Very good; I am now a POD fan!

Great communication! From the customer service to place the original order, our rescheduling, to letting us know when the Pods would be delivered and picked up - we received specific, clear informational calls and then everything actually happened when promised! So far so great!

They had instructions to contact the rental office or myself when they arrived. They did not, and instead left the container illegally parked in a handicapped space. When contacted, they originally said they'd send someone out to move the contained, but called back to say they didn't have any drivers available.

Economical way to move, my only gripe is the PODS were unloaded on June 28th but can not be picked up until July 3rd thereby blocking our drive way for that period of time.

PODS was a great choice for our move. Clean, dependable, good communication.

Overall we were satisfied with the service from the POD company.

If this review is about the POD, then there is nothing to complain about.

Excellent-not cheap!

PODS is a tremendous value for your dollar. The initial phone in set-up of my Moving needs and scheduling was painless. The POD arrived on time, was picked up on time, and delivered on time. My only complaint was that I couldn't schedule a timely removal of my Empty Pod once I had cleared it out. It took a few extra days to find a pick-up delivery window. This delay managed to make my neighbors annoyed with us, but it's gone now, so all's fair.

Drivers were excellent and this review would have received 5 stars if only they container didn't have to sit for over a week in the driveway of the place I moved to. POD said they couldn't take care of it in a timely manner and although they said move me up on the list if they could, they never did

I used PODS for the third time over the past couple of years and continue to be absolutely pleased to have done so. The units are always clean and well maintained and the two men with whom I've worked, Michael and Jerry, here in the Asheville, NC area have been top drawer professional....and nice guys to boot! We had a very good experience with PODS. The communication was consistent for when the PODS would be picked up and delivered. All the drivers in both cities were great!

Everything went as scheduled and very informative as to times and dates.

We packed the PODS ourselves so I can't really complain about the things that did not fair well in the trip because that was on us and how we packed it. However, I did find some frustrations in the fact that when I called 2 days before my PODS were scheduled to be delivered, no one could tell me where my stuff was. Ultimately, it worked out but I was a little frustrated.

This was my first time using PODS and I did so because I had a gap in the time of my move out and move into my new place. That said, you should know the limitations to avoid any conflicts, like HOA rules, adequate space for the pod, etc. Also, plan to have the pod delivered the day before your actual move in and picked up the day after. Schedule it that way to avoid problems. Then schedule your movers for the middle day. And, if push comes to shove, you can actually call and get in contact with your driver on the day of the pod delivery to see if they can accommodate a specific request. I had Brittany in the Suwanee, GA branch. She was a Godsend! Brittany went above and beyond, out of her way to make my delivery as pain free as possible even when it seemed like everything was blowing up in my face! She definitely made my experience much more enjoyable and I sincerely appreciate excellent customer service like this when I receive it!

They delivered the pods and when they were full picked them up with a days notice to schedule.

I'm using PODS for a local move. The first container will be used to declutter the house prior to putting it up for sale. The second and third will be used to finish moving. The ability to store the first container until we are ready to move in is terrific. I would use them again.

As much as I want to say this was an enjoyable experience, it just was not. I scheduled the pod containers a month in advance before actually using them and had the dates scheduled for when they should be picked up and delivered. The pod was delivered and picked up as scheduled for the first part. When it was time for the pod to be delivered to my new home, it was not. I had it scheduled on a Friday. They called me on Thursday and told me I was confirmed for a delivery time of 115-415 pm. At 530 I called and was told the driver was late. I called again at 7 and was told again the driver was running behind. When I called back at 8 they told me I was not on the route and not going to have my belongings delivered. When I asked why, they couldn't tell me. After an hour and a half on the phone with their company, they were not able to give me a reason and in fact told me they could see me on the route (route 10) "clear as day". They put a rush on it and said I would get it the next day. I had to cancel movers and reschedule the move entirely. Additionally, after an automatic payment was withdrawn from my account, and after reviewing the invoice, PODS charged me $100 for a rush same day delivery fee. I scheduled a delivery for a Friday one month in advance. They did not deliver on the day they promised they would and then charged be $100 to deliver the following day. It is insane. Also, when they finally did deliver it and came to pick it back up, they took the blankets I rented out of the pod. I had to call immediately so they wouldn't deduct any more money out of my account for their own foul-ups. awful experience. I will not use them again and will not recommend them to anyone I know.

