopefully the delivery of my belongings will go as smoothly as the pick-up.

This was a perfect method for us to transport our household goods. The pod was always delivered and picked up in a timely manner and the workers were always pleasant and helpful. They placed the pod in a couple of challenging locations: first on a tree-lined circular driveway and then on a fairly steep slope. The pod was clean and held much more than I had anticipated. I would recommend them to friends and use them again myself.

I had problems with customer service and their billing process earlier. They could not meet my requested date to deliver the POD despite calling 10 days in advance, theirs web site recommends 3-5 day advance notice. The day before the scheduled delivery they called to reschedule the delivery which created problems for the crew I hired to unload the pod. Fortunately they were able to schedule it for the next day without an additional charge. I had to have the pod parked on a public street and had permission to have it there for 48 hours so, I scheduled the pickup for the day after delivery. The day it was scheduled to be picked up no one arrived or called. I called the company who told that a truck broke down and they cancelled my pick up. This was on a Friday and they would not pick it up until Monday because it was empty it was a low priority. I told them it was on a street and needed to be removed right away, and they said that was not their problem. Also be aware that PODS does not prorate their billing, go one day into the next billing schedule and you will be charged for a total month. This is what happened to me despite the fact that it was their fault due to the missed delivery date!

The delivery of the pods was good. They picked it up when I wanted them too. There was a problem with the first pod, in that I had requested it to be left in the storage area until I could have it re dilivered to my condo to continue filling it. It was a misunderstanding between both the PODS operator and myself. This resulted in the POD being shipped to the final destination less than half full. I had to have another POD delivered and pay the long distance fee twice. Because of the tapes it was decided that PODS did not have to make and adjustment to the account.

Excellent!!! I had email and phone confirmation of eta for PODS container delivery the night before. The driver called the morning of to say he was on his way and would arrive within 15 minutes which he did. The initial delivery was seamless and the driver very professional and cautious about placing plywood to guard against tearing up the grass or damaging a sprinkler head off the driveway. Great service!!!

We needed a moving option that would allow us to store our belongings for several months while we visited family members. PODS was a perfect solution. The scheduling was easy, they were there on time, and our belongings arrived in good condition.

PODs was wonderful - great communication and service.

The driver who installed the 2 pods into our driveway took extreme care to avoid damaging our property as our one driveway was not wide enough to bring the pod fully into position. But his expert judgement allowed the pod to be perfectly placed and balanced at just the right angle to allow the pod to sit at the far end of the driveway but out of the way of street traffic

They were very professional and performed just as expected. The rates were reasonable, and I would recommend them!

PODS was a bit expensive but the service was very good and our stuff was very well protected in the container that was in storage for 3 months at a PODS facility before it got delivered back to us.

Very organized. I appreciated the quick response to changes. Pick up a drop off perfect. But I only got a fraction of what I thought I could fit into the POD. I wish I'd been better coached on that. Had to put a bunch of stuff in storage and hire an additional truck later on.

Two improvement areas. 1) the screws holding the floor boards down weren't screwed all the way making it difficult to slide items. i understand vibrations cause this but perhaps a better design should be considered 2) we needed a permit for parking the POD in the street and when I called to set up delivery the customer service person was ignorant of this fact and told us that we either had to park it in the grass or come pick up the items from the storage facility.

The container was clean and arrived right on schedule according to when we set up.

Great but extremely expensive...the customer service is outstanding but I was shocked at the extra charges for delivering them just 20 miles beyond the original start location....if I had to move again, I would shop around first.

They went out of their way to help me choose the correct size POD for my needs. I had to change dates along the way due to scheduling and they were more then helpful to get the info right. They are a smooth running company and I was very impressed with them.

First time using PODS and I'd do it again. You get a call telling you the window of drop off/pick up and the driver calls you 20-10 min before they arrive. All my things arrived safely. It shifted a little but I probably could have done a better job of securing it. All in all, I am happy!

They were very good. They came and did the job in a professional way.

My furniture was all damaged due to poor packing and the shaking that it underwent through the POD. I would definitely not use POD again unless I packed it myself(which I have done with success in the past) and secured it really well.

Delivered and picked up as needed. There were several additional expenses involved which kicked up my total bill to better than $3100.00. This seems a little expensive since the cost to send the POD costs $1565.00. Rental for two months was $606.00. I will have to take a hard look at what I really need in order to use PODS again.

Transportation method: Excellent Container condition: Very Good Price Comparison vs U-Haul (driving truck): Cheaper! I would use them again. Drivers were friendly and helpful. The driver that unloaded the POD at my destination helped me when I made a mistake with which side the door needed to be on! BIG HELP!!

Pods were delivered on time and placed exactly where we needed them placed. We didn't even have to be there for the delivery.

PODS met all expectations. The sq foot assessment and PODS units needed were short. So, figure you have more than you are describing to PODS rep.

PODS were fine. You need a good packing job on the front end so your possessions don't get damaged during travel. Make sure you have sufficient room if using multiple PODS.

Suggestion would be when the pod is emptied have pickup easier to arrange instead of waiting days. I realize summer is a busy time of year.

Great service. I like POS (vs PackRat) because you can log into your own account and monitor.

We used PODS to load up our house outside of DC when we put our house on the market. We were able to declutter our house and load about half of our belongings and have the pod removed while we showed it. Then we had it brought back and finished filling it before having it brought to Florida. Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful from the phone staff to the drivers. It was a great way to move. I would do it again

They kept our furniture for 11 days. Expected (because we were told )to get our furniture in 6-7 days. Would not use again.

We would never use pods again. They ended up being way more expensive than what was originally quoted. They did not drop off the container where promised, as a result, it was necessary to rent a truck, load it, unload it and bring the stuff to the pod. All at additional time, work and expense?
