Pick ups and drops were done in a timely manner, very experienced drivers and excellent communication within their company.

Everything went great until the last container pick up which they did not show up for. Got a call late afternoon saying they would not make it and offered $50 off our moving cost to compensate.

Kept me informed and was very helpful.

I wish the box units were in better shape, but they did the job. I used packrat because my daughter used pods and got screwed around big time with late ship,ments and empty promises. You need to understand, once they have your belongings you are entirely powerless and at their mercy. SO I chose Packrats and while there was some serious misunderstanding of shipping logisitics, I was able to get a supervisor on the phone and she reviewed the recorded phone call of the initial set-up call and heard that I indeed was correct and she made good, so I give them props for that. They did deliver on time, and drivers were helpful and courteous. I would use them again.

We did not understand that there was a rental fee in addition to a transport fee. Not at all happy with the sales person. Felt we were deceived when asked about the final cost.

The pod showed on time, and it was clean and dropped quickly.

I would definitely not recommend them for a long-distance move. The containers were one day late on both the initial drop-off and pick-up. Once they were transported across the country, one container was delivered two days late, and the other one three days late. I was NOT notified that ANY of them would not be delivered when promised - I had to call the national customer support number. Every time I was told by customer support that I would be the first drop-off in the morning. One was dropped at 1:00, and the other one at 11:00 (after a 7:45 phone call from the driver letting me know he was an hour away). There is no way to reach local branches. Even customer support can't reach them most of the time. I was quoted $9440 for two 16 foot containers. It was said as, "I can get you moved for a total of $9440, with rental fees of $300 per container after a month." This was not true. It was $9440 PLUS tax, fees, and the rental for each container on top of it. So with all of this, plus the movers on both ends, I ended up paying the same amount was what United Moving Co quoted - and they would have been on time and wrapped all of my items.

The men that managed the pod in Houston, Texas and in Hudson Wisconsin were very professional and on time.

They called the day of the delivery to say the driver was sick and they could not drop off. This was a big issue since I had movers coming to pack it. They managed to get one there but we had to wait 2 hours for the 2nd container the next day.

Other than their truck breaking down and delaying delivery by a day, it was seamless. Fortunately I hadn't booked the helpers for until the next day for just such a mishap, and they made sure my bins were here before the unloaders arrived

Packrat is great; however, some of their customer service reps were not great. We ran in to a problem with our pods being delayed and were getting threats from the woman who bought our house. The customer service rep made a joke of it, refused to help and accommodate. When I asked to speak to a manager she said she was a manager and when i asked to speak to a snr manager she said she is a snr manager too. However, when I wrote an email to explain, I had an actual manager call me back and work on a resolution with me.

I have used them before and received a good container. This past container was rusty, and missing some of the proper tie down hooks.

PACK-RAT was on time, and communication was very good regarding pick up and delivery.

They were on time for delivery and pick up. They were accommodating when I needed to re-schedule.

Drop off was great. Picking up the full containers took some effort, as they picked up one but not the other.

The truck driver was the best. Quick efficient friendly and courteous. Oh my could he maneuver that truck!!! Tight fit in driveway and he did it with confidence and professionalism. I have never seen such an accurate quick truck driver. I worked in shipping dock for 7 years and this guy was GOOOOOOD!!!!

We are only 1/2 way through our move so far (we're packed up but haven't left yet) but we are happy with 1-800-packrat so far. They are easy to work with and their website makes it easy to schedule drop offs and pickups.

My local operations supervisor was terrific. After the container was delivered, I noticed there was a dent in the front wall bad enough that sunlight was shining into the interior and it would have let water in as well. I called and he had the driver come back and put thick foam tape inside and out.

The only issue we had was the driver pulled onto the driveway when I specifically asked for the container to be dropped on the street and unfortunately the driver cracked my driveway. I called and they are accepting a claim to repair.

Service as far as container pickup and delivery was good. Trying to get the right person on the phone can be a challenge. They send out emails from imaginary people and if you respond to them, you're just wasting your time. It's better to call.

Packrat services were fine, and the drivers were very excellent, I just don't like that the monthly rate was raised while I already had my things in storage.

Complete shit to be fair. Was told when I booked I would have POD by a certain date and now thats changed twice in two days. Dallas to Jacksonville should not take 9 days. Getting the run around on confirming delivery date.

Everything arrived safely and was delivered on time. Their communication with the customer could be better though.

The pick up at my house was excellent. In my new place I am waiting two days now for the delivery and the communication has been very poor. I’ve only known there was a delay because I called. They’ve given me five different times so far and no container has yet arrived. It is now 8:30 pm. of the second day.

Driver needs more training... but ok.

Good so far. We have onlypacked it up, but it hasn't shipped yet. We will see once the pod is shipped and is delivered for unpacking.

PackRat was chosen to provide 3 8x16 containers for my move. They placed these cubes within the parking lanes designated by the CubeSmart manager, without damage. The driver provided locks and demonstrated how to use the doors and where to attach tie down straps to hold materials in each section in place. They arrived on schedule and the same driver would return with one contaniter at a time. Great care was taken to protect my posessions. The containers were taken to the conditioned storage facility in Manassas, VA and they were loaded on a truck and quickly set out to my new home. Support was great and I received timely communications throughout the process.

Had everything removed from a full trailer in less than an hour, treating everything with care and checking with me on where each thing should go, etc. Friendly and professional all the way.

So far so good they picked it up from Staten Island, New York and it’s going to Maricopa Arizona. Will see you when it gets to Maricopa.

Product looks good. Driver was not a great representative of the brand. Container was dirty and needed a sweep. Delivery truck was filthy.

Everything seemed to arrive successfully. There was some shifting and a little box crushing, but all of the fragile stuff I unpacked arrived unscathed.

The computer system and phone answering at pack rat was a little unresponsive, but onvce we got through, they were helpful and professioinal. The guy who picked up and the guy who dropped off the pod communicated well and was great.

Michael Thomas (Greensboro, NC Office) and Gabby at Pack Rat were very helpful, very good with their communication about arrival times and cost. In addition the gentleman that dropped off the pods was very respectful and on time. The gentleman that picked up the pods was very nice as well and even came back later in the day to pick up my second pod because (of course) we had more items to add! My all around experience was very positive and everything went better than expected and could not have been easier. I highly recommend Pack Rat!
