Price was a little more than quoted but with the inflation took it all in stride. The company communicated all deliveries and pickups. I really liked the fact that I had 30 days to load and transport and unload.

Overall okay, a Couple of communication problems with pick ups

The drivers were skilled and did a great job moving and placing the container.

Great value. Had our stuff in storage for 6 months, and when we got it back there was no signs of water seepage or damage.

I personally feel that moving POD several times during a move and upset the contents in side. This happened during this move.

I had to make multiple changes to my move date, yet they handled that with ease. Also, the POD arrived right on time and pick up was right on time. The drivers were very nice and made sure Pod was located in a good spot.

Pack Rat was easy to work with and timely. We don't have our pod delivered yet, hope it goes smooth on the other end!

I'll never use this company again. At first they price matched the competition, but that only worked because they didn't give me enough containers. I ended up having to order extra containers on moving day and even then it wasn't enough to fit all of our stuff, we ended up having to leave a bunch of stuff behind. We paid extra for a certain delivery day, but they kept moving the date out and it was a logistic nightmare having to coordinate with the unloaders.

Worked great for getting all the things out of the house for showing/sale. Everything happened when requested and they were helpful with placement suggestions when the container was onsite with us.

Communication with the company was not as good as with my previous move. Several times PackRat confirmed that I was on the schedule for one day, but the driver was told the next day. He arranged to come very early so it worked out, but it did cause some considerable angst for me

Simple to use, company was extremely helpful with planning and scheduling. Container kept everything dry and safe.

The pods were delivered on time. However, an additional pods was needed. When I called, was told it would be a week for another to be delivered. The driver I talked with was able to deliver one the next day.

Initially 1800PackRat was very easy to get set up and deliver the empty container to my house. Once I loaded my container and it was picked up was when the problems arose. I paid $700 extra for expedited shipping for my container to arrive Dec. 8th. I received an email stating that the container would not be arriving on Dec. 8th but that it would arrive on Dec. 13th. I called the only number listed and waited forever to speak to an agent. The agent only said that they emailed dispatch and hadn't heard back from them about my container arriving. He did not know where it was or when it would arrive. He then said it would most likely be delivered tomorrow. Tomorrow came but the container did NOT. Once again, nobody emailed or called me to give me any information. I called everyday around noon and was given the same information, "it will arrive tomorrow." I finally spoke with a customer service rep that promised she would email and call me that evening after she figured out what was going on. She did call me back and was extremely helpful. She assured me it would be delivered that Thursday. It was delivered on Thursday and everything was in good shape. The delivery driver was very polite and helpful. I understand that a long distance drive can have unforeseen issues pop up but most of my angst could have been relieved if 1800PackRat would have provided more information and had better customer service from the beginning of the issues. They did refund my $700 and I am happy about that. Overall, I DO NOT recommend 1-800-Pack-Rat to anyone. Use another company.

Pretty good size of container, don't be deceived by the size, it can store A LOT of stuff, we were worried our belongings wouldn't fit and in the end we had plenty of empty space, it is very convenient this container system, I recommend it
