Somehow they lost track of our pod and every time we called, they gave a different response as to what happened or where it was. We still don't know what happened, but after many calls and bad reviews on their FB page, we finally received it. I would NEVER use them again. Do not believe how much space they say it fits. It doesn't.

They did not notify me that my container hadn't left the initial location for transportation to my new location.

My container was in NJ and we moves to SC and it took about 3 weeks to get our stuff

I would certainly use these guys again if I needed to move. They communicated with me numerous times to make sure the schedule was correct. Also, scheduling on the website worked great. The drivers involved in my move were courteous and arrived on time.

'm half way through process - so far delighted with the service. The Delivery driver was excellent - incredibly skillful at negotiating my awkward driveway and ensured the pod was placed exactly where I wanted it. The pod iydrlf appeared virtually brand mew

I had a last minute long distance move so I only booked 48 hours in advance which made a great first impression. They arrived early and got to work right away. These guys worked lighting fast. I was impressed. Not all my items were boxed and ready to go but they were understanding and diligent. Never saw them hit a wall. Never saw any of my things fall. And I had all kinds of things in my apartment that they just hopped over with their nimble feet. All looked very well packed and secured in my bin. I highly recommend this crew! Thank you for making my last minute move less of a headache.

Containers arrived as scheduled, however did not have tie-downs as described in conversations while booking.

Didn't arrive when stated

This is the second time I used them for a move and I will use them again if the need arises. Clear communication and no issues with timing on pick up or drop off of the container.

The Mt. Prospect location was absolutely wonderful. The drivers were kind and courteous and let us know when our belongings would be picked up and delivered. The 800 Pack Rat on the other hand was a mixed up crew of wrong and inaccurate information. I had to keep on top of them at all times, even providing them with the container numbers and correct delivery dates/times. Home office and the actual delivery and storage end does not communicate. Packing and moving your own belongings is definitely a much harder option, but we had to store our stuff and renting containers was the only way to do it.

Very efficient company and using pods is convenient to make your move flexible even though costing a little more.

Little if any damage from furniture shifting during transport. Would highly recommend pack rat.

Overall I am satisfied. I thought the cost was pricey, but I had them move me cross country.

they do not diliver on dates the set for you, containers have lots of damage to them on the outside. you can not get hold of your local company at all. You call the 800 number and be put on hold over 1 hr or more, nor do they call you back via their call back system

They dropped of the pod a day later than scheduled because I was afraid the substituted 16-foot pod might be too large for my parking spot. But they came back the very next day with the 12-foot pod I'd ordered

The drivers were fine but your call service is not. I should not have to wait over an hour to speak to someone from PackRat.

Amazing And Affordable

Got both my containers to me right on time. The gentleman that delivered was great!

only delivered one of three containers and no one at the company had any remorse. MAKE SURE you answer your phone if they call because they will cancel you out with out NOTICE and then you are there on packing day scrambling to make things happen with more $$$$ coming out of your pockets

The customer service started out really good but then I received a text last night that our scheduled pickup/delivery for today has been rescheduled to the following day. This put us in a complete bind and cost us $300 more as we had to stay in the airbnb another night. There was no option to resolve it and have the containers moved on the date promised.

They were on time, accomplished the expedited delivery and nothing was damaged. Glad we chose them.

I lucked out getting a newer POD from PackRAT. They also have good customer service, online chat is actually functional and provided answers I needed during course of duration of move.

Very communicative and reaponsive.

Staff was always so friendly and great to work with. The only problem is when I tried to contact Customer Service I was on hold for about 45 minutes. The staff that picks up and drops off the units could not be nicer. We did have 1 out of the 3 units with a roll down door that was hard to use.

Pack Rats was excellent. POD was clean and arrived on time in NY and Florida.

Bruce in sales is absolutely exceptional, he goes above and beyond to make sure you have a smooth move!

Professional and efficient

Pods are not stored in climate controlled area. Personnel are horribly uninformed about company policies, if you can get anyone on the phone. Two employees never got back after promising to do so. Used an 8 ft and 16 ft pod. Almost the same price ($4000) to move both which made no sense. Our final Invoice was incomplete and lacked detail. 7-10 biz days for a long move that (10 days for us. SC to FL) that doesn’t come to you but has to stop at their local facility. So it took 11 days and they refused to admit they were late. This company is a mess with poorly trained employees. A little cheaper than PODS but not worth the difference. Poor experience and I tell you without hesitation to stay away.

Clean and easy storage!

Not only did they never give a reason why they kept rescheduling my delivery, the billing department felt that it was ok to bill me for 30 days of storage when my property was only in storage (their fault0 for 7 days! I will never use them again and will most certainly not recommend them!

The true test will be when the containers arrive. So far, I've had to follow up almost everything with a separate phone call. Smooth process? Not so much. But they were the most economical option.

I would recommend 800 Pack Rat again. The program is larger than PODS and they work with you on getting items dropped off and picked up. The containers do lack strap holds that are important for securing items in the container.

The trucker was able to place the crate in the best place for us to pack it. They came on time and picked it up on time.

I have to say - I have used a number of moving companies in the past- this was the worst service. They NEVER called, until 7 pm to delivery the pod, showed up at 9:30 pm at night, after numerous calls to see when it would be there. They POD was old - smashed on both sides.. with light shining in. And the pick up- THEY never even called me they just showed up?? AWFUL

Need workers in MD. Workers in FL were on time.

Container was delievered a day late and kept pushing me off without care or concern for anyone concerned. Supervisor from the customer service team was not only rude but didn't seem to care that our lives were being displaced and the load team was also having to change their schedules losing business. Poor management and communication.

Pack Rat is great if you DO NOT need to ever speak to their logistics coordinators. Multiple times tried to call in and was met with an eternal hold. POD is more money, but I think they had way better customer service. Also, containers they provide are not well maintained. Ours had bad seals on the doors that made opening and closing difficult at best. In the end, PACK RAT is more affordable, but you get what you pay for.

The container delivery and pick up went great. Good communication with the drivers.

did good jobs...we told them where we want the storage to put our driveway and on the street...they did picked up next day but didn't let us know they already picked up...The container was cleaning except 1 isn't cleaning...

Just the size I needed. Arrived on time, Clean and stayed nice and dry.

Moving on short notice and was able to get it done in a few days.

They were cheaper than others, but the service is pretty bad. The pickup date means nothing to them. Our pickup was a day later than scheduled, and customer service had no idea when it would be. But I'd voucher for the container, it's a solid one, steel and it protects well from the elements and has great capacity

It ended up costing me much more than initially planned.
