Expensive and a pain to get a hold of, no online account and could not get one setup up.

From the beginning of the moving process from NJ and storage of 2 pods for 5 months to the very end of the move to New Mexico everything went so smoothly. They delivered the containers when they said they would , picked them up when they said they would and delivered them when they said they would. All of the drivers were great across the board. I would highly recommend 1-88-PACK-RAT and would use them again without question.......just hopefully not to soon !

I had to change my dates due to the efficient help I got from moving helpers and Jesse and his crew were flexible in their scheduling. I had 2. 16 ft containers and 1 12 ft and they managed the coming and goings without a snag over a one week period. I would recommend that they add more hooks on some of their containers to give you easy places to tie off boxes and furnishings. Some had hooks on the Metal supports and some did not. it is easier to use the hooks than to tie off on the bracing supports. the containers were clean and swept and had doors that closed tight,y to protect my belongings. they also supplied locks when I requested since my plan was to store my things for a couple of months

The Pods and the staffers who transported them were also terrific and totally reliable.

Pack Rats helped to make our long distance move less stressful. The only glitch was the HOA does not allow deliveries after 6pm, I stressed this to Pack Rats yet a driver tried unsuccessfully to deliver a pod after 6pm. I had movers hired to unload the pod and had to reschedule, cost me $85. Other than that I would highly recommend Pack Rats.

The gentleman who delivered the containers could not have been any kinder or more professional. He took my concerns into consideration and placed the containers in the most reasonable and convenient locations possible. He went above and beyond to try and avoid damage to the trees while trying to make them as easy for us to load as possible. I wasn't there for the pick up but I have to imagine it was just as great as the dropoff since it was the same individual.

Lots of damage to my furniture from the loading team. Delivery team excellent. Other than that, I will never hire you again.

They were late delivering our pod and the communication was poor.

Absolutely no issues. My move lasted from November 2020 to April 2021 getting from VA to AL. Storage costs were reasonable and no damaged household items upon unpacking the 16-foot container. Would definitely recommend this company and I'd use them again in the future.

There was a large mistake made by the company. I purchased on Nov 2020 and was informed by phone and by email that my property would be shipped to Phoenix storage warehouse, but when I called last week after house closing to set up delivery dates for 4/19 thru 4/23 or so, I was told my property was still in California and it would be 3 weeks before delivery. Management fixed this but it was a big hassel.

Driver who dropped off container was totally experienced. Driveway is a shared driveway; but driver took his time in negotiating container into the perfect spot for us to load.

The containers are good for moving. The drivers who delivered and picked up the containers were professional.

I would have rated 1-800-PACK-RAT as 5 stars except that their website is absolutely lame. Every transaction required a call to their call center because the website simply wouldn't work correctly. A couple of times I had to call more than once because the call center folks couldn't seem to get it right either. But in the end, they showed up on time at both locations. They dropped off when they said they would, and picked up when they said too. Absolutely nothing was broken in the container. Other than the absolutely lame website and the call center folks who could use a little more training, it was a perfect experience. The bottom line? Use this service for your move, but pay very close attention to details. Once you get them right, it goes off without a hitch.

I ordered 2 containers at the same time, I had them delivered on the same day, I had them picked up on the same day, but when I had them delivered they only sent one. I had to call to find out why and they said I was not specific in my phone call that I wanted both containers. Really?? This delayed my family from being able to stay in our new home the night we closed. We had to stay in a hotel because our beds were in the container that was not delivered.

I will be getting another 16' for the rest of our stuff.

Nothing broken, placement and removal of containers very professional

Failed to deliver the container within the window of time. It came the NEXT DAY. Thus, the moving crew, cleaning crew, staging company preparing my house for sale, etc. all had to be changed. The website is not kept up to date with delivery dates. The most frustrating thing is when you call the ONLY number listed for them, it is a one-hour plus wait time or a promised call-back that happens hours from when you call. Container was beat up and rusty on the exterior with pieces of metal sticking out where it looked like a forklift had jammed into it. I thought the concept of packing up my life into container, while I waited for my new house to close, was a good idea. Not so sure. Haven't gone through the next step yet, of getting the container in the driveway of my new house on the day I requested. Fingers crossed.

The pods were fine, but our delivery was supposed to be on a Saturday, and actually came on Tuesday. That was a long wait after an already long wait.
