I was very pleased. Everything fit in the pod and was transported without damage.

I have issues with some of my items getting damaged. I saw my POD after it was loaded, and it was fully loaded, and strapped down, but when we opened it up, boxes and other items had fallen forward making it difficult to get the door open. The people who transported it from the San Diego facility to my apartment, and the one who picked it up afterwards were much better than the ones in Tennessee.

PODS delivered on time and I was able to change my pickup date and they were very accommodating.

1- 8 footer, 1-16 footer. Fairly low cost way to move across the country. Proper loading a must. The real benefit was the ability to have them store the pods until I was ready to receive them. The storage fee of them was reasonable. My only complaint would be that even though it was weather driven, I did not know that they were not making the initial delivery on the day we had specified, therefore I got an extra charge from the Hire-A-Helper company since I had to cancel late in the process. Better communication or a better working agreement between H-A-H and the Pods company would’ve eliminated that extra charge. The process to obtain the pods, the communication with the company and the drop off and pick up of them was excellent. I would definitely recommend them, and use them again although I hope I never have to…

They should've recommended a larger container based on our moving needs

The PODS driver was excellent. Although the designated location for the container was a tight fit, she maneuvered it into place flawlessly with patience and care.

I was amazed at the great service I received. Moving across country is inherently stressful but PODS was on time and the drivers were all friendly and respectful of property.

The drop off was frustrating because first driver refused to leave Pod because it had snowed and driveway was alittle wet; therefore I had to reschedule movers to next day. Upon Pod pick up, driver reprimanded me for not locking the Pod correctly and said it was my responsibility, even though I had no idea it was not completely closed, I found him to be rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.

Smiley's guys are PROS at packing a POD efficiently! I was amazed.

The order process was easy - used the customer service agent to line up all details and he did the math to get us the best total rate with using a AAA discount. We need to store contents until Spring and PODS ability to offer move + inside secured storage of the container is a perfect answer. We had thorough and timely communication throughout the process. Drivers were friendly and professional, and gave some tips to help us plan the loading. Container was clean and fully functional for our needs. Definitely recommend this option for a cost-effective move!!

PODS did exactly what they said they would do. My Pod was delivered, picked up, and transported to my new home right on schedule.

Pods customer service was excellent when I first contacted them to ask about their services, and make my purchase. However, a problem came up later which was their fault, not mine. I have lost count of how many phone calls I had with them, and discovered that Pods has a major internal issue: Pods people do not update, or likely even read notes put in the system by each other. This means I had to explain the whole story over and over, and panic every time I got another email or text or voicemail telling me to contact them right away. They sent me literally 10 emails a day, and I lost count of how many texts. I did not need this stress or waste of my time at all during a severely time constrained move.

Everything arrived undamaged and securely, even after being stored in a pod storage system for five months.

The drivers for PODS on both ends of the move were professional, friendly and quick. You will need to provide your own moving blankets, ratchet straps, rope. PODS can provide the names of movers in the area if you don't want to pack the container yourself.

Great customer service. Professional and clear. However, PODS delivery forgot the pads. I drove to the local PODS facility to get my pads.

POD worked but it was nearly 20 years old and in poor shape.

The POD's latch was difficult to operate and the POD itself was almost 20 years old and had a lot of rust. I had the largest POD and the rep said it should handle my household goods but it did not and I had to make other arrangements to get the rest of my goods moved.

We have a short, narrow driveway up the side of a mountain on a steep street and . somehow, our driver Joel did it! We have used UHaul containers before and Pods are more expensive but the customer service and quality of the Pods themselves make the difference in price well worth it.
