PODS was the best option for me to go with for my long distance move. The customer service was the best both of us asking as many questions to make sure my move went smoothly. It is fairly priced as well with affordable payment options. This is the best option if you are okay with not having your stuff with you for a few weeks. The container sent to me was very clean could have been brand new. I would 100% use them again for all my moving needs. I'm recommending them to anyone who'll listen.

They knew how to load up the pod

Pods was very efficient and everything worked out well.

The only issue was that the POD's carrier was driven about a foot off of the driveway onto the rocks of my front yard, resulting in some deep gouges that we have to smooth out. It was possibly unavoidable, but thought it needed mention.

The drivers were communicative and friendly, and very competent delivering and retrieving my two 16' containers in some tight spaces. The costs were clearly explained, and as my schedule and details changed they issued updated statements that were easy to access in my PODS online account. All in all it seems like a well run, orderly operation and I would use it again for a major move.

Empty POD delivery was on time and pickup was on time. The driver was excellent in putting the POD where I wanted it. Same at the unloading location.

Mice were in my POD container! I asked for them to refund my money for the two months of storage that I paid for, but they informed me that the contract did not cover damage from rodents. So, READ your contract!!!!

It was delivered and picked up on time. The only complaint is that the door is extremely hard to open and close, even when it is empty.

The company provides excellent service. Their drivers are great. The only difficulty we had was in our initial estimate of how many/what-type of containers we needed. After discussion with PODS rep, we estimated one 16' POD with another 8' POD as backup. In reality it took two full 16' PODs and could probably have used another 8' POD as backup. We ultimately wound up loading the car full, and carrying several pickup loads to Goodwill.

Overall, the benefits of using a POD came through with my move from Chicago to California. I'd use them again in the same circumstance -- when I don't know where I'm moving to.

Every thing worked out well with no breakage.

The door on the POD had to bre closed by Hosea becasue I could not get it to close to be locked. I also cannot get the door to roll open. There is nothing in the way or impeding the movement, I think it is messed up.

Clearly know what they are doing. Easy to understand the process. Many checks by text message and e-mail along the way to assure all was on schedule

The Pods team is handling all of the transportation, and so far they have been fantastic. Everything is as promised.

Will not use Pods again, they over charged me and still trying to charge me after the move. Spoke with many agents and they don't know how to fixed it or stop their automated system from charging me.

I was specific in ordering and nothing was correct. Pod was late. The place I had requested it to go was incorrect and now my things will be delayed 10 plus days.

PODS are an excellent way to as long as you're in their service area. I'd definitely consider them again in any future move. Good people, on-time, solid service all the way around. Best of all - no surprises. They said, this is what you'll get, and that's what I got. Until our destination was outside their service area (which we knew was a risk). Then we had the burden of unloading the PODs and loading up a rental truck to drive to the destination. Certainly not their fault, but definitely something to keep in mind.

This was the 3rd time using PODS. Although this final time has not been completed yet as I await the final touches on my new home, so far this move has been equal to or better than the first two times which went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend PODS.

PODS headquarters confirmed multiple times there would be someone at the PODS hub office to inform the movers and I which container was ours to unload into for monthly storage, but no one was there. I walked around in the open warehouse yelling out "anybody here?" My movers and I lost 20 mins. (that I paid for) trying to find someone, then I had to call PODS headquarters to resolve the issue; only THEY have direct contact with PODS hub staff.

excellent so far. They are easy to deal with and I had to adjust drop off pick up times due to delays on my part. They were able to accommodate all my requests. The move is from WI to NC. I will update review once it's all delivered, but it sounds like everything is on track at this point.
