Krystle from Family Movers called two days before the move, then one day before the move to make sure things were in place.Tom and VInny were a great team of movers. They unloaded our 16 foot truck in less than two hours. It would have taken us all day! The temperature was 90 plus on the day of our move and they were hustling around without complaint. They were patient, helpful, and kind as they moved all of our items into the house, garage, around the back, and to the side. They were wonderful and did a fantastic job.

The 16 ft. truck was a good size for the move of my mother's two bedroom apartment, and the truck was in good condition. However, the customer service ( Manager, Daniel # 190631, Budget Truck Rental,1067 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA, 19063) was the WORST I have ever encountered. We had ordered 3 doz. moving blankets, which were required for insurance purposes. They did not have the blankets, did not attempt to acquire them, and did not care about our predicament. We would advise that you take your business elsewhere.

Budget got me over the I-70 mountain passes!

Truck needed wheel alignment, water dripped on my legs when it rained, swayed constantly and no power. Trailer tires were sticking out.

Be prepared that time available truck is is only an estimate. Forgot to put E-Z Pass in for tolls.

We opted to rent a 12 ft truck from Budget than UHaul since the pricing we received online was less $200 less. We felt that both companies were reputable so it just came down to price. Initially we considered container or moving company but there was no guarantee of time arrival and we had to be in New Orleans by a certain date. The truck was okay to drive, pretty noisy and large in size so sometimes hard to maneuver easily. It was suitable for our needs and got the job done. Dropping off the truck in New Orleans was a bit confusing but we figured it out. Having help to unload the truck made the transition much easier.

Truck dirty and broke down on the road. Needed to transition to another truck company. Service very poor trying to get refund.

They didn't tell me until after the fact that I would not be able to add another driver if they weren't there with me when I was picking up the truck (even when I called in advance to double check this, they said it would not be a problem). The truck is in awful shape, not only is it beyond old with a lot of damage, but the AC smells when it's turned on and the truck makes an awful rattle every time you go over (even a small) bump.

I wish I could give them zero stars! Worst moving experience ever. I would not recommend this company to anybody. DO NOT USE BUDGET. While the 16’ truck (the second one we got after the first one broke down just after we picked it up from the dealer) did manage to fit almost all of our large 2 bedroom apartment (1000sqft) and a small storage unit worth of belongings, the service and equipment provided was of the poorest quality! The towing dolly we hired to tow our 2016 Toyota Corolla (stock standard, super common car) did not for the car and it actually damaged our car. Customer service could not help us. They kept making promises that they did not keep, some of the employees at some of the locations we had to go to (we were bounced around between 5 locations!) were rude and unhelpful and couldn’t even answer simple questions about tolls or the equipment! Only to be reimbursed not even $50 at the end of it. Absolutely disgusted.

Truck was ready for us and people were friendly!

The truck was fine but had problems with the car carrier. one of the chains did not have a hook and the straps kept slipping even though i had them pretty tight on the tires.

Truck was dirty inside and outside the cab, van was broom clean but blankets were ripped and torn, front end out of alignment pulled continuously to the right and the front wheels need balancing. Very noisy in cab.

When you make a "reservation" with Budget, you actually aren't reserving a truck; you're reserving a "rate". They can (and will) tell you the day before your move that a truck that you reserved a month ago won't be available. In the immortal words of Jerry Seinfeld: “See, you know how to TAKE the reservation, you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them.” If you like last minute changes of plans on a super-stressful day of moving, by all means, go with Budget.

Did the job! There were ants in the truck that we had to clear out but otherwise I got to my destination in one piece with furniture also intact.

Truck was in good condition - great customer service.

26 foot truck was everything I needed to move my 2 story house in one trip. Pick-up was much quicker than U-Haul has ever been. After hours drop off allowed me to drop the truck on Sunday morning and not have to be charged an additional day.

Failed to provide blankets ordered, truck cab leaked water during rain storm and air all other times. Noise was horrible.

This Budget Truck Rental is very convenient and cost efficient.

The location inside the hotel is not well signed. You have to ask the front desk where the Budget office is and parking is hard to get to without using the valet service. Otherwise the experience was fine.

The truck was OLD and beat up. Quiet ride was NOT what we got. It was as loud as leaving both windows open.

The only thing that was a bit annoying was the fact that the truck smelled of cigarettes! A previous renter must've been a smoker.

Always the best prices for truck rental. The truck had less than 20k miles, ran well, and was functionally comfortable. I rented a 16ft truck and fit about 3 rooms plus a 10’x10’ storage unit in it- it was as full as it could be, but it all fit.

Only gave them a 4 star rating because they told me we had plenty of DEF and we ran out.

The truck was fine, but the reservation process was a total disaster. At the last minute, we found out that we'd have to drive to a different location (40 minutes farther away) to pick up the truck, because Budget did not bother to have it at the "confirmed" reservation location (4 miles from us). The reservation was made six days in advance.

What's to say...truck was available when scheduled...ran well...didn't blow up...what else can I say...

Budget called a couple days before we moved (I had already made a reservation) and said that they didn't have the tow dolly available. Isn't that the point of reserving it?...so that it will be available on that day? I asked them how they normally handle that and they said they don't do anything. Luckily when I made it clear I was not happy they went and found another dolly. That dolly was broken, however, so we ended up having to call the roadside assistance to come help us out before we even left on the trip.

Everything was smooth sailing and I also got an discount for using them ad "Hire A Helper" service. My drop off was also so stress free and Customer Service was the greatest. They were very professional and answered any questions I had. Will always recommend them to anyone. Thank you Budget Rent A Truck, you were hassle free!

The truck (26'er) was in good shape, it drove smoothly & it ran well. The only downside was the cost of diesel fuel (approx $300) but it was still significantly cheaper than hiring a professional mover.

waiting too long to get the truck!

Truck order switched, then truck provided broke down, and lots of time wasted trying to figure that out. Customer service was friendly and ultimately got me to my destination.

I rented a 26' truck from Budget with a car transport. The truck was functional. It was not in the best shape and had a hard time getting up to speed. Often I was barely doing the minimum interstate speed by the time I got to the end of the ramp. It's been a long time since I've used a moving truck, but I would have thought that they would move a little faster.

Great truck and we had no issues

Did not clean the vehicle or fill it with fuel as required before use.

Truck was ok could have been cleaner. Also gas tank was very hard to get to accept gas. Price was better than most.

Great truck it worked well with the move. The only thing was it was full of trash when I received it.