so far so good with the PODs ... the company has been very easy to deal with and the cost is reasonable. My move isn't finished yet, my stuff has to stay in storage for a bit. But I am very happy with PODs so far.

Easy to use and schedule. Cheaper than a rental truck and don't have to pay for the fuel or drive cross country in a big truck.

They charge you for "storing" your container when it sits in your driveway to load it and unload it. They don't tell you upfront that it takes weeks to schedule times to pick it up after it is loaded, deliver it to your new address and pick it up after you unload it. I moved to an apartment and can't have the container sitting in paid parking spaces for weeks! I wish I knew this when I first scheduled it.

Their website did not make it clear that I had to phone in to schedule pick up of the pod.

Our PODS experience was all very positive, from the service rep who scheduled our move to the excellent communication throughout the process and the efficiency of the POD delivery and pickup services. The POD was the perfect size and in good condition. Our possessions were in the POD for three weeks and arrived safely. We used the packets to help absorb moisture which we highly recommend for a move during the rainy season. We would use them again.

They called before the POD was delivered and they removed on the date that is was scheduled to leave. Worked out perfectly!

Great service and Chris dropped off and picked up my POD both times. He was very skilled as I have a narrow drive way and live on a busy street.

Delivery driver was awesome! We were packing up a business on a busy main street. He dropped the Pod exactly where it needed to be with great skill. The guy was amazing! The best part was we had the same guy pick ups the Pod. His skill at getting it loaded back on the truck was incredible. Super friendly guy, I wished I had got his name I would ask for him again.

Took a little effort to schedule the deliver of our POD from just outside S. Seattle to Portland but it arrived on time and I was notified prior to its arrival. The POD is scheduled for pick up tomorrow. Would recommend POD for long-term storage or to help move your household across the country.

Everything was as advertised, nothing was broken or scratched. Very satisfied.

We were moving from Madison, WI to MA. Every step was carried out with great professionalism. Will definitely use again.

PODS communicated very well. They kept me up to date regarding status of different parts of the move. The whole process was very convenient and affordable.

My POD was delivered on time and picked up for transport on time. I was impressed. When our POD got to our new location, everything was exactly how we packed it. Very little shifting. You do have to pack your container correctly. Watch their on how to pack the container. It worked.

Received items without any incidents. I do not know that I would use PODS again. Pick-up and drop-off went without incident. You have to know that the POD will fit in the space! Extremely important info.

Actually the local company was above average but I had trouble with company at a national level. The web site seemed to have trouble with my delivery date, it kept losing it. Their customer service was not much help. Next time I’ll probably try a different company

The only issue I had was that when I scheduled the initial drop off and pick up dates the pick up date was not recorded so when I called to verify the pick up date I was told the earliest available date was two days later than I originally asked for. This caused a problem with the closing. The customer Service person was very helpful and was able to get the pickup date for one of the containers moved up a day but the second is still scheduled for the day of the closing with no firm time given. My recommendation is to check all details very carefully and to verify anyway.

So difficult to work with Did not provide the information about my move until I started to ask questions Was told by the city that they should let me know regulations etc when booking they did not and it created so much stress and work that it made to move very unpleasant

My rating is only "good" because I am only halfway done with my move. The staff at Pods were great to deal with. They communicated the arrival time and placed the container exactly where I asked, even though I was not present. The container is a pretty decent size and fits a lot of furniture and other items. The container is still in it's original location but hopefully the next part of my move will go smoothly.
