They did not pick up the container as promised. They need help.

Very pleased with this company so far. Professional and on time. I believe the size of the container was appropriate but I feel my movers were inexperienced and not unable to fit everything in.

With only one or two glitches, the service was good. We chose Pack Rat in part because of the "barn door" access rather than the "roll-up" access. The choice gave us more space and eliminated the possibility that shifting would cause the door to be blocked.

No complaints. On time and easy to work with. Nothing damaged during the time our goods were stored in the container.

Made everything easy even when my pick up location had issues. Loved this storage container company more then any others that I had used!

Delivery at the beginning was on time and efficient. The person who delivered to my new location had huge obstacles to confront - mud backing up a narrow road, etc. he did we,, in spite of those things!

Very happy with Packrat. The drivers at both ends were friendly. I did call several times, left my number, and with a very short period of time, every single call was returned. If Packrat fits your move, I recommend them. They have been an awesome company to work with.

This is my 5th time using Pack Rat and the Helpers. The best way to move, and it seems I do it often.

Furniture was damaged and scratched in several areas. Will never use them again

Although Pack-Rat was finally very efficient in picking up the storage container, they did so on the day after the agreed upon date. We had to call when no one arrived at the first expected time, and were given a later arrival time. Even later, Pack-Rat called to apologize and gave us a new time for the next morning. This time, the driver arrived on time and did a great job moving the container from a difficult to access site. The pick up snafu was the only reason for our lowered rating. Overall, we had a great experience with Pack-Rat, from the initial quote to the delivery and pick up. Pack-Rat provided great customer service, especially in dealing with a unique permitting issue and had professional, courteous and very skilled drivers. We would definitely contract with Pack-Rat again.

My belongings made it safely. I chose this company because of the type of container they have. The storage cost was not consistent every month and was not the same as my contract so a phone call had to be to figure out the issue. The blanket rental was quite costly. They were friendly when on the phone. My belongings made it safely and in good order.

We highly recommend this Company. The delivery of the containers (and subsequent pickup for temporary storage) was on-time, and the driver excellent in placing the 2 containers exactly where they were needed in a tight driveway.

1800Packrat was great. They wee timely and responsive to my situation. We needed a second container and they were great getting it to us and picking it up. They would get the 5th star if they are just as good in the delivery of our containers at the destination across the country. Mesa Az to Naples Fl.

Worked very well for three rooms and assorted extras. Container was in great shape. Customer service was excellent throughout. Chose this company because of the customer service, price, and availability. Yes, would use again and fully intend to... You don't realize how much room they need to drop off/pickup container until it appears, so plan accordingly.

A few things incurred small damage, but nothing out of the normal

My move was an unplanned out of state move. A moving truck might have cost less than packrat, because the helpers would’ve been included. Packrat made it easy though. I could plan my furniture to be moved in a week.

Pack-Rat's customer service provided by C. Davidson was exceptional. She helped us solve some permitting issues as well as think through the space challenges for parking the container. And then Robert delivered it and did an excellent job getting it parked. Both went the extra mile and were so pleasant to work with. We would definitely use Pack-Rat again.

Great to work with on the phone. Used their containers because they were a little taller inside & could accommodate my furniture better.

Local crew out of Chattanooga went the extra mile to get our containers to us for loading when national schedulers didn't allow time for both containers to be delivered the same day. Their crew made the difference in saving our moving experience. It would have been easier if we could have communicated directly with them prior to or morning of delivery due to distance containers had to be delivered. Customer service at national office has been thorough and pleasant to deal with. Still have containers in storage for 3 months so can't make final assessment on storage and delivery. Chose them for cost.

we were very awkward customers, trying to figure out a complicated move that ended up involving 4 containers going out of state over a period of 2 months. I had to make date changes again and again, once of them a scant 24 hours ahead of time, and was never charged a dime extra or grumbled at. I know it was a lot of extra paper work for Pack Rats, but there was never a whimper. or a fee. I was a wreck, but they were cheerful, efficient and helpful and stuck with me to the end. I love those people. PS - They were also most helpful in recommending crews to help pack and unpack. And they were wonderful too.

1-800-Pack-Rat is the way to move. I had 2 - 16 foot containers packed and moved over 500 miles. Customer Service was very helpful on setting containers and removing them. I would recommend 1-800-Pack-Rat to family and friends. The cost was affordable and easy.

We used both 800-Pack-Rat and a U-Haul U-Box since the 16 foot container from 800-Pack-Rat wasn't quite big enough and they did not have a smaller option for an additional container going across country. The container was dented on one end, but structurally sound, and didn't leave me with tons of splinters like the U-Box did. Service was good, but if you need to call them, expect excessively long hold times trying to reach someone. They also should offer more affordable options for additional units for long distance moves. Knowing what I know now, I may have gone with a different vendor who offered a better value for multiple units.

The Pack Rat phone staff and drivers were great. They were professional. The driver called upon arrival for the drop off and the driver texted me that the container was picked up. They much nicer about explaining the pricing than PODS.

I sprayed the pod with pesticide three times before it was loaded, as well as the ground around it. Each moving pad was placed in a clothes dryer for 30 minutes at high heat yet a couple of roaches were found. The Hire a Helper crew in St. Petersburg, Fl. were 2 hrs late each day and damaged our furniture in many places.

Drop off and pick up went very smooth.

Everything was great except when I called to have it delivered they forgot to mention that I needed a permit to park on the street which resulted in a week's delay of getting my stuff. When I called to complain they listened to the conversation then payed for the permit and got it rushed through which made the delay tolerable.

Pack rat are great. I used them and POD's each and the Pack Rat container was far sturdier and didn't get my furniture dirty like PODS.

Pods delivered on time but had mix up on pick up time which was very stressful. Overall service was ok.

I was thoroughly happy with the procurement process. However, upon the unpacking of my POD, was VERY DISAPPOINTED to discover the poor handling of precious artwork and also had damage to brand new furniture.

Overall, a very smooth move

Delivered and picked up the container on time, the driver was very professional and courteous. The container has not arrived at my new location yet but I will update this when it does. Update: It arrived as scheduled and there was no damage to anything inside which speaks to the way the container was loaded and handled in transport. Great job!

This was the first time I have used Pack Rat and they came to me with high recommendations. I fully agree and would use them again without reservation. Phone calls were available at any time and my questions were fully answered. The pods were clean, the locks worked flawlessly, and the drivers were polite and helpful.

So far they have only delivered the empty pods to my house for loading, but they were on time, the driver was helpful and the pods are clean.

Container was placed as scheduled. I will have first container moved and second one placed next week. Customer Service very helpful. I choose 1 -800- Pack - Rat after reviewing my options. So far I have been very please. ALL containers will move out of state. This will be the test on service and my final rating overall.
