Lies,lies & more lies. Delayed by a month then lied about reimbursing for costs. Never once called me, never followed up. Worst company ever.

The container loading, delivery and unloading worked as planned. Great service.

So far Pack Rat has done a great job. First container was on time and the driver was courteous of the property and me.

Communication between PackRat and us was great.1

They are helpful and friendly but was quite inaccurate as to what two containers can hold. We need to double our container rental for our 5 bedroom home, average furniture load.

From the initial delivery of my containers at my starting point to the delivery and pickup of the containers at my new location, 1-800 pack rat was very easy to deal with, I could contact them at any time if I needed anything and the drivers were always very polite.

Took way to long to try and schedule deliver and pickup. deliver=21 minutes. Pickup=52 minutes,

had to wait all day for drop off

This was the best idea someone ever had! Pack Rat was great, from Susan, who signed me up and assisted me many times, to the guys who transported and delivered the container, I give them all 5 stars. My move was less stressful than it would have been if I had gone the DIY style. I highly recommend this company.

They were very good. We need two extra pods and they got them to us quickly.

Second time using this company, outside of long hold times on the phone, great people, friendly, very helpful, on time and excellent value.

It’s more of a 4.5+ stars as the container had several holes, which I patched up with high grade tape to prevent any rain water from going inside [it did rain]. Their delivering drivers [in IL and NV] were superb. They catered to my request to where to park the containers, which they did with incredible precision!

Customer service was good, but did have to call with questions because the generic emails don't provide good billing details. The truck drivers were very professional and skilled at moving the containers smoothly.

On time and out it perfectly where it needed to be!

Nothing broken. I wish I had gone with my first plan and gotten double the container size instead of being told all I needed was one container. This caused us a lot of problems.

great promo drop off and pickup was smooth and on time

I gave below average because I would have liked better communication. The container was delivered on time but the pick up of the full container was delayed by 3 days without giving us a heads-up, which delayed our travel plans to be at the destination to unload the container. Drop off at final destination was on time, so that was good, but we already delayed our trip because we were told the drop off would be delayed. Just poor communication. Otherwise the container was clean and sturdy and held all of our stuff and the lady who scheduled our initial order was very helpful.

Do not let them talk you into a smaller container. We needed double what they recommended and it was a mess to move. Trust yourself on how much you need.

Pack Rat was fine. Their customer service is great once you speak with them, which typically requires waiting on hold a few hours (they will call you back, but it's still a wait of several hours). Container arrival times are estimates, and note that it costs several hundred dollars for "city service" where they bring the pod to a location within an urban environment, leave it on the truck, and give you a few hours to unload it before taking it away. It's good they have that service, just wish it was a little more reasonably priced.

I had called only a few days before we needed everything during a very busy moving season. They got my 3 containers there on time. We actually needed another container and they got that one there for me as well. They were able to pick up 2 of the containers on the day I asked for and picked up the other 2 the next day. Worked out well for us.

With the first drop off of 2 containers, the driver didn't research his delivery situation. H attempted to deliver a truck and trailer load to a small long driveway out of town without seeing a way to get the containers off or turn around. carelessly drove on grass and over logs on the driveway edging. frustrating.

Used several tiumes and every time has been a wonderful experience

The sales team is great. They bend over backwards to accommodate your requests. However, the logistics team was not as pleasant. I was moving out of an apartment complex, so I requested same-day drop-off and pick-up. The sales team said no problem at all. They never mentioned that this was unusual or not something they usually did. A day before our container was scheduled to arrive, I got a call from someone about my drop-off and pick-up times. He was being extremely condescending and then was essentially straight up yelling at me for ordering same-day drop off and pick up. At the end, we were able to make it happen but I was left with a horrible bitter taste in my mouth and will likely use a different company when we move again. The container got to our new location just fine. There was some slight shifting, but nothing major, and nothing was damaged. Everyone else I talked to was great!

I cannot review the container yet, as it hasn’t arrived.

A little dicey on the communication and they delivered our container for loading two days late but apart from that, we are very happy with the service. Container arrived on time at destination and everything was in great condition. Drivers who picked up and dropped off the container were great (good communication w/ us to co-ordinate meeting place and positioning of container).

Angel was very good and was amazing and fun to watch him put it exactly where I wanted it. I had been a little anxious about the area where I wanted the cube but he was fantastic.

The field employees were great. The website is terrible, and the phone support is limited. We gave them a shot over other "PODS" companies, but the assurances the sales team made did not materialize in practice making the overall experience not worth the minor savings. Again, this is not an employee problem, everyone we spoke to was great, but there seems to be logistics and back-end customer service issues that need to be addressed. Hopefully, with time they will grow into the company they hope to be.

Very unhappy with the service and handling of their errors Will not use them or recommend them.

Drop off and pick up was easy and drivers were knowledgeable and friendly

My container was dropped off at my New Jersey location with no issues. Communication was provided on timeframe and was placed with absolute care. However my container that was loaded in New Jersey was brought to the Ashland VA location for storage. My container was supposed to have a drop off time at the new apartment between 8am and 12pm. Despite the constant communication i tried to do. This was not honored even though i agreed to an extra 50$ added to my bill for AM drop off. Once it went past 12pm, i took it upon myself to go to the facility since it wasnt far away. Once i got to the facility, James was inside the office, who i spoke to about the situation with my container. He said to me the driver was out in Williamsburg and that i would be the next drop off once his driver returns. He gave me a time frame of "around 3pm". I had movers scheduled at 3pm to start unloading. 230pm comes around with no communication on pickup from the driver. My wife and mother ends up going back to the facility only to find out i was lied to and i was never put on the schedule at all for that day and was then told because a truck broke down earlier in the day. I would like to gove a shoutout to the supervisor of that facility who worked with my wife and finally got my container to my new apartment at around 415pm.

They were very prompt with delivering the pods. They gave me a heads up before each delivery.

This is the only company that did a decent job with the move. Very expensive but moved from Northern California to Southern California. Had to get 4 containers. Make sure you keep asking for a discount! They didn't tell me all of the costs, and I was surprised. The drivers were all very nice and accommodating. One container was difficult to open and close, but it worked out. Make sure you call in advance for the containers to be delivered. My last container was delivered a day late and no communication in advance. I called when it was noon and nothing. Apparently, they are having problems with the supervisor at the warehouse not contacting customers. Hopefully they will figure this out, because all drivers are professional and helpful.

Delivery was after 6pm - I had waited all day. No delivery window, no communication until the truck was close. Calling customer service is a nightmare. Wait times have exceeded an hour every time I have called and then the call lasts over an hour because you are put on hold, transferred to other people, put on hold again. I would not use this company again.

Both drivers who dropped off my container and picked up mine were very friendly and easy to communicate!

There were some hiccups along the way with getting the container to the correct spot, we were given a free upgrade to a larger one and the customer services to work out the kinks was professional and kind. We will see how things go after it is transported 1300miles.

Pack Rat dropped the container off on time, and picked up on time as well.

Communication not good. Got it done and on time, but very stressful process. Empty container was delivered late at night when I was not there, and I told them I would not be there. Loaded container was put on the truck with door facing the wrong way...again, just really poor communication and coordination. Don't be fooled that your "move coordinator" does anything other than take your order, then poof...you're on your own to deal with multiple people.

Failed to pick up container 2 days without notification.

Better planning on behalf of the driver would have made our move in a bit more efficient.

Friendly delivery driver. On time. Accommodation made to delay the final pick up because it took longer than expected as we had to repack what the third party helper had done.
