They were wonderful to work with . . . until it came time to pick up our load in Michigan. We had already started our move to FL and apparently, the person cleaning our house for the final time, was parked in a shared driveway. I don't think the driver knocked on our door or rang the doorbell so she could move the car. The irony of this is that she HAD to be parked in an area that had nothing to do where the driver could have loaded the POD. Subsequently, the pick up was delayed a couple of days making delivery in Florida late (which we didn't learn about until after 8 p,m. the night before we were supposed to be delivered) The delivery itself, late, was also a couple hours late.

So far quick on the delivery and pick ups. AwaIting the cross country journey to know the back half results…

This was our third POD for this move. The PODs were in good shape, arrived and departed on time. It's a good start.

Pods was really good at setting up what we needed. The rating of 4 comes from the difficulty of getting to talk with them. The phone wait time was terrible. I found it much faster, although still slow, to chat over the internet. Once I got to someone they were great. Pods came right on time, delivered by a wonder man named Scott. Very personable and gave some good tips.

Very organized. They set acceptable expectations upfront and followed through. Great communication and customer service. POD was in great condition. Delivered when and where requested. We were not a typical 3 bedroom move. We had some smaller furniture pieces but mainly boxes. No bedroom furniture, no couches, no dining room set or kitchen table. We had room left over in the POD.

POD was delivered on time. The driver was very careful in placing the POD so as not to damage anything around it.

The POD was great for what we needed. Customer service that helped us book the service was great. But the call the day before delivery to tell us the time window of delivery never happened. We had been explicit about needing a hour drive time for our people to be there when it was delivered. NO call, and the day of delivery we received a call saying the driver had started early and would be there in about 20 minutes.. That was a problem for us. The POD itself was exactly what we needed along with the great packers/movers made a almost perfect move for. us. We are a church and needed to coordinate several people to monitor the move.

The company was very professional and everything went as promised in a timely fashion. Everything arrived intact. I would highly recommend them.

I've had to call 7 or 8 times to get plans in place. There have been a good number of miscommunications, and with the exception of one horrible customer service representative, everyone else has been excellent, professional, and knowledgable.

They delivered the POD for packing on time, but delivery of POD to my new location they were late.

Furniture was scheduled to be delivered 6-4-2021.Unfortunately PODS personnel typed in delivery date as 6-4-2022. Final delivery 6-10-2021. Results of this delay cost over $2000.00 in hotel stay.

These guys really knew what they were doing. My pods container looked like a jigsaw puzzle. :)

When the guy brought the part he tore down limbs from the tree. Also he left the pod too far in the street. Excellent service from the guy who picked up the pod.

So far so good! We have our POD in storage, but the company has been fantastic! On the phone, on chat, and in the street -- all of them have been wonderful!

Transport personnel who delivered our POD in PA for loading and delivered in Portsmouth NH on agreed upon date for unloading were very experienced and efficient in the process. We appreciate this service very much. It was our first time moving with a POD and we will recommend to others as a convenient moving experience. It is also more economical for the POD rental and pro movers to unload than a traditional moving company. Thank you for this service.

Everything was good until it came time to redeliver the POD. It had to be rescheduled because the driver couldn't find a place to drop it and I wasn't here yet since I moved across the country. It was delivered a week later and not scheduled to be picked up 3 weeks after that. That was very inconvenient as I live in an apartment complex and the office was asking when it was going to be removed because other tenants needed the spots. I kept trying to have it picked up earlier but they wouldn't budge.

98.5% of what we shipped north fit in the 16" POD

Everything planned went on schedule. Could not ask for better service.

I loved our experience with PODS. It was so convenient to have the POD dropped off directly at our house to pack all of our belongings in. We had about two weeks of transitional living and so they stored out POD until we needed it and dropped it at our new house!

It was the right size, even a little big. Delivery was way later than the estimated time, but it got there on the day it was promised.

The PODS specialist severely underestimated my space needs. i had to leave behind furniture including some antiques I have had for dozens of years. I also had NO room for any yard furniture, tools or outdoor garden décor. I was very stressed leaving so many treasured items behind.

First time using PODS and it was a great experience.

Overall, not a bad experience. I paid my $4k+ fee for my Pod but didn't realize there was an online agreement that I had to accept and approve even though I had already paid for two of the three payments for service. You get so many emails from Pods.com about various additional services, supplies, etc., that they provide that I didn't realize I needed to approve this agreement. Because I wasn't aware of it, my Pod will take at least an additional week to get to me. Not too happy about that. It would've been great had they told me on the phone when I booked that I needed to look out for that specific email. But, aside from that, the people on the phone were, for the most part, great and helpful. The driver who delivered the Pod initially was brusque and curt and acted like he was doing me a favor. Given that he was the first person from Pods that I met in person, it wasn't a positive reflection on the company. On the other hand, the guy who picked it up once it was loaded couldn't have been nicer. Props to him. Overall, if I didn't have to wait an entire additional week for my Pod to show up, I'd be happier overall with the process, etc.

The first PODS container arrived damaged, the movers out of Pittsburgh brought it to our attention. The nearest PODS did everything possible to exchange it out in a timely manner. We primarily only moved 80 boxes, most of them large. We moved a few accessory glass items, cabinet and tables. Everything arrived without damage. we wrapped everything ourselves.

In many ways PODS was great but due to one ongoing issue I cannot provide a review at this time. The “average” rating I gave them will change depending on the outcome. That’s fair.
