Trucks were in good condition considering the amount of miles they have been in service

Budget was prepared and professional.

Failed to provide blankets ordered, truck cab leaked water during rain storm and air all other times. Noise was horrible.

Truck was great. Drove easily.

This Budget Truck Rental is very convenient and cost efficient.

The location inside the hotel is not well signed. You have to ask the front desk where the Budget office is and parking is hard to get to without using the valet service. Otherwise the experience was fine.

The truck was OLD and beat up. Quiet ride was NOT what we got. It was as loud as leaving both windows open.

The only thing that was a bit annoying was the fact that the truck smelled of cigarettes! A previous renter must've been a smoker.

Always the best prices for truck rental. The truck had less than 20k miles, ran well, and was functionally comfortable. I rented a 16ft truck and fit about 3 rooms plus a 10’x10’ storage unit in it- it was as full as it could be, but it all fit.

Only gave them a 4 star rating because they told me we had plenty of DEF and we ran out.

The truck was fine, but the reservation process was a total disaster. At the last minute, we found out that we'd have to drive to a different location (40 minutes farther away) to pick up the truck, because Budget did not bother to have it at the "confirmed" reservation location (4 miles from us). The reservation was made six days in advance.

What's to say...truck was available when scheduled...ran well...didn't blow up...what else can I say...

Budget called a couple days before we moved (I had already made a reservation) and said that they didn't have the tow dolly available. Isn't that the point of reserving it?...so that it will be available on that day? I asked them how they normally handle that and they said they don't do anything. Luckily when I made it clear I was not happy they went and found another dolly. That dolly was broken, however, so we ended up having to call the roadside assistance to come help us out before we even left on the trip.

Everything was smooth sailing and I also got an discount for using them ad "Hire A Helper" service. My drop off was also so stress free and Customer Service was the greatest. They were very professional and answered any questions I had. Will always recommend them to anyone. Thank you Budget Rent A Truck, you were hassle free!

The truck (26'er) was in good shape, it drove smoothly & it ran well. The only downside was the cost of diesel fuel (approx $300) but it was still significantly cheaper than hiring a professional mover.

waiting too long to get the truck!

Truck order switched, then truck provided broke down, and lots of time wasted trying to figure that out. Customer service was friendly and ultimately got me to my destination.

I rented a 26' truck from Budget with a car transport. The truck was functional. It was not in the best shape and had a hard time getting up to speed. Often I was barely doing the minimum interstate speed by the time I got to the end of the ramp. It's been a long time since I've used a moving truck, but I would have thought that they would move a little faster.

Great truck and we had no issues

Did not clean the vehicle or fill it with fuel as required before use.

Truck was ok could have been cleaner. Also gas tank was very hard to get to accept gas. Price was better than most.

Great truck it worked well with the move. The only thing was it was full of trash when I received it.

Never have had a problem with Budget.

They gave us wrong truck size which made it harder to go thru bridges into Cambridge, MA. Also the truck had a leak in the back and roaches inside the cabin which go into my boxes

I ordered a 26-foot truck; they confirmed the order of a 26-foot truck; but when I went to the pick-up, the largest truck available was a 16-foot truck. It caused multiple trips and significantly effected the time and costs of the move. I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to my business and personal associates.

I was given a truck in Houston, TX that the engine light and also the diesel exhaust fuel light came on. Called them at 9:30 and a mechanic was dispatched at 12:50. Took 3 hours for the repair and once we got out of town an hour later the lights came back on. Drove the truck to Jackson, MS and lights were still on when I turned in the truck. Wrote Budget an email and also called this morning ( after Labor Day holiday ) and all they reimbursed me for my time and inconvenience was $50. Definitely will never rent from them again since they aren’t dedicated to providing secured and safe vehicles.

$180ish including basic insurance. Had to travel far to pick up the truck. There were no UHaul trucks available within a 20 mile radius of where we were living and the only available UHaul truck was charging over $400 for the same truck.

My Truck was not ready at the specified location at the reserved time. It would not be available for another 2+ hours and I would have to travel further to pick it up. I will not be renting with Budget again.

Both the Budget teams both here in Chicago and in Florida were very helpful. Getting the truck went smoothly and timely and returning the truck was quick and easy.

The truck smelled and did not seem to have cell phone ports to plug into -at least that I didn't find. Truck drove fine.

After having a reservation for over a month, they called me the night before pickup and told me there was no truck. Their customer service center said they would expedite finding me a truck, but I never heard back from anyone. We ended up finding a truck through Penske last minute, but no thanks to Budget or their customer service team.

The location where I was told to pick up my truck, had to find an alternate location. I had to go to a second facility which was very time consuming. Should have a truck at the designated location when promised.240

Budget did not have the smaller truck I had reserved. Did not have all of the moving blankets available, and took a good 30-40 minutes to figure out a billing error on my invoice. Overall a NO GO.

It was late August and I was moving from Maryland to SW Florida. The temperatures were in the mid 90's and the Budget Truck's air conditioning didn't work.....not even the fan. I complained to their customer service once my move was complete and, in essence, said I should have done their job and had the air repaired while on the road. The air conditioning should have been working when the truck was picked up and not making it the responsibility of the person renting the truck to have it repaired on the road. STAY AWAY FROM BUDGET TRUCK RENTALS.

We booked with Budget only to find out the night before our move date that our reservation was somehow canceled. Scrambling as our move was during a busy weekend, we called customer service and they couldn't explain why the reservation was cancelled and referred us back to the local truck company we had a reservation with to see if they cancelled. They couldn't tell us why either. We called customer service again and they booked us a new truck with a company about 2 hours away from us. We immediately called the new location only to find out that they didn't have any trucks to be rented and couldn't understand why customer service rented us one from their place. Very very frustrated at this point, we proceeded with another rental company (Uhaul) and confirmed a truck that was actually there and booked successfully. We will NEVER EVER use Budget again. Their system doesn't seem to sync with the actual truck vendors and they don't take accountability. Thank god we didn't get charged as that was the only silver lining. We got lucky that Uhaul had a truck for us otherwise it would have ruined our entire moving schedule.

Truck was fine, the return was easy and friendly staff.

The regional mgr emailed me late at night the night before with some paperwork he asked me to print out for the move. It was just weird, The lady at the budget/Avis location was great though.

The truck was clean when we picked it up and easy to drive. The pick-up point was a little disorganized although the people very friendly. Drop-off was easy and professional. Rented a smaller truck because we are only moving boxes now. We will use them again when it is time to move the furniture.

I like this company very much. Used them twice. It worked fine for the size and distance of my move. The truck was a new one. Their Customer Service was nice and complete. I like the fact that their price is reasonable. And I will use them again if I need to move.

Truck was fine, it was a bit squeaky in the cab and the headlights were out of alignment.
