I've moved pretty often in the past and I've always used Uhaul because it is super fast and easy. However, when I came in for check in Kennesaw, GA I was incorrectly charged a $60 deposit fee when I was specifically told I would not be charged this fee. I didn't know it, until I dropped the truck off for return at dealer location. The gentleman at the dealer location was so friendly and honest and made sure that I got my money back. Overall, I would say Uhaul is great to use but please be more careful about charging unnecessary fees. Thanks!

Difficult time getting the lock to unlock when I arrived the morning of my rental. No directions for working the lock were given.

Difficult time getting key to truck when I arrived at 8am. Unlocking the lock was a challenge bc it wasn't explained how the lock worked.

The U-Haul team was incredible. Every single person I interacted with was helpful, and this was after Budget dropped the ball on my truck rental and U-haul came through in a pinch and found me a 26-foot truck. Specifically, the Bel-Red store in Bellevue, WA, John Stevens at the MLK store in Seattle, Justin, the mechanic that covers Centralia to Portland who answered a random question for me at a gas station in Longview, and a woman on the phone who helped confirm the last minute booking. The entire team was absolutely phenomenal. I can't say enough great things. I will always use U-haul moving forward. Thank you team for flanking me and being by my side throughout the transition.

Truck was clean, well maintained, undamaged. Checkin and checkout was smooth. Went exactly the way you would want it to.

224/7 option to pick up was terrible for us. Took a hour to get truck and if it weren't for an employee that was in before the store opened, we would have been getting the truck 2 hours later.

lucked out- got a new truck!

Brand new truck was ready when and where I requested. It was clean and undamaged. The moving pads were equally clean. Check out and check in were smooth. The truck was bigger than I needed, but that was my choice. I wanted to give the helpers a break with packing and stacking my furniture and I didn't want to make 2 trips.

Great people to work with

Had some issues with the equipment. AC on the truck did not work. Key on the passenger door was extremely difficult to unlock. Straps on the auto transport came off the wheels 3 times, even though it was initially inspected by a Uhaul manager.

U-Haul was able to help me when Budget did not have my truck after making a reservation.

UHaul is a reliable company that we have used several times in the past with consistent service.

Uhaul is affordable and had available trucks. We started with Penske but there was a limit in trucks the weekend we moved. We had to travel farther to pick up the truck which would have taken more time in an already hectic moving day. We changed to Uhaul for those reasons and we ended up paying less for the truck rental.

Everyone in the U-Hall family was kind and helpful, even when I needed to change a few things around, such as getting the trailer and changing the size of the second truck.

I found out the difference between a 15' and a 17' U-Haul truck is a "mom's attic". I normally get trucks through Penske and you can use all 17' feet, floor to ceiling. I felt jipped with the "mom's attic" portion of the truck, but I guess that's on me for not paying closer attention!

The U-Haul truck service I used in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho are incredibly professional and helped me in every way they could. They are located on Appleway and do everything they can to help you!

First truck was in bad shape, so employees were willing to chage it for another. Area I was moving to was in high demand (one way move), so they gave a discount without me asking.

we originally booked with budget, they called the Sun afternoon before our Mon morning pick up and said they didn't have a truck. Uhaul was able to book a truck within our neighborhood for the next morning, ALWAYS GO WITH UHAUL!

Old truck, very loud, uncomfortable, no modern safety features.

The overall experience was bad, very bad. We reserved a 26' truck months ago and found out only days ahead of time that we had been assigned a 15' truck. I'm giving three stars instead of one because I was able to get someone at customer service to convert the rental to 1-way and get me a 26' truck.

great new truck...easy to drive.

The truck was clean and ready to go. I was disappointed however by the fact that they did not have the truck at our chosen pick up location and we had to get it from a terrible section of downtown!

The pick up location was AMAZING! Uhaul corporate was an issue. However, one issue came from a prior rental location not checking items in after the equipment was returned. The second issue was a Uhaul system error that tired to use the wrong billing address. I did my reservation/check in online, and the correct billing info was on the reservation/check in. I don't know what happened in Uhaul's system, but the owner/operator of the pick up location, got it all fixed! Yay.

Supplied me with a truck with clear deficiencies that a simple checklist could have caught and corrected. Transmission had a faulty gear at highway speeds and windshield wiper on the driver side was completely broken. Customer care was nonexistent and gave zero resolution to my complaint.

Good customer service and good price.

They need air ride trucks and the truck we used needed to be diesel. A 26'truck needs to be air ride, not spring suspension. Also the seats are very uncomfortable. Was eating pain pills for 1886 miles.

My reservation location and truck size were changed on their end but it worked out and probably better than it should have.

UHAUL called me 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick up my UHAUL in Biloxi to let me know he did not have a truck for me. I had already previously recompleted my order because they had moved my pick up destination from Ocean Springs to Biloxi. UHAUL then forced me to take a larger truck from a destination that was 30 extra minutes away. Absolutely

The transportation company was good.

Decent 15’ truck, no problems pulling the auto transport. No cruise control. Turns out the shelf over the cab allowed water to leak in.

This company was good until I had to extend my rental and then they demanded that I return the trucks per the contract even though the trucks were still full since we didn't close on our house as expected.

Rented 2 26 foot trucks from Ashley at AP Self Storage and Uhauls. Ashley went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of for us and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our trucks were on the lot, clean, and ready to pull out when we showed up Saturday morning to pick them up!! I appreciate her very much and would recommend dealing with Ashley at AP Self Storage and Uhauls. She is always willing to go above and beyond to take care of her customers. clean and reliable for 300 mile move

Great pickup and dropoff customer service reps. Very nice Super Mover 26' truck that truly "Drove like a van. Hauled like a truck." I purchased the Premium Insurance for total peace of mind. We also needed to keep the truck for five extra days because of move-in timing complexity.

Truck was in good condition. Pick-up was quick and easy. Had trouble getting a hold of someone to give my preference of drop-off location. Overall good experience.

Truck was ready, clean, and worked well

I was confirmed for a 7:30 am pick up. When I arrived for the pick up, there was no one at the office. I tried in vain to reach anyone. The office did not open until 8:30 am. The man who showed up was cranky and belligerent. Yelling at us that he did not have a reservation in my name. He finally found it, but never apologized for his horrible behavior. I will never go back there again
