I've had to start and stop pickups from PODS multiple times due to closing dates on my house sale moving. They are fantastic with changing dates.

PODS was great with communication UNTIL I needed another container and it was never delivered. Getting them to deliver quickly after missing my delivery the day before was a very difficult situation.

The man who delivered my PODS was very helpful and cautious when placing the container in my driveway.

PODS drivers were excellent!! Really helpful on both ends!! Highly suggest using PODS plus their suggested loaders/unloaders!

We were pleased with Pods and all the drivers we worked with both in Charleston and in Buffalo. The only thing that I'd make sure people understand with a long-distance move is that they understand how the scheduling process works. I was told it would take about 7 days to get our container from one location to the next. What they didn't tell me is that that's 7 days from the first available date they have to transport them to get them to the local Pods location and then it'll take another day to get them to your house. I was told on the phone to make sure to schedule at least 7 days ahead of when I need them dropped it. It ended up working out fine because our closing got pushed back but it really was about a 12 day process from when we called to the first date they could get them to our house. Like I said, it all turned out perfectly fine but had our closing not been pushed back we'd have waiting about 5-6 extra days for our pods to get to us than what we were originally told when we signed up for the service.

At the origination point, container was delayed by almost 3 days, requiring much rearranging of plans on our part. This was a multi move and when the POD arrived at our new home, the driver pointed damage to the POD, which we documented. We will now have to file a claim for damage to a brand new mattress!

They had confirmed the standard delivery of my Pod and it wasn't until I had not heard and received an email that my delivery had been "updated" and would not be delivered. I spend hours with customer service. The change in delivery was going to cause a change in the delivery type from standard ($200) to City Service )$699), in addition to additional days of storage, and a last minute cancellation of my labor help through HireAHelper ($229). PODS customer service on said that I could file a dispute and never offered any solution.

They always answered the phone when I called and were very helpful and patient in helping me understand the logistics involved in shipping two pods and a car across the continent from Arizona to Virginia.

My Plan is to keep the POD in the POD storage facility until my destination is decided.

Excellent to this point. My pod will be in storage for a while.

My POD delivery driver (whose name I can't remember--darn it--so much going on) phoned me 30 minutes before delivery. He was very courteous and efficient at dropping the POD. PODS should value this young man as an employee!

Working well. Nearly done with it. What a convenient way to move!

My move was mismanaged from the start. They booked my move in reverse (dates and locations backwards), quoted me one delivery time then emailed me the night before delaying the arrival by 10hrs, and then changed the pick-up time leaving me with only 16 hours to pack my container...in the middle of the night.

Our pods are in storage now. We won't be moving till November.

I would not move without PODS. Their system offers the most personal control. And they store in a climate controlled warehouse. The App is so easy to use, and the staff TEXT / Call when they are on the way to drop and pick up the POD.

Special services had to be used and the driver was great.

They stuck to the schedule and presumably will pick up the receptacle on time as well. The 16’ size is definitely not big enough for a 1.5 bedroom unless you really don’t have much. I ended up renting a bumper pull to handle the rest.

Container delayed by 2 1/2 days of contracted arrival caused many problems and unnecessary adjustments during an already stressful time.
