The container was a mess. I taped the joints where the siding joined the frame to keep tiny livestock out. I was only partly successful. I sealed the door with duct tape also,because the seals were not working and I had water intrusion before I had the container loaded. Not a great experience with Pack-Rat

I highly recommend 1-800-Packrat.com. I was able to fit my entire 2 bedroom Townhome into the 16ft Container ( I hired movers from Hire-A-Helper to Pack everything in). Then Packrat.com moved my Container to AZ and stored it in a climate controlled warehouse for 6months until I could move and find a new home.... Now I am here; surrounded by all my lovely things. 1-800-Packrat.com made it so easy, and affordable. Thankyou.

only issue is they were hard to get in touch with to get status during the transport . everything else went as planned and very smoothlly.

I would have given pack-rat a 5 but they couldn't pick up the container on the scheduled day so the container was in my driveway an extra day. Otherwise it was great.

I didn't't have time to call, for another container so I had to clean and disinfected. Complete disgusting. I call the company to complain and the said just sorry! I was expecting a second container and they promise that this container will be clean. Wrong! the second container was a dirty, as the first one. Very disappointed with this company.

If I could give 1-800-PackRat less then one star I would. I am currently in the process of moving my 80-year-old mother from her apartment in MI to my home in AZ. I'm handling all the moving details because it is more than my mother can handle. To start, PackRat didn't deliver the container on the day it was scheduled to be delivered and then didn't pick up the fully loaded container on the day it was scheduled to be picked up. To be clear, they never called to let us know that there were any scheduling issues for delivery or pickup. I had to call them to find out what was going on. Each time I called them regarding their missed delivery and pickup times, they claimed their truck broke down or that they could not get in touch with their facility in MI that was responsible for container transportation. After arguing and explaining that the unit was sitting in the parking lot of an apartment community and we were no longer on the premises to monitor the unit they rescheduled the unit for pickup 5 days later without consulting us. After more arguments regarding their poor communication and service, they picked up our unit and belongings one day after the originally scheduled pick-up date, then charged me extra for all THEIR screw-ups and change. They labeled the additional charges as "same-day" and "guaranteed scheduled pickup and deliveries." They also charged me $15.01 for a lock that was supposed to be included with the rental, and one I didn't need because we had our own. Originally, my cost was supposed to be $3,100.00, but after adding miscellaneous fees, fuel subsidies, and repositioning fees (whatever that is), they charged my card over $3,914.00, immediately after picking up the unit! I tried to dispute the charges with one of the many agents in their call center, however, they have possession of all of my mother's stuff and they know there is nothing I can do but pay the extra charges. They refused to refund any of the extra charges. Never use 1-800-PackRat!!!!!

So far I have had one container dropped of and no issues at all. I have not had anything picked up yet

Excellent. It was a close fit for everything to be included into the 16 foot container, but so far, so good.

Had problems with first pick up but other things went ok.

Delivered and picked up exactly as scheduled - we are expecting the drop off to our new location in about two weeks!

Great communication on the front end when loading and storing. The back end has been a little shaky. If you can talk to the dispatcher then things can get resolved quickly. Getting through to the local dispatchers can be difficult. The storage ability was very helpful as we had things ready they could be packed and stored. Likewise when we were ready to move-in and unload we could stage the work as needed. The transport cost was separate from the storage cost. Each container was $354 per month for storage. Our 5 bedroom home with 3 car garage took 3 16x8x8 containers and storage has been up to 4 months.

THE GENTLEMEN THAT MOVED US TODAY WERE PROMPT, CURTIOUS, AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

The cross-country move was late and the container delivery driver at the final destination was extremely rude and lacked communication skills

So far this service has been spot on to what we contracted with them. The driver was professional and courteous. We still need to have the container shipped to a new state

Easy to sign up. They gave me the lowest price, but: a change in zip code 8 miles farther added $350 to the cost. Gas added $680 to the cost. On line account makes it easy to look up, but records are not kept. once you pay, history is gone. Rental agreement did not include cost, only a verbal over the phone. Difficult to contact on phone. Dealings were honest. Explained all charges, even though changes were high.
