Highly recommended over a moving company

Well oiled machine. Pod was transported from New Jersey to Montgomery Texas on time. The Pod was stored in climate controlled warehouse in New Jersey for 3 years. Contents were in great condition upon arrival. Very pleased!

I didn't have any issues with 1-800 Pack Rat. All the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The delivery, pick-up, and drop off of my pod went smoothly.

First time to use a container to move 2800 miles from east coast to west coast. Mostly satisfied with Pack Rat; a few logistical delays and too many phone calls but everything arrived safely and within a very reasonable amount of time.

Pack Rat was great. They were on time with delivery and pickup in both locations. For a long distance move especially if you are uncertain where you will end up, this is a great alternative.

Everything happened like clockwork. I wasn't sure what to expect since this is the first time I've moved using a container company. Pickup and delivery of containers was on-time and exactly where I wanted them. Drivers were all friendly and very accomplished at what they do.

They were easy to do business with and very punctual and accommodating. The containers were a bit old as they had several smaller holes. The drivers who delivered the containers were friendly and certainly did their job well.

This was a move of only a portion of the contents of former residence. Container was delivered (both empty and full) as promised). PackRat was also helpful in retrieving the unit early when we were able to unload earlier than anticipated.

Great customer service and price compared to other companies providing the same service. Container arrived on time to both destinations and drivers were in contact with us on their arrival times. We have used this provider a few years ago and was pleased with them then and were equally as pleased this time... so in other words the company has remained a five star service provider.

Think twice before using this company.

Well organized company. Note that if you are willing to wait up to 30 days for transport of the container, you can bring down the cost of transportation to your new destination.

The pack was delivered first thing in the morning and put on the exact spot I showed him. Professional, pleasant driver who knew what he was doing.

Pack- Rat was completely dishonest and delayed delivery 3 times - finally refusing to leave crate due to low wires, but I have to say they are the most terrible online service provider I have ever dealt with... left with 100% dissatisfaction.

Pack-Rat's customer service is beyond reproach. My contact in Raleigh, NC, Dawn (or Donna), answered questions that I did not even know I had! Her experience was my Godsend! My drivers (Reggie and Keith) skillfully maneuvered inside a fenced and gated storage unit facility.

I found a lack of communication after the initial booking of the container. The container had a few holes near the top corners of the container. When I called to let them know and asked if that could compromise the quality of the storage, all they said was they will note the damage for when it comes back to the warehouse. They overcharged me and promised a credit. It is three weeks later and I have yet to receive the credit on my card.

Moved from California to North Carolina. Container delivery and storage were all great. Delivery of container to my new place in North Carolina was 2 hours later than promised.

Second time I have used them, they are great. Very helpful and right on time.

The scheduled delivery and pick up for the storage container was right on time. The workers were personable. I was able to reach the support staff easily when questions arose or I wanted to schedule my container to transport my container to my destination.

I would have given excellent but when picking up container sitting on 4 small pieces of wood, the container fell off one piece and dragged onto my new concrete driveway. Driver said he was sorry. They need to invest in larger pieces of wood to protect people's property.

Long distance move. Miscommunication and logistics issues on providers end resulted in late arrival, which in turn caused a juggling of other resources to complete the move. Disappointed, as this is the second move for which I've conscripted with 1-800-PackRat, and I'll likely shop around for options next time.
