Pack-Rats has been very good at communicating the status of delivery and pickup of containers and were on time as promised.

Packrat created a serious problem when they delivered the pod 300 yards from my house. No soulution was offered on their end. Their desicion cost the movers twice the effort and time and me twice the money.

The service was OK but they need to do some work on their deliveries.

Great customer service & great communication. We had to load from 2 different locations before it started its journey. Every pick-up & delivery in Vegas was on time. Never an issue. The container is now in route so hopefully the back end will have the same level of service.

really great service. only complaint is they don't give you windows for when the pods will be dropped off and picked up which can make you waiting the entire day (as i did). and you have to extra extra certain there's enough space for both the pod and the truck that unloads it, which can be stressful in many apartment areas (house areas are likely easier). but otherwise super easy to use, friendly service, would use again.

One minor glitch - our containers had to be picked up for storage a day later than previously agreed to. Not a big deal, just pushed back 1 day. We did run out of space in our (2) 16' containers despite being told that these two containers would hold a 4-5 bedroom house (we have a 4 bedroom home). This caused us to have to rent a 10' x 10' self storage unit in town incurring an additional $200+ in costs. Emily in customer service was very helpful and friendly and handled everything very well.

The drop off and pick up at our current home went as planned with no surprises. We will receive delivery of our containers in one day, and I am hopeful that this process will go as smoothly as the beginning.

This option wasn’t the best for the distance of my move. The delay of 10 days between the pick up of my loaded pod and the delivery of it was 10 days. The container was in good condition. The delivery of my loaded pod was six hours late, but was unloaded quickly when it got there. This company was recommended to me by a friend who used it for a 50-60 mile move. I would not use the company again for a long distance move.

Everyone I communicated with was professional and responsive. My containers were delivered and picked up when expected. My complaint with the company was the Customer Service Department. I went on their recommendation of how many containers to rent. I went through the entire house with them on the phone. That number was severely underestimated. To move a 2800 sq ft house, I needed 3x16 foot containers. I was told a 16 and a 12 should be enough. I ended up running to UHaul to get a truck on moving day to pack up the rest of my house and then To rent a storage unit. Now when I move, I will have to pay for someone to unload my storage unit and deliver my stuff. If pack rat would have done a better job estimating what I needed, then containers could have been delivered to me.

Everything happened on schedule and the work teams/drivers were excellent. We especially appreciated the efforts of the driver who brought the loaded pod to our Berkeley home. Sean was remarkably conscientious. He managed unloading the pod on a narrow, sloping, one-way street with trees and telephone poles, but he did it. My only complaint was how difficult it was to reach Pack-Rat by phone and sometimes by chat. When we eventually got in contact the people were great, but Pack-Rat needs to facilitate contact between them and their contractees.

Everything arrived in great condition and at a much better price than leading compettitors.

i've only done the first half of my move so we'll see how everything comes out the other side when it's delivered. but so far, their service, communication, and pricing has been really great.

The local manager of Pack Rat was great and very accommodating in scheduling the delivery of our containers which arrived on time as promised. My only complaint is communicating with Pack Rat via its website and telephone tree. Never was successful. Had to stop local site where Nick immediately resolved our issue. The estimated cost stated below includes the move into the containers and storage of them for 18 months and delivery to the new location

I wish Pack Rat would have provided me with more info on what the movers need to assist them in moving my household effects.

The container arrived to be unpacked with several gouges in the upper portion. Fortunately only one box was damaged but the contents were not.

It looks like they dropped all 3 of my containers. I had a bit of damage to my stuff that can't be replaced.

The felivery was good and on time but the hold time to reach the office was terrible- over 45 minutes and I had to call twice which would not have been an issue if I did not have to wait so long to speak with someone

Customer Service was excellent especially Macie. I give them average because my container was scheduled for Thursday and never showed up and received no call advising it wasn’t going to be delivered until 7:00 pm after I had called twice earlier that day. Customer service on Friday morning made sure the container was delivered by 08:00am

We started loading 3 containers in June of '22 and will finish unloading in mid-April '23 at our new location. During this long move, Pack-Rat. Nothing has shifted or broken. has always been accommodating with our storage and schedule changes, on time and on budget. And they're pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend.

All three pods arrived on time. Easily dropped them off in proper spots. Easily picked them up a few days later on time again.

Drop-off was right on time. Pick-up was a bit late (sent a text indicating pick-up, but I had to call when pick-up didn't occur as expected, and driver indicated it'd be another hour).

Everything went smoothly with using 1-800-Pack-rat. Container was delivered and picked up on time from all locations and the customer service line was easy to use to make changes and updates. The large container fit most of our items from our 2bed house and everything came out of the container intact.

Website was clear and easy to use. Phones were answered promptly by courteous personnel who were friendly and very helpful. Even the hold music was tasteful. And the prices were significantly better than Pods.

They delivered the container and the driver was very cordial and unloaded exactly where we wanted the container. Very good experience with this company.

The driver who picked up the containers in Arizona was very nice and knowledgeable about what he was doing. Same with the driver who dropped off our containers in Minnesota.

This review is for the pickup only. The driver had to stay with the POD and keep it loaded on the truck, due to regulations in my town. This cost an extra $500. The driver was excellent and arrived early. My husband enjoyed talking to him!

My container arrived in perfect condition and within the timeframe they stated it would. No issues so far (one more container to unload).
