this was a first time move for us and we were unsure of what to expect. I'm glad that we chose Pack Rat for storing our belongings because our new house was not move-in ready. We relocated to another state and everything had to be stored for 8 weeks before we could move in. Pack Rat staff were very helpful every time I had questions or needed assistance. I highly recommend them.

Pack Rats are a Good operation but they recommended the above clowns.

Easy, less expensive and it was a brand-new container.

The box came with lock cut off. So far haven’t found anything missing. Hidden costs that weren’t mentioned while discussing costs. Fuel charge and the monthly rental during transport

Pickup and drop off was as scheduled in both locations.

HOA got upset that one pod was parked in the street and not on the driveway with the other pod.

Delivery was well done and my trailer was placed exactly as I wanted it. Delivery guy was very helpful and demonstrated the workings of the hardware. I feel confident that they will pick up and deliver my packed container with care.

PackRat lived up to their reputation and did everything they said they would do. Though it was more work for us, it was half the price of moving companies. We were happy to save so much money!

The set up process was easy and the guy Zach on the phone was very helpful booking the container and even helped me find movers for both locations on the call. Cons: I paid for a lock and they didn't provide one at container drop off, driver said they would bring me one and they never did. I was quoted $3481.32 for the container, paid a $500 deposit, and they charged me $3809.44 on the day of pick up. Still trying to get a refund for the lock and figure out why the charge was more than the quote. I would use them again granted they refund the services (lock) not provided and honor the quote given.

Great container. No issues with our stuff.

We have used PackRat 2 times and have been very happy, for the most part. The only issue we had is that they rescheduled our pick up and didn't bother to call us. We ended up having to delay leaving the state for a day until they straightened it out.

Moved into a Pack Rat that was not transported anywhere.

Pod delivered on time. Pod was clean.

So far, communication is great and delivery/pick up of the containers was professional and on time.

You put's yer money down and you tales you chances with Pack Rat. For some inexplicable reason, they are using a ZIP CODE directory that is horribly out-of-date, less than useless, which leads to numerous problems. I had the same problems when I fled Chicago in 2020, but I figured, "The devil you know...." Big mistake.

Pack Rat offered flexibility that I needed because of our complicated move. When a problem came up they really tried and finally did resolve the issue. The people were terrific.

This was a great experience. From quote, to booking, to loading, and delivery, this is a op notch company that values and expresses customer service. Shout out to my drivers, John in Oklahoma and the rock star from Charlotee, NC, Tony. All caring people and interested in doing the best job possible. Todd in Greenville was fairly negative, but ended up being an outlier. Everyone else was fantastic. Thanks everyone for making the move bearable.

Pack Rat did a great job with delivery and pickup. I just wish they would have done a better job when I booked of explaining the issues with a city move. Other than that, they were great. The containers arrived on time, the drivers were friendly and helpful, and the containers were clean.

Everything went exactly as explained, no delays, timing was perfect, and somehow everything in the pod was exactly the way I loaded it, nothing moved! I would highly recommend this company many times over.

on time always professional courtesy call to let you know they are coming. the only issue with them is the wait time for customer service on the phone. Takes forever to get through -A MINIMUM OF 20 minutes every time.

TX location did a much better job then Indy. They called a day in advance and gave me an hour notice before drop off and pick up.

Very clean units and professional drivers

Booking 1-800-Pack-Rat was clean and easy. The customer service agent took the time to fully understand our needs and customized delivery and pick-up dates to fit into our holiday weekend schedule. Container delivery times were communicated and on time. The delivery men were friendly, clean, personable, and professional.

Great company to work with. Answered every question and request with courtesy and made needed changes happen. The drivers on both ends were wonderful. I highly recommend working with Pack Rat.

All is going well so far

We had 2 delays of which we were not notified once. I had to call them 4 times with long hold times. Finally received our POD 20 days later instead of 10-14 days. Make sure you put an AirTag in one of your storage bins on the truck. That’s how we knew they were running late. We were told they had no drivers. Anyway, we were compensated for the delays.

The unit was delivered on time but was a week late after scheduled date being picked up for transportation. They did provide a refund which is why I am giving them a good rating.

They moved my container drop off the day of and it was delayed two days which forced me to move my movers back a day. The container that I was told would fit everything was not big enough.

no issues - easy drop off and pick up. make sure you have adequate clearance - they are sticklers about that.

My items did not shift but my loaders, from another company, did not consider balancing the boxes. Quite a few of my containers were damaged.

When i called they said they deliver to my new house and after the pod was loaded i found out they dont

Our pod did not arrive when promised and we had to rearrange our entire schedule and coordinated moving help permits, etc - it cost us a lot of extra money not to mention the aggravation and stress. Pack Rat did not communicate well with us and we didn't find out about the delays until the day of the move, and then we got different stories from different people . when it was escalated we finally got the pod delivered.

Everything went to plan. All deliveries happened within the promised windows, and all four drivers we interacted with were professional and helpful. Annoyingly, the "transportation subsidy" did increase the cost by $250 over the quoted price, but it was still a competitive price. We're happy with the experience and would use Pack Rat again.

This company is terrible. They "overlooked" my shipment so my delivery was 22 days late. They also were supposed to pick up the empty container the same day and my update from them indicates it will be at least 5 days later which is a problem for the apartment complex because they are parked in the fire zone. I never got the same story twice from this company on what happened to the container delivery or pickup. You have to run the gauntlet to reach a person and often you will be on hold for 8 - 20 minutes. Stay away.
