They were a day late picking up our pod which caused a full week delay in receiving our pod at our new home. All of our possessions were on there. They refunded us only 395 dollars but took it back. 395 is not nearly enough considering all the extra hotels we had to book but it is better than the nothing that they decided on. We forked out an extra 1700 dollars. We have called numerous times with no luck. We were constantly put on hold. This is the worst service we have ever gotten. I will never recommend them and will be expressing this on yelp.
Very happy with my PODS experience. Their scheduling and customer service were great. Everything happened on time as planned. I have moved multiple times over the past 14 years, but first time using PODS and it was better than all the rest. I would definitely use them again. The POD container was in good condition and the large one was the right side for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, basement townhome.
Based on a recommendation from a friend, my wife and I chose to use PODS Container for our move from Boston to Eugene, OR. We filled three POD and it worked out well for us because 1 POD contained what we would need for our apartment while the other two would go into storage in POD's Eugene storage facility to wait until we had found and purchased our new home. The whole move worked out perfectly. PODs showed on exactly when they said they would at every step of the move and we couldn't be happier. Also the cost of the move was most attractive to us given the other options we had. After this experience, I would use no one else for moving. We are completely satisfied with PODS services and performance during our move.
The container performed as promised and the delivery/pick-up people were very effective. I will NEVER use POD again because the scheduling online was a nightmare and dealing with Customer (Dis)Service was the worst experience. Was on hold waiting for CS for 30, 40 and 60 minutes. When they answered they were not customer oriented. They read the company rules with no attempt at mediation. Had to threaten to contact CEO and FTC and still no satisfaction.
